[[folder:Beatrice Haywood]]
Penny's younger sister, and also a Hufflepuff.
----
* BreakTheCutie: [[spoiler:Spent most of her first year trapped in a portrait, and then most of her second year trying to cope with the trauma and fending off an overprotective Penny.]]
* {{Foil}}: [[spoiler:Introduced at first as a "Mini-Penny", but in year 6 her personality shifts drastically after her ordeal with the portrait curse; Penny is affectionate, optimistic, sometimes worrisome, while Beatrice become standoffish, pessimistic, and a daredevil. They also have a bit of a TomboyAndGirlyGirl contrast going on.]]
* HeroWorship: She's introduced by Penny as a huge fan of the Player Character's accomplishments, wanting to be a part of their adventures. Penny is less than a little thrilled about the idea.
* HypocriticalHeartwarming: [[spoiler:Beatrice says some rather hurtful things towards Penny in year 6, but when Ismelda mocks Penny crying a lot over Rowan's death, Beatrice snaps at her and defends Penny.]]
* MeaningfulName: "Beatrice" means "bringer of joy", who she was at first but quickly became [[IronicName ironic]].
* PrecociousCrush: Has a bit of a one on Jae Kim, who she sees as the ultimate 'bad boy'. On other hand, Jae isn't really sure what to think of it, but thinks the 'kid' is way in over her head, even telling her that dodgy types in Knockturn Alley are not the same as the Dark Wizards from R.
* TakeCareOfTheKids: [[spoiler:When she's left trapped in one of the paintings in the Grand Staircase,]] Beatrice begs the Player Character to [[LittleSisterInstinct take care of Penny for her]].
* TroubledTeen: [[spoiler:In year 6, she started skipping classes, fought with Penny many times and [[IWishedYouWereDead said she wished Penny would just disappear]], failed to make friends since she spent most of her first year trapped in a portrait, hung out with the bad crowd (read: [[TeensAreMonsters Ismelda]]), crushed on sixth-year shady dealer Jae, and had tons of unresolved trauma from her ordeal that got so bad at one point when she was found floating unconscious in the lake by MC and Jacob, she's MistakenForSuicidal to some players.]]
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Alanza Alves]]
An exchange student from the Brazilian wizarding school Castelobruxo.
----
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Creatures both mundane and fantastic love her and are loved in return, even [[CatsAreMean Mrs. Norris]]. You even have to lure the band of Bowtruckle clinging to her off with food.
* GratuitousForeignLanguage: Adds bits of Portugese to her speech.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Is a bit too cheerful for the main cast [[spoiler:when she arrived soon after Rowan's death. She also unknowingly sits in Rowan's seat, prompting MC to sadly say "No, it's not taken. Not anymore."]]
* ThePollyanna: She's so endlessly cheerful she makes Penny look like Moaning Myrtle [[spoiler:(not that it is particularly hard after [[CerebusSyndrome year 5]]...).]]
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Wilfred Levi Kidd]]
A Gryffindor who, until much, ''much'' later (as in July of 2021 in real time, sixth year in the game's setting) was only ever known as "''Leviosa'' Kid", because he struggled with performing ''Wingardium Leviosa'' and received in-class tutoring from the PC. Eager to prove his worth, he asks for help in becoming a Curse-Breaker.
----
* AscendedExtra: He was originally just a nameless NPC. He gradually started being included in classroom activities, and then he got his own sidequest in 2021, complete with being given a name and official friend status.
* ButtMonkey: Nobody except the player could be bothered to learn or remember his name... and even the the Player Character required a sidequest to pull it off. All they knew about him was that he sucked at spellcasting.
* CharacterDevelopment: He is terrible at Charms and suffered the most from being unable to cast Wingardium Leviosa, one of the simplest spells, even as a sixth year. Through his side quest, he ends up mastering the spell and now eyes a career in Curse-breaking.
* HiddenDepths: While he may struggle with the magical side of things, during his sidequest, he proves to be proficient in solving riddles of the Sphinx.
* MiddleNameBasis: He asks to be addressed as "Levi" as Wilfred is also his father's name.
* NeverLiveItDown: It's not just the game's fans that call him "''Leviosa'' Kid".
* PunnyName: And ''how''. Not only does he share [[SignificantMonogram his initials]] with "''Wingardium Leviosa'' Kid", but "Levi" and "Kidd" straight up refer to it. His parents must have known something about his future at Hogwarts.
