On the manga covers, Kitano is often depicted with pure white angel wings, despite being mistaken for a delinquent with a Nightmare Face. This plays into his personality and reputation - deep down, he's a very kindhearted boy, but that isn't made apparent to others until much later, because everyone sees what's displayed at the front.
Kitano displays increasingly good reflexes on an instinctual level, on par with an almost inhuman resistance to beat ups, injuries and general pain. This may be attributed partially to heritage from his father's side, but mostly to having being pushed, persecuted and punched on a daily basis on first sight, by random strangers, all his life. All this only based on his appearance.
