!!Humans
[[folder:Wang Ai Ling]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wang_ai_ling_official_artwork.png]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/EricaMendez (English), Jiang Sunwei (Mandarin Chinese)

A young Chinese girl who lives in the Huangshan mountains with her older sister. She is Stitch's newest best friend.

Ai's cherished life was seemingly ruined after her parents died, to the point where she didn't speak for two months and didn't smile or laugh (at least, in front of anyone) for a year. It got to the point where her aunt Daiyu was about to take her away from her beloved mountains and into the city to redevelop her into a proper lady. After meeting Stitch, her life turns around, doing things and going on adventures with him in the mountains. During the series, they work together to ward off Daiyu's attempts to move her to the city, prevent either the Jaboodies or the Woolagongs from taking Stitch for themselves, and try to find the shrine that Stitch is looking for.
----
* {{Deuteragonist}}: She's one of the title characters in this series after all.
* DubNameChange: Inverted; her name is Ai Ling in English (which is the original produced version) but her name in Mandarin (which was the first aired version) is ''An'' Ling.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: She's the Foolish Sibling to Jiejie's Responsible Sibling. Ai is a rather impulsive free spirit (much like Lilo) and tends to go off on her own, going as far as skipping school with a girl she just met to see a valley where dreams come to life.
* MeaningfulName: "Ai" means "love" in Chinese, and she is a loving person.
* NiceGirl: She is a caring person who bonds with Stitch rather quickly.
* ParentalAbandonment: Both of her and Jiejie's parents have been dead for at least a year by the events of the series.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Ai is much more similar to Lilo than [[Anime/{{Stitch}} the previous series's]] deuteragonist, as she is a quirky, impulsive, yet kind-hearted orphan who never forgets those she loves.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wang Jiejie]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wang_jiejie.png]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/LauraPost (English), Li Yan (Mandarin Chinese)

Ai's older sister and guardian. She works at a tea shop.

Jiejie has been trying her best to keep things together ever since the deaths of her and Ai's parents, but the tragedy has made things difficult for her and her little sister, which leads to their aunt Daiyu trying to take over responsibilities in raising Ai from her. Despite not wanting Ai out of her life, especially when Daiyu makes it clear that Jiejie won't even be allowed to see Ai ever again, Jiejie's lack of a spine has her mostly going along with her aunt's plans for Ai at first. But when she finds out about Stitch not too long after Ai befriends him and notices how much of a positive impact he's had on her sister, she begins to be more assertive to keep both Ai and Stitch in her life.
----
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: She's the Responsible Sibling to Ai's Foolish Sibling. Jiejie works hard to maintain her and Ai's livelihoods and is concerned for the well-being of her sister, although she's a bit of a pushover.
* GrewASpine: When we first meet her, she argues with Ai in seeming support of Daiyu's plans for the young girl, although Jiejie actually doesn't want to be without Ai in her life. The second episode has her trying to show her aunt that Ai's life is already good in the mountains, but a combination of this and [[ItMakesSenseInContext the aftermath of Stitch's fight with Ai's possessed teacher]] doesn't convince Daiyu. After meeting Stitch and seeing Ai's friendship with him, however, she begins to be more assertive and stand up for her sister, stopping Jumba and Pleakley from taking Stitch away and putting more effort into preventing Daiyu from taking Ai away.
* MeaningfulName: "Jiejie" is Chinese for "sister", which fits her role as Ai's older sister.
* MyNaymeIs: From an English speaker's perspective, her name is pronounced nearly the same as "JJ" ("Jay-Jay").
* ParentalAbandonment: Both of her and Ai's parents have been dead for at least a year by the events of the series.
* PromotedToParent: After her and Ai's parents' deaths, she became Ai's guardian. However, Daiyu was not convinced that she was capable of handling the role and originally intended to take Ai to live with her.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: She serves as this series's version of Nani Pelekai.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wang Daiyu]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/LauraPost (English), Yan Li Xuan (Mandarin Chinese)

