Awesome / The Catastrophe of the Emerald Queen

Go To

  • Sophie's punishment of the King's Daggers. Turning them all into old men, therefore removing their ability to prey on the weak or vulnerable BUT allowing them to redeem themselves and regain their youth if they save the life of an innocent person.
  • Mordalayn tricking King James into positioning himself near the flight of stairs leading up to the palace. He then invokes a spell making the statues on the ballustrades come to life who form a phalanx around James and drag him up the staircase. His 1000, highly trained legion of killers can't help him as the staircase is too narrow.
