A series produced by Korean studio Wungsoo Animation, it originally aired on January 4, 2011 (in English, as a Korean version came out in January 7, 2011 afterwards). Changeul Jun essentially came up with the concept of this series, and then became a big part of its production.

There are fairy-like beings called the Color Charms (like the title implies). While their world remains relatively unknown, older teen Charms - usually coming with occupations or simple hobbies - are summoned to any child that was seen as needing their supervision.Well... whoever is seen as "troubled" to what person is getting them summoned, anyway...

The series did get originally picked up for 13 episodes, but after the potential was seen to be a successful franchise, there's currently 9 seasons and 26 episodes for each. Even then, the show is currently on hiatus until production members can gather for episode creation again!

Time to paint the tropes blue!

    Tropes (General)
  • Motifs: While the Charms are named after something having their respective color, those with a profession have something referencing a creativity-based hobby - fusing with something related to how specific artwork is made.
    • Catalase uses watercolor paint, useful for potion concocting.
    • Birch grows plants by using a pen to create more ink, simply leaving it there... well, as if it's on paper.
    • Jamdani uses dye, also to draw on felt, and cut outfits out within.
    • Spud makes confectionaries by combining types of gel food paint and warming or cooling it.
    • Gizmo is the odd one out, as he makes art using electricity. He knows it's risky but gets his jobs done.