[[/folder]]

[[header:Antagonists: R]]
The mysterious organization who have an interest in the Cursed Vaults, but their motivations are unknown.
[[folder:"General Tropes"]]
* AndYourLittleDogToo: For much of Year 5, 'R' tries to claim the life of one of the Player's innocent friends who are not as involved in the plot as the Player is. They manage to thwart it in Year 5, but 'R' makes good on their promise and through Rakepick, murders Rowan.
* TheChessmaster: Seemed to have been manipulating events from all the way back during Jacob's school days.
* GreaterScopeVillain: While you come across several enemies along the way, human and otherwise, R is actively hindering your progress from the outside, even going so far as to use surrogates to try and assassinate you; later even trying to kidnap you. Who (or what) 'R' actually is and what their goals are seem to be the main thrust of the Mystery. All that is known about 'R' is it's some nefarious group known as the "Cabal" that is trying to open the Cursed Vaults to acquire some unknown treasure (that was never there) and that they seem value enlightenment and immortality.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: The only clue you have as to the identity of the group is through letters they have written, and signed only as "-R."
* WeCanRuleTogether: Seem very motivated into recruiting the player into the fold and making them their future leader, even resorting to attempted kidnapping. Jacob was also unwittingly a candidate to the cabal and Merula actually ''joined them''.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Patricia Rakepick]]
A world famous Curse-Breaker and former pupil of Dumbledore's who he employs in solving the mysteries regarding the Cursed Vaults during Year 4. As a former student at Hogwarts, Patricia was remembered by Dumbledore as an exceptional student who always got in trouble but remained the top of her class. Much like Jacob, Patricia was a firm believer during her time at school that the Cursed Vaults existed, but her warnings were unheeded by the faculty.
----
* TheAce: Patricia is a world famous curse breaker and was one of the best students during her time at Hogwarts.
* AxCrazy: [[spoiler: Let's just say that trying to kill Merula via prolonged use of the Cruciatus Curse is just one thing out of a worryingly long list of disturbing incidents that show how much of a disturbed, psychotic individual she is.]]
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Much like Ben at the time, Patricia's true nature has been under question. After her introduction, her reason for investigating the cursed vaults was widely unclear; was she in it for the glory, was there some ulterior motive, or was she simply doing her job? Aside from her immense confidence in her own abilities, Patricia was proven to be very smug and even cunning for a Gryffindor, having baited the player character into breaking into Filch's for a wild goosechase, only to swoop in and retrieve something herself had been looking for. Even after Patricia ends up serving as a mentor for the PlayerCharacter, teaching them several new charms and saving them from the mysterious cloaked wizard [[spoiler:who turned out to be Ben Copper]], several of the cast members are still slow to trust her. Patricia even goes as far as to [[spoiler:break the player character's wand]] and confiscate the Maurader's map. Whether she was doing all this to keep the Player Character safe or to simply keep them from interfering is up to debate. [[spoiler:Ceases to be ambiguous when she murders Rowan in Year 6.]]
* AndIMustScream: Quite literally. A possible fate if [[spoiler:the Player traps her in the Sunken Vault for all of eternity, doomed to suffer her worst memories over and over in a horrifying loop until she likely dies of dehydration or starvation.]]
* BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler: She acts nice and polite, but the key word here is ''acts''.]]
* BewareTheNiceOnes: While Patricia is very polite, understanding and approachable, many characters have warned the PlayerCharacter to not cross her. [[spoiler: The nice part is dropped altogether by the end of Year 5'.]]
* BigDamnHeroes: Is quick to save the Player and their friends from the robed figure.
** [[spoiler: Does it again when the Player and either Jae, Bill, or Merula get surrounded by Dark Wizards in Knockturn Alley.]]
** [[spoiler: It's revealed even later in a letter Jacob wrote that she saved Jacob's life while he was a student at Hogwarts and saved the player character's life even before they started at Hogwarts from a group known as the "Cabal"]].
* DoomedByCanon:
** Revealed at the end of Year 4 that [[spoiler: she will be the next Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. The position is still cursed at this point, so she predictably does not last more than one year in the job.]]
* EvilRedhead: Not necessarily "Evil", but most definitely devious. Rakepick encourages other students to deal with their rivals through ruthless manners and not be held back by rules and regulations.
