Kaminari Denki's Kaleidoscope of Colors[1]
is a crossover series between My Hero Academia and Assassination Classroom.
Kaminari Denki was born into a family of assassins that did the dirty work of the Hero Public Safety Commission. As his exam to acquire his assassin's license, Denki was put into Assassination Classroom 3-E. After their exam, Class 3-E scattered to the winds, continuing to take assassination jobs while attending high school.
The series has five works (descriptions taken from the series page):
- Amber- A look into Kaminari's life.
- Medallion - Kaminari's life seen through the eyes of 1-A.
- Butterscotch - Kaminari’s life seen through the eyes of 3-E.
- Ecru- Sensei meet & greet and Class 1-A learns about Kaminari
- Royal- Kaminari’s Family.
The series as a whole provides examples of:
- Dark and Troubled Past: The members of Class 3-E were brought up as assassins to serve the Hero Public Safety Commission.
- Red Baron: The assassins all have code names, though only a few are mentioned.

- Devil: Akabane Karma
Amber provides examples of:
- Internal Reveal: Nedzu reveals that Denki is the assassin Amber to the staff of UA, much to their shock. After the League of Villains' attack on the training camp, Kirishima states that Denki is part of Class 3-E in front of the rest of 1-A.
- Motif: Choices.
- Rage Breaking Point: After Ashido accuses him of not trying hard enough to save Bakugo, Denki snaps and exclaims that he was forced to let him be kidnapped and never had a choice.
Denki: Don’t even try saying that to me! Did you know how hard I tried?! How hard I tried to protect you guys?! Some things- no, everything - is out of my control, Ashido! Do you know how that feels? Every time you try something that wasn’t even your choice to do in the first place, you’re constantly blamed for the failure? Do you know how it feels to be a bystander of your own life?
