Yukito Ayatsuji is the pen name of Naoyuki Uchida (Born December 23, 1960). Ayatsuji is an award-winning mystery and horror author from Japan and a founding member of the Honkaku Mystery Writers Club of Japan. His most famous work internationally is Another, which has been adapted into an anime, but he has published many other works which have yet to receive an official English translation and publication. He is married to Fuyumi Ono, a fellow author.