* {{Foil}}: To Jacob. Both of them strongly believed in the existence of the Cursed Vaults during their time in Hogwarts. But while Patricia's claims and questions were left unanswered, Jacob took it upon himself to investigate the Cursed Vaults, which led to him getting expelled from Hogwarts.
** She is also like this to Jacob's Sibling in this regard. Snape has claimed both of them had bad reputations as students and were known to break the rules. Hagrid also noted that while she always got into trouble as a student, she was always on top of her class.
* KickTheDog: [[spoiler:Take a stand and challenge her in year 5 and she breaks your wand in response.]] [[spoiler: [[PetTheDog However, she does take you down to Ollivander's to get a new, more powerful wand]] almost immediately afterwards.]]
* KnightOfCerebus: With her arrival, the curses of the vaults become more dangerous and personal. [[spoiler:Beatrice, someone MC personally knows, is trapped indefinitely in it until the portrait curse is broken. And then came Rakepick's betrayal and murder of Rowan, both sending a lot of characters into PTSD territory.]]
* LaserGuidedKarma: If the Player chose to [[spoiler:trap her in the Sunken Vault forever. She got dealt the same hand she had dealt to Jacob when she left him in the Buried Vault for eight years]]. Even if they don't, she gets to [[spoiler:suffer a much more painful fate than Jacob did in the form of Azkaban's Dementors]]. Rakepick got what she deserved, and then some.
* LightIsNotGood: "Patricia" means "noble" and she is capable of casting a lioness Patronus.
* TheMentor: During her stay at Hogwarts, she begins private tutoring lessons for the Player Character, their friends and Merula's gang. She also teaches the player such spells as Protego, Bombarda and Confringo. [[spoiler:By the end of year 4, Patricia accepts the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, in which she could offer the player character protection and more freedom during their search for the next vault in their oncoming year.]]
** [[spoiler: Jacob has said that Rakepick had been one to him as well, having taught him various spells and even how to do Wandless Magic.]]
* PetTheDog: Despite her displeasure in the Player Character's investigation of her, she acknowledges their talent and proposes that they become her side-kick in the oncoming investigation. Though, its likely that much of these moments were just 'acting'.
** Even should the player decline her offer, she takes no offence and wishes them the best of luck with their personal search.
** She also assists the player in learning new spells and charms to aid in the search for their sibling and wishes them luck.
** [[spoiler: After the PlayerCharacter is overwhelmed by the cloaked figure,]] Patricia arrives just in time to save them.
** The player meets and duels [[spoiler:Peter Pettigrew]], though their memories of what happened were quickly obliviated. They were stunned by the spell and Rakepick seemed actually concerned for their wellbeing.
** [[spoiler: After destroying the Player's wand, she takes them directly to Ollivander's to get them a new one.]]
** [[spoiler: In a much darker example, despite having the player, Merula and Ben dead to rights after killing Rowan (though the intent was to kill Ben), she simply declares the life debt of the player to be paid and leaves.]]
* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: [[spoiler: When she finds the player, Merula and Ben surrounded by Dementors in Year 6, she sends them away with a Patronus before attacking the group herself.]]
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Kazuhiro Shiratori]]
A white robed Wizard from the Japanese Wizarding School of Mahoukotoro and part of "R".
----
* LightIsNotGood: Wears white robes, but is definitely not a good guy. The reason why his robes are white in the first place is because he was expelled from Mahoukotoro and his robes turned from black to white as a result.
* TheReveal: He is the Dark Wizard that attacked the Player at the Lakeshore. It was thought to be an assassination attempt, but it was [[spoiler:actually a kidnapping attempt. He had wanted to take the Player with them to join 'R' and told them that they were going to be their leader someday.]]
* WouldHurtAChild: Strikes the Player with a painful nonverbal spell despite them only being a young teen and him being an experienced adult.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Verucca Buckthorn-Snyde]]
An older Dark Witch and a high ranking member of "R".
----
* TheChessmaster: As a high-ranking member she is this by default. Though judging by how she treated Rakepick (she had made her think that she was ''much'' more important to the group than she really was).
* DeathGlare: Gave one to the Player in their seventh year after crashing a meeting her and Zenith Xeep.