Ai and Jiejie's aunt. She wants Ai to move out of the mountains and into the city to develop her young niece into a "proper lady", and she'll try anything to get Ai to do so.
----
* NeatFreak: She hates the dirt-filled mountains and believes them to be infested with germs. It's part of the reason why she wants to move Ai to the "cleaner" city away from the "dirty" mountains. (Like the polluted city air is any better, Daiyu?)
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: {{Subverted|Trope}}. She believes herself to be this for Ai, as she believes that moving her niece to the city would be best for her personal development, much like how Cobra in the original film was doing what he believed was in Lilo's best interest. However, unlike Cobra, Daiyu does not care how much Ai loves living in the mountains, is not all that willing to give Jiejie a chance to show that she can take care of her sister, and is determined to get Ai to move out of the mountains into the city. And despite what she believes, a city is not cleaner than the mountains, since there are things like air pollution.
* TerrifiedOfGerms: She really doesn't like germs, wearing gloves all time (in double layers, no less), spraying sanitizer in several places, telling Stitch-disguised-as-Ai to cough away from her, and freaking out after {{fainting}} when she breathes in the mountain air.

[[folder:Meiying]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/meiying_stitch_and_ai.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:250:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/CheramiLeigh (English), Creator/XantheHuynh (English; in episode 7 "Dragon Parade"),[[note]]Both Leigh and Huynh are credited together as the character's voice in all episodes.[[/note]] TBA (Mandarin Chinese)

Ai's friend and classmate. She's a pampered girl who actually enjoys being around Ai (to an extent), but her family and friends don't really like Ai and prefer that Meiying stay away from her as much as possible, leading to her acting like a rival around her.
----
* {{Foil}}: Unlike Mertle, who is a {{jerkass}} that dominates over her three friends, has a sweet mother, and genuinely hated Lilo, Meiying actually likes being friends with Ai but is pressured by three of her peers as well as her own snobbish mother (and grandmother and aunt) to distance herself from Ai.
* NoFullNameGiven: Her family name is never revealed.
* UnnamedParent: Her mother, grandmother, and aunt; we see them but we never learn their names (or much about them, to be honest).
* SpoiledBrat: She gets pampered heavily by her mother, grandmother, and aunt, though her mother also has her do a lot of studying.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: She serves as this show's version of Mertle Edmonds, although she is not as mean as Mertle is and is somewhat friendlier towards Ai than Mertle was with Lilo.

[[folder:Qian Dahu]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dahu_stitch_&_ai.jpg]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/LucienDodge (English), TBA (Mandarin Chinese)

Jiejie's boyfriend, as well as Ai's drum instructor.
----
* CompositeCharacter: He's basically a Chinese combination of David Kawena (a young, attractive guy who is the boyfriend of the deuteragonist/human protagonist's older sister) and Moses Puloki (the deuteragonist/human protagonist's teacher of a traditional practice in their local region, with Chinese drums taking the place of hula).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Sage]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/LucienDodge (English), TBA (Mandarin Chinese)

He's a wise yet mysterious sage who sometimes appears to Stitch and Ai in their adventures. He also gives them and Jumba ancient scrolls detail various mythological Chinese creatures, which the latter uses to make such.
----
* NoNameGiven: He's just known as a sage who tends to speak in a cryptic manner, and whatever his name is, it's likely that he might not tell anyone.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Mr. Ding]]
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/RichardEpcar (English), TBA (Mandarin Chinese)

Jiejie's employer who runs a tea shop.
----
* NoFullNameGiven: Only his surname is known.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bao]]
->'''Voiced by''': TBA (English), TBA (Mandarin Chinese)

Ai's cousin from the city. Daiyu brings him in hopes that he would convince Ai how much better the city is. He is introduced in "The Phoenix" and also appears in "Nuo Opera".
----
* NoFullNameGiven: While he is Ai's cousin, we don't know for sure if he has the same surname as her.
[[/folder]]

!!Aliens
[[folder:The Jaboodies]]
->'''Commander Wombat (their leader) voiced by''': Creator/RichardEpcar

