PP Chapter 3: If At First You Don't Succeed, Wait For The Author's Help

Written By: Ebony
POV: Third person

While Charity is more reasonable than most of the Prayer Warriors(which isn't saying much), and could be convinced to give up on converting Applejack and Rainbow Dash, that doesn't mean that she's happy about it. She thinks Rainbow Dash is too "girly" (not only is there the fact that she IS a girl in canon, but she's also one of the more tomboyish members of the Mane Six; essentially, her personality's been inverted), and is disappointed that Applejack is not a Christian despite being from Missouri.

Twilight, however, reassures Charity, saying that God will not give up on them as long as they continue their mission. She says Celestia has been nasty to her in the past (Granted, Celestia's actions in the first part of the Season 2 finale were controversial, but as far as I know, she doesn't have a track record for this), and says that she's considered a "troll" for good reason. She then says that Pinkie Pie is more open to "good news" like the Gospel. Charity laughs, with the text saying that "the gospel" means "the good news" and saying Christians can have a sense of humor.

They approach Pinkie Pie, who gives them a "hyperactive" greeting of "Hullo" and asks who Charity is. After a bit of meandering about how weird Pinkie Pie's behavior is to those who don't know her well, Twilight introduces Charity and mentions Jesus. Pinkie Pie receives it about as well as Celestia and Applejack did, saying that Celestia warned her that Christians poison people in their sleep. She tells Twilight that they're no longer friends without even letting her get in a word edgewise and locks herself in her house.

Charity and Twilight are bewildered by this outcome, but decide to sleep on it. That turns out to be the best course of action, as that night, Pinkie Pie has a dream about Jesus saving her from demons, and immediately decides to convert.

Next Installment: The Prayer Ponies work on Spike next, but once again, they have a bit of help.
