Is the SurrealHumor of the show all just a part of his little corner of the [[WorldOfWeirdness Reviewerverse]], or does Caddicarus have a serious mental illness and he's just imagining most of it?

Some others see it as the definite rock bottom when it comes to his main reviews, possibly even beating out the ''VideoGame/{{Ballz}}'' collab review, which also left a BrokenBase on its own. There are also other viewers that see the video more fitting for a ''Current Quickie'' video instead of being part of the main show. It helps that Caddy acknowledges at the end of the video that this particular work was shoddy and of very low quality, simply wanting something out for January.
5	** The ''Do It with Puppicarus'' series quickly fell into this territory at around the same time, with the comments section divided into whether it was a cute sketch show, or a cringy mess. 6	** As one can tell from reading the comments section, opinions are split on Caddy's negative review of the ''WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}}'' [=PS1=] videogame, which is often considered (for example, by WebVideo/JonTron, whose review was even cited in Caddy's video) to be an example of SugarWiki/NoProblemWithLicensedGames. Some agree with him that the game is too difficult, while others say that he was too harsh on the game and that it deserved a slauvage at worst. It should also be noted that some of his criticisms (such as control lag and long load times) do not apply to the PC version of the same game.
7	** As the main show goes on: Are the main ''Caddicarus'' videos still staying consistent or at least raising in quality? Or have they lost their appeal (or outright declined in quality) as newer episodes are pumped out? Look no more than the comment section of his post-''Bubsy'' reviews for the hints of this.
8	** ''Cinemaggots'' is either a breath of fresh air away from video game reviews ''or'' is it a poor version of Caddy trying to review films and at times invoking the BiasSteamroller if certain films doesn't fit his quota. This is ''especially'' apparent if one frequents his Twitter and notices how incredibly blunt he is if a movie doesn't impress him or pushes a BerserkButton towards a younger audience (if his comments about ''WesternAnimation/{{Ferdinand}}'' gave indication). The ''only'' factor everyone approves of is Cerys being involved in the series as a secondary option of the reviews.
9	** One question: [[CausticCritic Has Caddy become more negative in recent years?]] Some fans have noted how incredibly cynical and borderline caustic Caddy has become with his recent videos, in particular with games that tend to fall into the realms of SoOkayItsAverage or something that he's familiar with. 2018 didn't help matters where he'd declare something as being "the worst" and [[SerialEscalation went much more ludicrous]] with videos like ''The NEXT WORST THING EVER!'' (It being the long awaited review of ''[[Creator/DingoPictures Animal Soccer World]]'') and his take on Advent Calendar videos called ''BADVENT CALENDAR!'' where he focused on 25 games he called ''the worst''.
10	*** This particular one has died down a bit in the wake of his videos on ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil2Remake'' and ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII'' as both videos are him gushing about the games; the latter is his ''longest video to date.''
11	** Caddy's two angry videos directed to ''VideoGame/CrashTeamRacingNitroFueled'''s {{Microtransactions}}. Are they justified or not? The Website/YouTube comments mostly agree with him, though a few are either neutral or do not see the problem. Ironically, the ''VideoGame/CrashTeamRacing'' subreddit appears to dislike them, with one of the reasons being that they think Caddy is too childish to make more than one video addressing it (especially with the ThinkOfTheChildren justification). Another reason being that this mechanic will be the norm for the game according to datamine and thus will not go away any time soon, defeating any hopes of Creator/{{Activision}} rethinking about their business decision.
12	** Caddy's constant snark at ''WesternAnimation/PeppaPig'' and by an extent, his constant PapaWolf / ThinkOfTheChildren attitude in many of his videos have slowly grown into this as well. Some find his attacks at ''Peppa Pig'' to be justified, as is his heavy PapaWolf elements due to caring for Cerys's daughters because of it, but some feel the constant snark and videos on ''Peppa Pig'' have overstayed their welcome and his heavy defensive towards children at times invoke the BiasSteamroller for some. 13	** Some feel Caddy really should stop commentating about movies in general, with most fans thinking he tends to act HolierThanThou when it comes to criticizing films (''especially'' when aimed at children) and [[ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontWatch always acting like he knows a film when he doesn't]] and believing he only thinks he's an expert in film ever since the ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndTheCyberChase'' review.
14	** His video on the supposed Platform/PlayStation5 development kit leak has quickly become this. Some believe it is a fun video that exists only pokes fun at the odd design the development kit has, while others believe he was overreacting over something that is non-indicative of the final project. To his credit, Caddy does acknowledge the second point multiple times in the video saying he is aware of that fact and is just commenting on the odd design, however many viewers who fall into the second camp question why he was treating it as though it was a big deal if he was aware of it in the first place.
15	** While Caddy considering everything he made prior to December 2019 to be an OldShame isn't anything controversial on its own, the way he [[BerserkButton acts about the videos]] on streams (particularly ''VideoGame/CrashBash'') whenever people mention how much they like them, as well as his increasingly spiteful {{Take That}}s towards them in his main videos, has some people worried that Caddy might be gatekeeping his ''own'' videos, while others just think that Caddy should be entitled to his opinion and leave it at that. This would somewhat die down after Caddy addressed it during his Behind the Scenes video, acknowledging a lot of people still like his old videos and that he's happy people still enjoy them, even if he no longer does.

17	** The inverse version. A ''Current Quickie'' video gave ''VideoGame/GoneHome'' an 8/10. Fans are not happy at all, as if they think that the "game" deserves severe trashing instead of praise. Some even decided to swear off Caddy's channel simply because of his opinion. Tread the comments section carefully...
18	** Prior to that, Caddy admitted to liking "interactive movie" games like ''VideoGame/HeavyRain''. The backlash isn't as noticeable as the above, but a few fans have called out Caddy for liking something that (debatably) shouldn't be considered a "game" to them.

Namely, he stated not liking ''Franchise/StreetFighter'', thinking ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'' isn't as good as everyone says it is, and admitting to liking around only 12% of ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' games and not liking any of the characters (besides Dr. Eggman).
21	** This goes back as early as the ''Fade to Black'' review. Comments show that most people actually like the game (with some even calling out on him for unfairly panning the game). Also helps that despite its flaws, it's one of the early 3D third-person adventure games. Doesn't help that most critics pan the game as well, landing this game's status more on CultClassic.
22	** An odd case with his ''VideoGame/ShadowMan'' review, as even fans of the game agreed that the [[PortingDisaster PS1 port was a mess]]. However, once the game showed up on the ''BADVENT CALENDAR'' and Caddy expressed no interest in playing the more polished versions, it rubbed them wrong way.

24	** Towards the end of his ''Bratz'' review, [[spoiler:''he shoots a little girl in the head!'']] It's gruesome, shocking and very much in poor taste. What pushes it over the line again? [[spoiler:The little girl was his girlfriend's daughter, who was standing right next to Caddy as he murdered her child! And then he gets her other daughters to destroy the Bratz game like nothing even happened, no one even daring to try to stop him.]] It's just too messed up to not love.
25	** During his "BADVENT Calendar" video, after explaining how much he hates the [=PS1=] game ''Cheesy,'' Caddy talks about how much of an asshole his friend Daz [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments (friend status pending)]] is for giving him the game in the first place. As Caddy says this, a picture of Daz appears...with him sitting in a hospital bed and a tube up his nose.

Their growing resentment over the quality of the games apparently led to them storming the Capitol again in 2021, including images of the ''actual'' storming of the Capitol that took place in January of that year.
