The company (in its current form) was formed in 2022 after Univision Communications acquired Televisa's content assets as part of a historic three-way spin-off of the company (the news assets went to Tritón Comunicaciones). With headquarters in both the US and Mexico, TU is the largest Spanish-speaking media company in the world producing.
