When the Main page said it was based of of EarthBound elements, it also atttached all the weirdness and freaky elements as well.Towelket : One More Time is a series of doujin RPG games made on RPG Maker 2000 by Kanashimi Hocchikisu (かなしみホッチキス). Within the cult following, it is reknown for its story-telling with horrific, surreal and philosophical themes, with an occasional gore. Each world ends up under a sugar apocalyptic setting, in which the player character will have to fix. Most of the time, they will become corrupted by the world themselves and be unable to fix it.
This series provides examples of:
- Alien Blood: Played with. The blood of the vegetable people are red rather than the color of the vegetable.
- Slightly justified that they bleed "vegetable juice" which is colored red on some occasions. Oh god...
- Gorn: In the torture room at the alien base in Towelket 3, some of the Pons that were captured are mutilated, with missing bodies, chunks of their head missing, or brain dead. Some are just a mush of flesh.
