- After Izuku learns that All Might is his dad, he doesn't just accept it because his dad was absent his entire life and he's upset his idol is his Disappeared Dad, not helped by the fact that All Might had many opportunities to tell him. Inko brings up the possibility it may be too late for them to have a relationship. He also takes down his posters of All Might as the idea of idolizing his biological father like that makes him deeply uncomfortable.
- All Might tells Izuku he wants to spend time with him as Izuku is his successor. Izuku leaves upset and Aizawa smacks Toshinori for saying that instead of wanting to spend time with Izuku because he's his son. Izuku knows it was careless wording but was still deeply hurt by it, especially because it's one of the first conversations they have after the reveal.
- Everyone Has Standards: Bakugo is shocked that Izuku thought that Bakugo hated him for missing an arm.
- Handicapped Badass: Izuku has been missing an arm since he was seven. He still learns to kick ass.
- Heroic Bastard: Izuku was born out of wedlock.
- Parental Substitute: Aizawa is Izuku's major father figure in this continuity, having mentored him for years.
- Took a Level in Badass: After gaining One For All, Izuku's control of its power becomes near perfect.
