In Reefly City, a coastal town dubbed "the Jewel of the Ocean", three arrivals happen at the same time: Ayza, a Salandit-Helioptile hybrid that smuggled her way inside the town's security and aims to meet the local King; Blight, an Ultra Being Poipole that left their home led by their curiosity; and Javier Wright, an anxious Puerto Rican teen reincarnated as a shiny Drizzile.
With another human already called forth before him, Javier finds himself tangled up with Ayza and Blight, rechristening himself as Coral as he and his unlikely companions move their first steps in the city together, an already chaotic world ready to be destabilized further, all while trying to make new lives for themselves... if the impending troubles won't prevent them from doing so.
