Shadar has been killing hundreds of people across the world for some mysterious purpose. Slade becomes determined to stop Shadar, but in the process discovers the truth of the ancient war and the state of the world itself. As he ventures through the world, the conflict between humanity and the divine resurfaces, and he most not only fight Shadar, but the corrupt Arch Duke Deimos, the Demi-Gods led by Apollo, and the now-insane Proteus.
