Ramy Youssef (born March 26, 1991) is an American writer, actor, comedian, and director. He is best known for being the creator and star of the semi-autobiographical series Ramy, which is based on his experience of growing up with Egyptian Muslim parents in New Jersey. Prior to this, he had a main role in the sitcom See Dad Run and a recurring role on Mr. Robot. He is also a co-creator of Mo along with his collaborator Mo Amer. Youssef released his first stand-up comedy special, Feelings, on HBO Max in 2021.
