The frogs behind the frogs. Note that there may be some overlap with TheStrawhatNO's character page, due to them being fronted by the same people.

ThornBrain

Co-founder, account manager, and team head.

  • The Leader: Even during Yoshi's time as the head of SFA, Thorn took charge of most everything. Became formal when Yoshi stepped down as SFA's writer in 2012.
  • Middle Name Basis: An unusual variation. She liked being called "Thorn" far more than her deadname, so when she legally changed her name after coming out as transgender in 2021, she adopted it as her middle name. She's rarely called her first name by the team or viewers, (Mikaela), though she is sometimes called her preferred diminutive version of it, "Miki".
  • Woman of a Thousand Voices: Voices the majority of the cast in everything they do.

Mugiwara Yoshi

Co-founder, original creator and project head of SFA.
  • The Leader: He was this for the team from its inception until stepping down as writer for SFA in 2012, though by his admission it was in name only. He was considered this due to having the original idea to start SFA and bringing the team together, and many of their early one-shots were also his idea.
  • Phrase Catcher: When Thorn begins a podcast:
"Joining me, as always, is Yoshi."

Jiggly Jacob

Promoted Fanboy voice actor-turned-cowriter of SFA and subsequent projects.

  • Middle Name Basis: Like Travis, he's one of the few team members referred to by his real name, but his first name is James. He prefers to go by his middle name, Jacob.

BigTUnit1 (Travis)

Co-writer (2011-2017), dependably ridiculous sense of humour.

  • Ascended Extra: Was originally just a guest voice for Viper in SFA Episode 4. By Episode 9, Thorn had asked him to help him with Jetters Abridged, and they needed help with writing SFA9. By Season 2 he was an honorary MidnightFrog and recurring co-writer until formally leaving the team in 2017.
  • First-Name Basis: One of the few team members referred to by his actual name.
