Bean Village has a wide array of different characters, many with a wide array of tropes contained in them.

Bean Village Residents

    In General

    Beanbot

Species: Robot/Ghost

Beanbot Toodeloo is a 14 year old boy whose ghostly spirit possesses various robotic bodies. He used to be the mayor of Bean Village, and has a psychic connection to the island itself. As of the December 2022 election, he is no longer the mayor.

His tropes include:

    Dagon

Species: Ocean God

A Physical God, with immortality, omnipresence, and tons of other powers. He has a cult somewhere in the American Midwest. It’s mostly unknown why he allies with the Bean Villagers, but he’s certainly a big help.

    Molton

Species: Human (Formerly Ghost)

One of the creators of the Simulation. She’s a proud capitalist, with multiple large companies under their ownership. She’s also by far the richest person in Bean Village.

Their tropes include:

  • Foil: Has one in the form of William. Both are young adult capitalists prone to swearing, with highly questionable morality. However, William sees the Simulation’s residents purely as code from an experiment, while Molton has found friendship in the residents of the Simulation, and in Bean Village especially. Thus, William is much more willing to destroy the Simulation than Molton. Also, both are killed by Ebony, in one way or another.

    Bloby TNT

Species: Void-Enhanced Human

The ruler of the Void, although he spends more time in Bean Village than in his actual domain. Bloby wasn’t the first to discover the void, but he was the first to claim it as his own, upon which point he became trapped in the void for thousands of years, never aging. His time there gave him the ability to control the void, and open portals into and out of it. He’s also quite skilled at inventing, as shown with Elliot. As of the February 2023 election, Bloby is the mayor of Bean Village.

    Blade

Species: Lawyer

A teleporting alien lawyer. His teleportation abilities and seemingly infinite (somewhere in the quintillions most of the time) number of weapons make him a dangerous adversary on the battlefield, and his intelligence and knowledge of Bean Village law make him a threat in court as well.

    Hello

Species: Human (Presumably)

Hello is a witch of many mysteries. Upon her arrival in Bean Village, she established herself as a powerful user of magic, and their power only grew upon pledging their warlockship to Dagon.

    TMK

Species: Human (Presumably)

    Owen

Species: Unknown (Formerly a Light God, and later Cat)(Possibly some sort of inter dimensional vessel)

    Corbonic

Species: Human (Presumably)

    Ray

Species: Human

  • Bratty Half-Pint: Has a habit of acting like this, particularly via shooting people.

    Ryder

Species: Ghost

    Hello’s Cats

Species: Cats and Humans

    Chalupa

Species: Ocean God

The server’s interpretation of Cthulhu. Owns Chalupa’s Chalupas. Ambiguously Related to Dagon.

Void Residents

Note: Bloby is the monarch of the Void, but he’s in Bean Village most of the time, so he’s listed there instead.

    Ebony

Species: Unknown, Formerly Ghost

BSA Residents

    G La DB Ea N

Species: Robot

    Jack

Species: Unknown

    Wren

Species: Human (Maybe)

Real World Residents

    William

Species: Human

The Plantlands

Clones

    Matilda

Species: Void-Infused Human

A genderflipped and corrupted clone of Bloby TNT, created by Liam’s cloning machine. She seems to be much more willing to exploit the powers of the void to their full potential than Bloby, and plans to use them to take over and destroy the Bean Village archipelago.

[[/folder]]

    Nova

Species: Unknown

A genderflipped clone of Owen, and one of the first clones to be created, as well as the longest-lasting. She’s as nice as Owen, but seems a bit more susceptible to the corruption of interdimensional power…

Her tropes include:

  • Real Life Writes the Plot: Zigzagged. The person playing Nova (also named Nova) hadn’t yet transitioned when the character was created, but after she did, the character took on a somewhat more plot-relevant role.