A warring faction of reptilian-like aliens who want to use Stitch for their evil deeds. They are at war with the Woolagongs and were the ones who hacked the data that revealed [[spoiler:Stitch's metamorphosis program]] and initially captured him.
----
* AliensSpeakingEnglish: Being an alien race in the ''Franchise/LiloAndStitch'' universe, this trope applies to them.
* BigBadEnsemble: They share this role with the Woolagongs, although they seem to be the greater threat considering that they hacked into the files that revealed [[spoiler:Stitch's metamorphosis program]], captured Stitch first, and [[spoiler:trigger Stitch's metamorphosis program, nearly getting him to fight for them when they invade Earth in the final episode]].
* EvilVsEvil: They are in a deadlocked space war with the Woolagongs for intergalactic domination.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Woolagongs]]
->'''Platypus (their leader) voiced by''': Creator/LucienDodge

A warring faction of platypus-like aliens who also want to use Stitch for their nefarious purposes. They are at war with the Jaboodies and were the ones who stole the stolen data from the Jaboodies and accidentally broke the captive Stitch out trying to get him for themselves.
----
* AliensSpeakingEnglish: Also being an alien race in the ''Franchise/LiloAndStitch'' universe, this trope also applies to them.
* BigBadEnsemble: They share this role with the Jaboodies, although they seem to be the lesser threat as Stitch is slightly more concerned with the Jaboodies. It doesn't help that they stole the stolen data from the Jaboodies rather than directly from the United Galactic Federation's or Jumba's servers, ended up being the ones to free Stitch from his capture by attacking the Jaboodies, and that they don't even show up for most of the last six episodes, not even during the final battle in the last episode.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: The Woolagongs lose a ''lot'' of focus by the second half of the show. After "Dragon Parade", they don't appear again until "Dream On", where they just send an incompetent agent to try to capture Stitch and then vanish for the rest of the series. It makes one wonder why they were even a threat in the first place.
* EvilVsEvil: They are in a deadlocked space war with the Jaboodies for intergalactic domination.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: When they attempted to steal the captive Stitch from the Jaboodies, they ended up freeing him. This enabled him to fight back against both factions and escape back to Earth, kickstarting the show.

[[folder:Dim Long]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dim_long_of_stitch_&_ai.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
An orange dragon-like alien experiment Jumba creates off-screen between "Spirals" and "The Lock", debuting in the latter. He is designed as a beta test for future experiments to harness the power of ''qi'' so they can fly without wings. He becomes the only recurring experiment other than Stitch in this show, serving as the main aliens' pet, and he does not get sent to Jumba's pocket dimension introduced in this series.
----
* DelightfulDragon: An Eastern dragon-like experiment who is small, cute, friendly, and is no threat to anyone.
* FlawedPrototype: He was designed to be a beta test of the use of ''qi'' for flight so that Jumba could use it in future experiments. {{Downplayed|Trope}} in that he is a success, since he does the one thing he was designed to do, but he is a bit clumsy in his flying.
* NoNameGiven: {{Inverted|Trope}}; out of all of Jumba's Chinese experiments, he is the only one to be given a proper name. Makes sense considering he's also the only one who is not meant to be a recreation of a specific mythical Chinese creature, only being based on Chinese dragons in general.
* SatelliteCharacter: Much like with [=BooGoo=] from ''Stitch!'', he's really just there to serve as a cute pet for the main cast. He does play a minor role in "Dragon Parade", though, but that's about it.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Noo-Bing and Zi]]
->'''Voiced by''': Unknown

Two alien bounty hunters who appear to try to capture the Fenghuang to sell to creature collectors in episode 9 ("The Phoenix"). Noo-Bing is a small, grey, four-armed, legless alien and the brains of the duo, while Zi is a large, tan, muscular, orcish alien who is the brawn. Noo-Bing resides in a special shoulder strap compartment on Zi's chest plate.
----
* BigGuyLittleGuy: Zi is the big guy who carries the little guy Nubing in a compartment on his chest plate.
* BrainsAndBrawn: Noo-Bing is the brains guiding the brawn Zi to capture rare creatures to sell.
* OneShotCharacter: They only appear in "The Phoenix" and are inconsequential to the overall plot of the series.
* TheUnintelligible: Zi can only communicate with growling noises.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Skippity]]
->'''Voiced by''': Unknown

