Awesome Music / Riddle School

Go To

  • THE TEMPLE, the menu theme for all seven games. It hits hardest in Riddle Transfer 2, especially for the longtime fans who waited five years for a finale they thought wouldn't come.
  • For My Lady, the credits theme of Riddle School 3. A calming piece that makes the end of the game really feel like you've reached a sweet goal.
  • Dark Seaside, main theme of Riddle School 5. Haunting and mysterious, it highlights the strangeness of the completely different setting and the imminent yet unseen threat.
  • That Strange Noise, the music for the climax of Riddle School 5. Composed of only staccato notes, the song gives an "I can do it" feeling while simultaneously urging the player to move quickly and save the world.
  • Forever Victorious, the music for Riddle School 5's ending cutscene. It highlights the relief of the threat being vanquished and being safe at last, looking forward to the bright future ahead on earth (after two more games, that is).
  • Orange, the credits theme of Riddle School 5. The bounciness and beat are hard to resist bopping to. You can tell that Jonochrome wanted a happy, celebratory piece to send off his series with. (Until he Retconned that decision and made another game.)
  • a sprinkle of funk, music for the opening of Riddle Transfer. A simple, peppy piece that gradually builds up, it helps players get back into the story of Phil and company.
  • Cold Hope, the main theme of Riddle Transfer. It highlights the tenseness of the situation and the determination to get out of it as quickly as possible.
  • Light the Darkness, the music that plays in Riddle Transfer after Diz has been rescued and the group is heading for the ship and ready to leave their prison. It has a sense of overcoming and finality that fits the moment well.
  • ClockWorks, which plays in the Riddle Elementary section of Riddle Transfer 2, lends the game a melancholy and bittersweet tone as you revisit the setting and characters of the first game one last time, now twisted by Quiz's takeover.
  • Riddle Transfer 2 Credits, Exactly What It Says on the Tin. An acoustic, calm remix/medley of "Blue Sky", "Dark Seaside" and "Orange", arranged by Jonochrome himself. Absolutely flooded with nostalgia and hard to not cry to. Listening to it brings you through the memories of the past six games and gain solace in the closure brought by the seventh. There couldn't be a more perfect song to close out the series for good.
