Jiejie has been trying her best to keep things together ever since her and Ai's parents died, but the tragedy has made things difficult for her and her little sister, which leads to their aunt Daiyu trying to take over responsibilities in raising Ai from her. Despite not wanting Ai out of her life, especially when Daiyu makes it clear that Jiejie won't even be allowed to see Ai ever again, Jiejie's lack of a spine has her mostly going along with her aunt's plans for Ai at first. But when she finds out about Stitch not too long after Ai befriends him and notices how much of a positive impact he's had on her sister, she begins to be more assertive to keep both Ai and Stitch in her life.

Ai and Jiejie's aunt. She wants Ai to move out of the mountains and into the city to develop her into a "proper lady", and she'll try anything to get her young niece to do so.

Nubing is a small, grey, four-armed, legless alien and the brains of the duo, while Z is a large, tan, muscular, orcish alien who is the brawn. Nubing resides in a special shoulder strap compartment on Z's chest plate.

She believes herself to be this for Ai, as she believes that moving her niece to the city would be best for her personal development, much like how Cobra in the original film was doing what he believed was in Lilo's best interest. However, unlike Cobra, Daiyu does not care how much Ai loves living in the mountains, is not all that willing to give Jiejie a chance to show that she can take care of her sister, and is determined to get Ai to move out of the mountains into the city. And she's also wrong about the city being cleaner than the mountains.

* BigBadEnsemble: They share this role with the Jaboodies, although they seem to be the lesser threat as Stitch is slightly more concerned with the Jaboodies. It doesn't help that they stole the stolen data from the Jaboodies rather than directly from the United Galactic Federation's or Jumba's servers, ended up being the ones to free Stitch from his capture by attacking the Jaboodies, and that they don't even show up in the final battle in the last episode.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: The Woolagongs lose a ''lot'' of focus by the second half of the show. After "Dragon Parade", they don't appear again until "Dream On", where they just send an incompetent agent to try to capture Stitch and then vanish for the rest of the series. It makes one wonder why they were even important in the first place.

* NoNameGiven: {{Inverted|Trope}}; out of all of Jumba's Chinese experiments, he is the only one to be given a proper name. Makes sense considering he's also the only one who is not meant to be a recreation of a mythical Chinese creature, only being based on Chinese dragons.