An alien spy for the Woolagongs who appears in episode 10 ("Dream On"). He has designed a "dream beam" that was meant to incapacitate Stitch by having his bad dreams come to life, making him easier to capture, but he ends up zapping Ai instead.
----
* HeelFaceTurn: After he was captured by Stitch and helped him, Jumba, Pleakley, and Jumba's ''mo'' find Ai, Skippity joins the ''mo'' to enter Jumba's parallel dimension where his recreated mythological creatures live. (As it turns out, Skippity loves animals.)
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: He's clumsy and not very sly. In fact, he misses his shot on Stitch, later gets ''caught'' by Stitch, and is easily convinced to be on Stitch's side afterward.
* RhymesOnADime: He rhymes when he brags about himself.
* OneShotCharacter: He only appears in "Dream On", which ends with him entering and staying in Jumba's parallel world of mythological creatures, never to be seen again.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kolliba]]%%Assumed spelling based on a Website/YouTube video title.
->'''Voiced by''': Unknown

An evil alien scientist working for the Jaboodies. He appears in the final two episodes of the show.
----
* AlwaysSecondBest: Jumba claims that Kolliba was an underachiever at the science academy they went to and he used Jumba's tests to cheat, even failing his final exams.
* EvilGenius: While second-rate compared to Jumba, he's still smart enough to make a program that helped to trick Stitch into [[spoiler:triggering his metamorphosis program]].
* MadScientist: He's the Jaboodies' scientist and does evil on their behalf.
* RememberTheNewGuy: Turns out in "Monstrosity" that he and Jumba were classmates at a science academy (presumably Evil Genius University).
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Scratch]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scratch_of_stitch_&_ai.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:[[superscript:To see [[spoiler:Scratch's enlarged form]],]] [[labelnote:click here.]]\
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/scratchs_enlarged_form.png[[/labelnote]]]]
A teal-furred alien who is introduced in episode 12 ("Brothers"). He spawned from a strange tetrahedron-shaped device sent to Stitch and Ai called a "Tetra-Tab" after Stitch wishes for a brother. [[spoiler:The alien was sent by the Jaboodies to trigger Stitch's metamorphosis program in order to use his giant destruction form against the Woolagongs.]]
----
* AliensSpeakingEnglish: {{Averted|Trope}}, despite coming from [[spoiler:the English-speaking Jaboodies]]. He only ever grunts, growls, hisses, roars, and laughs.
* BlackEyesOfEvil: He has black eyes like [[spoiler:actual]] genetic experiments do and [[spoiler:is working on behalf of the Jaboodies to manipulate Stitch]].
* TheCorrupter: [[spoiler:He is deliberately manipulating Stitch in order to trick him into triggering his metamorphosis program that unleashes his giant destructive form. He does so by showing Stitch how much "fun" destroying things like buildings is. His manipulation of Stitch succeeds until Ai breaks through to the real, kind-hearted Stitch.]]
* EarNotch: He has ''six'', three each on the outer rims of his ears, reflecting how more radical he is compared to Stitch.
* EvilCounterpart: To Stitch in the same vein as Experiment 627 in ''WesternAnimation/LiloAndStitchTheSeries'' and the ''Stitch!'' anime, and Leroy in ''WesternAnimation/LeroyAndStitch''.
* EvilDoppelganger: Sort of as he looks like a radicalized version of Stitch. [[spoiler:This isn't his true form, however.]]
* MeaningfulName: His name is the opposite of Stitch's name. Whereas a "stitch" brings things together, a "scratch" tears things apart.
* RetGone: [[spoiler:After the Jaboodies are defeated, Pleakley throws the Tetra-Tab on the ground and Jumba's nian crushes it. Its destruction seemingly causes Scratch to glitch out of existence.]]
* {{Shapeshifting}}: [[spoiler:He is ''not'' a genetic experiment; he is a morph creature who is among the Jaboodies and can change his appearance at will.]]
