Katie Tiedrich (born July 11, 1991) is a webcomic artist based in Madison, Wisconsin. She is best known for her video game-themed webcomic Awkward Zombie as well as illustrating the first three chapters of Aikonia. She also contributed the story "Lead Balloon" to the comic anthology Failure to Launch: A Tour of Ill-Fated Futures

Katie is the daughter of political commentator/graphic designer/musician Jeff Tiedrich, as well as the subject of the most 2001 photo ever taken. She also works as a rocket scientist, has designed spaceship parts for NASA and has been married to Norrin Hester since 2016.
