** This goes back as early as the ''Fade to Black'' review. Comments show that most people actually like the game (with some even [[HePannedItNowHeSucks calling out on him for unfairly panning the game]]). Also helps that despite its flaws, it's one of the early 3D third-person adventure games. Doesn't help that most critics pan the game as well, landing this game's status more on CultClassic.

* HePannedItNowHeSucks:
** Caddy's own thoughts on ''[[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime Ocarina of Time]]'' in his "My Top 10 Unpopular Gaming Opinions" got the ire of many fans, ''especially'' when it felt he was blatantly agreeing with [[Creator/{{Egoraptor}} Arin's]] [[WebVideo/{{Sequelitis}} own retrospective on it]]. He even ''admitted'' the video pretty much solidified his thoughts on it.
*** "My Top 10 Unpopular Gaming Opinions" also earned him the hate of the ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' fanbase after he panned everything about the series. However, in his review on ''VideoGame/SonicMania'', he does start to have a soft spot for the franchise and understood the appeal after playing the game.
*** He got as well some hate from the ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' fanbase in that same video.
*** He got also a inverted case (He Didn't Pan It, Now He Sucks) in, again, [[RunningGag the same video]], when he said that he doesn't understand the hate towards mobile gaming.
*** The video's sequel got even MORE hate with its even greater controversial opinions, even some of Caddy's most steadfast fans feel the video is clickbait at best.
** As he himself mentions, he got crucified by Twitter when he mentioned he doesn't like ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndTheCyberChase''.
** Caddy tends to do this ''on his own Twitter'', as seen at the many comments when he bashed the ''Goosebumps'' movie and '''any''' movie done by David F. Sandberg. He arguably does this with any movie he goes to see, immediately condemning them if they don't fit his high standards.
*** He got the ire of fans ''especially'' when he complained about how ''WesternAnimation/Incredibles2'' was gonna essentially erase the events of the game ''VideoGame/TheIncrediblesRiseOfTheUnderminer'', which is a fan favorite.
** Caddy brought this in spades with his mentions of how he didn't like ''Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain'' over its story, with some pointing out how Konami's ExecutiveMeddling is the reason the story became the way it is. This hasn't ''stopped'' him from reminding people how it sucked in his eyes.
** Caddy got ''immense'' flack for his primarily-critical review of ''VideoGame/GodOfWarPS4''. Not helped that the first title of the review was "GOD OF DISAPPOINTMENT" and garnered a ''slew'' of people calling him out on it and Caddy's more or less than stellar response which led to him begrudgingly changing the title to "IS IT REALLY 10/10?". It's even become a sore point for people who watch his show, if his movie comments gave more flack.
** It didn't take long for Caddy to receive some guff for his ''Top ten WORST things in Spyro Reignited Trilogy'', many feeling the list was riddled with nitpicks outside of the game's glitches and some outright calling Caddy a nostalgic contrarian (despite assuring everyone that he loves the remake).
** He caught a lot of flack of Twitter when he criticised ''VideoGame/FallGuys'', specifically its price tag, thinking it isn't worth $20 and would be much better as a FreeToPlay game, because he found it barebones and repetitive, though he stated he enjoyed it with friends and doesn't dislike it, it wasn't enough to extinguish the fire. He did go back on this when the game did go free, however, as revealed in his video on Crash Bandicoot bootlegs.
** He caught some flak in his ''Demonic World of Disney [=PS1=] Games'' for calling ''WesternAnimation/AtlantisTheLostEmpire'', a movie well-known for its status as an underrated Disney classic, [[SoOkayItsAverage "forgettable."]]

** Caddy tends to do this ''on his own Twitter'', as seen at the many comments when he bashed the ''Goosebumps'' movie and '''any''' movie done by David F. Sandberg. He arguably does this with any movie he goes to see, immediately commending them if they don't fit his high standards.

** His video on the supposed UsefulNotes/PlayStation5 development kit leak has quickly become this. Some believe it is a fun video that exists only pokes fun at the odd design the development kit has, while others believe he was overreacting over something that is non-indicative of the final project. To his credit, Caddy does acknowledge the second point multiple times in the video saying he is aware of that fact and is just commenting on the odd design, however many viewers who fall into the second camp question why he was treating it as though it was a big deal if he was aware of it in the first place.

** While Caddy considering everything he made prior to December 2019 to be an {{Old Shame}} isn't anything controversial on its own, the way he [[BerserkButton acts about the videos]] on streams (particularly ''VideoGame/CrashBash'') whenever people mention how much they like them, as well as his increasingly spiteful {{Take That}}s towards them in his main videos, has some people worried that Caddy might be gatekeeping his ''own'' videos, while others just think that Caddy should be entitled to his opinion and leave it at that. This would somewhat die down after Caddy addressed it during his Behind the Scenes video, acknowledging a lot of people still like his old videos and that he's happy people still enjoy them, even if he no longer does.

** ''The Unholy World of Jesus Games'' is loaded with jokes making fun of Literature/TheBible that would be downright blasphemous if they weren’t so hilarious. Of special note is Caddicarus suggesting that UsefulNotes/OsamaBinLaden is Jesus after one of the games quoted Bin Laden on a loading screen.

* HarsherInHindsight:
** He ends his review of the ''Crash Bandicoot'' cartoon by slaughtering it, the gag being that he shoots directly at his screen, therefore destroying his computer and remarking he now needs a new [=PC=]. In early 2021, building a new computer brought him a lot of problems that would culminate with him spending roughly $10,000 on faulty tech and cancelling an episode after accidentally deleting all gameplay footage of it.
** Caddy's praise about ''[[VideoGame/SilentHills P.T.]]'' becomes uncomfortable when Konami removed the game from the PS Store, which in turn later on led up to the cancellation of ''Silent Hills,'' but would eventually be rebirthed into ''VideoGame/DeathStranding''.
** The more positive-leaning review on ''VideoGame/CrashTeamRacingNitroFueled'' became less fun to watch now that {{Microtransactions}} have been added to the game. When Caddy found out about this, he was ''genuinely angry''. As an extension, the "Cash Banooca" RunningGag ended up being used as a joke that Creator/{{Activision}} took the "Cash" part seriously.
** In early 2013, his ''Destruction Derby 2'' review included a joke about the game's violent cover art by commenting how everyone in the car crash on the front cover is dead, bringing up pictures of different characters or people when saying "friends, fathers, etc." The picture he used for "fathers" was James Avery (Uncle Phil from ''Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir''), who died later that same year.
** In his ''VideoGame/Tekken7'' review, Caddy mentioned that Tekken Bowl was rumored to be coming soon as DLC and hoped that the latter wasn't true. The mode did come out but his worries about it being paid turned out to be true.
