• When Iselin threatens to kill Viji unless Malte brings her the completed map, Malte actually tells Lyda and Gibbus about this while Iselin it out of earshot when he and Lyda are preparing to enter the third test, showing his Character Development and that he has learned from a previous mistake. However, the biggest moment of awesome in that episode is Gibbus, who for most of the series up to that point had been manipulated by Iselin disguised as Aris into telling her everything about his family's plans, manages to use the fact that she doesn't yet know that he now knows that she and Aris are the same person to lure her into a trap. He even manages to take away her ice stones while doing so, before surrounding her and himself in a ring of fire. Iselin has a Villainous Breakdown upon finally being Out-Gambitted by the heroes, and is forced to release Viji.
• In the last episode, Karla goes to the school to look for Malte, and ends up coming across Iselin. Her reaction upon realizing Iselin is in the room with her? Pull out the kitchen torch, light it and point it in Iselin's direction while demanding to know where her brother is. Iselin is unfazed, but Karla does manage to keep her distracted just long enough for Malte and Lyda to save Rune, restore the power of the pact and save Lyda's family, before luring Iselin into a trap.
