43: The Little Mystery Author That Could

Raguna catches Lute outside Bianca's house at 8 in the morning. He gets the Lab upgrade he needs, and also indulges in the Chef's Kitchen, the maximum possible upgrade, which also allows him to get the best blenders.

The buzz around town this week is about Selphy and her mystery novel. Since it's a rainy day, everyone's got plenty of time to read it. Selphy must only have given it out to the other girls, though, because no one else seems to have anything to say about it. Raguna is impressed that everyone's so enthralled by it, but Selphy isn't giving out any more copies. Judging by the other girls' reactions, Lara had the most positive feedback about it, as she specifically mentioned that she liked the little sister of the detective in the story.

Upon receiving his new kitchen, Raguna gets in the zone and starts cooking like crazy.

The rain lets up the next day, and just as Selphy did with her craft, Raguna goes and sells off as much of his food as he can. He decides to devote his day to mining for minerals. Even though he's aware that he can't actually upgrade his tools until he finds some gold, he is aware that he can use the seemingly useless scrap iron to raise their level and effectiveness a bit, after some work.

After beating down one of the pink-furred mages in the Lava Ruins, Raguna retrieves the Thick Stick that Kanno was looking for (stop laughing!). Somehow, this dungeon also has Underground Woolies, but they don't seem to be any more powerful than their white, fluffy cousins.

Also, let us congratulate Our Hero, for he has now reached level 40 in general experience. High five?
