As Twilight breaks down and cries like a baby, Charity retains the presence of mind necessary to start praying, and gets Twilight to join in. Charity realizes that someone put Satanic magic on the trees, and suspects it's Celestia, but, in stark contrast to Jerry killing his wife after he heard that she was cheating on him, she's hesitant to jump to conclusions.
For the moment, Charity and Twilight pray to God for His protection, doing it loudly so that He will hear them, since they realize that He is a very busy "person." Their prayers are answered, as God gives them the power they need to defeat Celestia, and while Twilight is not nearly as experienced as Charity, their combined efforts defeat the trees. The trees burst into flames and are banished to Hell, and Twilight and Charity pray over the ashes so that the demons will never return.
Twilight and Charity encounter Applejack and Rainbow Dash at the former's farm. Applejack is picking apples as she listens to an iPod (something that the narration reminds us is an Apple product), and Rainbow Dash is helping her. Applejack, somewhat like Celestia, is glad to meet Twilight's new friend, until she brings up Jesus. At that point, Rainbow Dash turns his head over to check what's going on.
Yes, that's right. Rainbow Dash is being portrayed as male in this fic. This is arguably up to They Just Didn't Care levels.
Applejack coldly says that she doesn't have any tolerance for this "nonsense," as she and her boyfriend Rainbow Dash are atheists, much to Charity's surprise since she thought Applejack was from Missouri, and threatens to call the police if Charity and Twilight don't leave. Surprisingly enough, they get the hint and leave without killing the other two for refusing to convert.
