Awesome / The Wheel of Time (2021)

• Winter's Night is seen in all its brutality as the climax of Episode one. Lan and Moiraine appear and together fight off an army of Trollocs by themselves, including the end where another large wave rushes Moiraine and she takes them all out.
• When Rand and Mat are first introduced to Thom he appears on stage in an almost intimidating manner with only his boots showing at first before he picks up his instrument and begins to sing. While it is subtle it clearly establishes that there is more to this Gleeman than meets the eye.
• Nynaeve gets a huge one in Episode 4, the show revealing to us - and herself - that she can channel by way of her pouring her heart and soul into healing Lan and every wounded person in the entire cave with a great cry of distress. Truly one of the most epic White Magician Girl moments in all of media.
• The Cold Open of Episode 7 gives us an Aiel woman fighting and killing several soldiers while in the active stages of labor, dueling with her spears and fighting on even while she's frequently doubled over with contractions and after taking a stab wound. Her sheer determination to bring her child into the world is awe-inspiring, especially after it was confirmed that this is Tigraine Mantear aka Shaiel, who is giving birth to the Dragon Reborn and will let nothing stop her from saving the world.
• Lanfear gets a villainous version of this in Episode 7 of Season 2, when she shows just how powerful she is by casually walking through Cairhien and tossing fireballs around. When Siuan tries to fight her, she easily tosses the Amyrlin around like a rag doll and makes it clear that she's only letting Siuan, Moiraine and Lan live because it's convenient to her.
  • Rand breaking the shield on Moiraine - who hasn't been stilled, just shielded - by channelling a blade of saidin and cutting through it.
• The second season finale is basically one big example of this as most of the episode consists of the heroes taking back Falme from the Seanchan Empire, with basically all characters getting a moment of awesome around killing the bad guys.
  • Special mention goes to Mat for first using a quarterstaff and a piece of cloth to turn the Shadar Logoth dagger into his iconic ashanderai without having to touch the dagger, and then blowing the Horn of Valere, summoning the Heroes of the Horn and remembering that he is in fact one of them.
    • And who's among the Heroes of the Horn? None other than Uno.
  • Egwene openly defies Renna when Renna orders her to shoot fireballs into the crowd, and spits out her muzzle. Then she yanks an a'dam off a dead damane, and when a furious Renna tortures her, Egwene responds by shoving the collar on Renna and paying her back in kind for the cruel treatment the sul'dam gave her two episodes earlier, culminating in Egwene hanging her on a pillar by the collar and leaving her to choke to death. After the absolute hell Egwene went through, watching her get her well-deserved revenge and figuring out how the a'dam works is cathartic.
  • Moiraine and Lan rebuilding their bond, and then fending off Seanchan soldiers on the beach and Moiraine blowing up the boat with Suroth on it, breaking the shield that Suroth's damane had cast on Rand and enabling him to fight Ishamael.
  • Moghedien gets a minor one when she wipes the smug smile off Lanfear's face at the end by informing her that Ishamael let the rest of the Forsaken out as a precaution, knowing Lanfear would betray him. She might be weaker than Lanfear, but she's still a Forsaken, and a force to be reckoned with.
