Mia and her friends have their moments in the moon to show their awesomeness.
- In the first volume, Mia dares to walk through the New Moon District, a place that is basically worse than the slums, and she isn’t the least bothered by it due to being conditioned to horror. She not only saves the life of a child, but she is able to inspire Ludwig to get a hospital funded to prevent an outbreak.
- In Volume 2, Mia is able to use her ‘selfishness’ to her advantage by order Dion and his men to pull out of the Lulu territory to protect her, so there would not be any war. Later, she inadvertently encounters the chief of the tribe when trying to find the hairpin she lost which allows her to resolve the conflict peacefully.
- The fact that Mia’s actions have angered the Chaos Serpents to the point that they more or less admit her actions and reforms have derailed their plans to destroy the Tearmoon Empire.
- Volume 5:
- Mia manages to help with successfully delivering a baby horse.
- Mia is able to defeat Ruby in a horse race, and in the aftermath figure out that Ruby is in love with Vanos. While she supports the idea of this 'forbidden romance' she uses the situation to her advantage to help both Ruby win Vanos' heart and Ruby to her side.
- Volume 7 features Mia officially recruiting the elder children of the Etoile Dukes to combatting the Chaos Serpents and help move the Tearmoon Empire towards a better future rather than fall to ruin like the original Emperor did.
- Volume 9 features a duel between Sion and Abel regarding Mia's heart to act as the official conclusion to their fights in the first two volumes. Abel is able to overpower Sion and win.
