Fridge / Are You Lost?

• Fridge Horror: It's likely that the other students, teachers, and flight crew aboard the plane are dead. Considering that we don't see any other people with the girls, and the girls barely survived the crash itself, one has to wonder how the others died, whether on impact with the ocean after the plane broke apart, or more likely how long they lasted until they drowned. It must've been terrifying for those whose last moments may have been the plane crashing into the ocean, or worse, initially surviving only to drown or be attacked by a shark. As much as they complain about how hard surviving on the island is, Shion, Mutsu, and Asuka should be thankful they didn't meet the same fate as their classmates. The final volume of the manga reveals that the plane came to a stop near a military base, and the other passengers spent only a few hours in the ocean with life preservers before being rescued.
