• In Number 12 (Part One), the Doctor briefly wakes up the next day after entering Equestria to write Twilight a note, make breakfast, and set a trap for the Weeping Angels.
• In Number 12 (Part Two), the Weeping Pegasi have caught Twilight and the Doctor is forced to let them take her away. However, before they leave, the Doctor gives them a few words.
  The Doctor: And to you. Be warned, you’ve done the wrong thing now. You’ve gone and made me mad. No matter where you go, no matter what you’re planning, I will find you, and when that happens, you’re going to wish the Abstract Plane had turned you into a pebble.
• Pinkie manages to destroy a Weeping Pegasus with a battleaxe.
• The climax gives one to both Twilight and the Doctor. Twilight gets hers for sending off Pinkie and Spike to warn everyone about the Weeping Pegasi even if it leaves her all alone to face the last one. That alone takes courage.
  • This leads into the Doctor's moment when it's revealed that he tricked the Pegasus into turning him into a toad so that he can EAT the Pegasus fragment and trick the Pegasus into getting close enough for the Doctor to use said fragment to take control of Twilight's magic away from the Pegasus. Yup, he's the Doctor.
• One word: Pockets.
  • To explain: The Doctor appears at Night Shift's home while Twilight, Pinkie, and Spike are cornered by Weeping Pegasi, and is so invested in talking about his new suit that he apparently doesn't notice the problem... until he mentions it's best feature, the pockets from which he pulls out his sonic screwdriver and melts the floor, trapping the Pegasi.
    • Even better is the fact that the Doctor got the sonic to work on wood. Word of God is that it's Magic wood that makes the difference.
• Twilight escaping Prance's catacombs without magic.
• Twilight, the Doctor and Dorian are trying to open the water release to free the brainwashed ponies, but come under attack by the Will-o-wisps. Dorian manages to shrug it off and turn the release valve while giving this little piece of awesome.
  Dorian: You shall not keep me under your power any longer. I have been in the dark too long. You abused Lydian's memory to turn me into a monster. A phantom of my former self. But no. I am alive. I am myself. I am Dorian Mode. AND YOU SHALL NOT WIN THIS DAY!
• In Q&A #3, the Doctor traps a giant monster inside a lemon.
• Shadows of the Lunar Republic features moments for mulitiple characters.
  • Twilight speaks with and befriends the TARDIS. This not only allows Twilight to figure out what to do next, but also unleash the light of the TARDIS to hold off the Vashta Nerada later.
  • Viva saving Twilight and the Doctor in her introduction.
  • Luna weaponizes the moonlight by making it brighter than the sun, simultaneously creating the brightest night ever and vanquishing the Vashta Nerada.