* EvilAunt: She's Merula's, and even forced her to perform an Unbreakable Vow to maintain her loyalty.
* TheReveal: She was using a basic Dark Witch disguise at first, but revealed her true form in front of Merula (and the Player in hiding).
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: The Player and Mad-Eye Moody figure out that she's metamorphagus after she seamlessly infiltrated the Ministry.
[[/folder]]

[[header:Quidditch Players]]
[[folder:Skye Parkin]]
A young witch whose house matches the player's. She's renowned as an ace Chaser and from a prominent Quidditch family, but she's not the best academically.
----
* BookDumb: She willingly pursues Quidditch instead of her studies, thanks to her family history with the sport, and her grades are suffering as a result. She doesn't even take your tutoring session seriously.
* {{Catchphrase}}: When something excites her, she will most likely exclaim "Smashing!".
* CripplingOverspecialization: She’s an incredibly talented Quidditch player and gives the sport everything, leaving no room for anything else. As a result, she struggles academically and can be socially awkward.
* CripplingTheCompetition: [[spoiler:Skye is hit by a Bludger hard enough to require treatment that benches her for the final House Cup match; she believes it was intentional on Erika's part. Subverted when it truly turned out to be an accident.]]
* {{Hypocrite}}: Calls out Orion and Murphy for attempting to influence MC's decision in the first match, despite she did the same thing.
* ItsAllAboutMe: She can come across this way because she's so eager to carry on the Parkin name (see below). At one point, the player character has the option to tell her, "Not everything is about you."
* TheMentor: She becomes this to the PlayerCharacter, trying to help him/her earn a spot in the Quidditch team.
* NeverMyFault: Every problem she has with Erika is Erika's fault. [[spoiler:She doesn't see any problem with spreading false rumors about Erika stealing the Comet broom she promised the player, and she's convinced Erika hit her with a Bludger on purpose.]]
* PassionateSportsgirl: She hails from a long line of Quidditch legends and fully intends to keep up with the family traditions.
* WellDoneDaughterGirl: She craves adulation from her famous father, but the game hints that she's not entirely content being only a sports star or about him seeming only to care about her for her skills.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Erika Rath]]
A Ravenclaw (or Slytherin if the player is in Ravenclaw) witch. She plays as a Beater in Quidditch and is known for her aggression during matches.
----
* AchillesHeel: [[spoiler:With help from Face Paint Kid, Murphy deduces that she has a large blind spot and plots a strategy to take advantage of it. It may also be responsible for her infamous past Bludger attacks, but this has yet to be proven.]]
* DoesNotKnowHerOwnStrength: Training with Erika reveals that she never means to intentionally hurt others. When she swings, she swings ''hard''.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: She is introduced walking past the player character, knocking them over without even seemingly noticing or saying anything.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's difficult to approach, but interactions show that it's probably a case of being frustrated with all the rumors surrounding her; talk to her as an equal and she is quite sincere in her gratitude.
* NotEvilJustMisunderstood: Her aggression is treated early on as just being her prickly personality in full display. As her sidequest shows, she is just ''very'' serious about the sport and doesn't accept impromptu flights of fantasy regarding it. Her AchillesHeel does her no favours, since it just serves to reconfirm the rumors about her.
* TheQuietOne: The first two times Erika interacts with the player character consist of complete silence from her, just studying from afar. They decide that she's trying to get under their skin. Later interactions show Erika as curt and very direct, not speaking unless she has to.
* WorthyOpponent: As time and Quidditch go on, Erika subtly but steadily starts to warm up to the player, and a timed sidequest in summer 2020 allowed the PC to train their Bludger skills with her. If you willingly share the tactic of throwing another player the Beater's bat, she is impressed that you chose to level the playing field.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Murphy [=McNully=]]]
A student in a wheelchair who provides the commentary for Quidditch matches, as he wants to become a professional upon graduation. His house also matches the player's.
----
* InspirationallyDisadvantaged: Averted so far. His disability influences some interactions; as noted below, he's not an option when you play Gobstones, for instance[[labelnote:*]]The [[WatsonianVsDoylist Watsonian reason]] is that he prefers wizard chess, while the [[WatsonianVsDoylist Doylist reason]] is simply because getting from wheelchair to cross-legged on the ground is virtually impossible.[[/labelnote]]. That said, he rarely brings up his disability, and the other characters seem to accept him as a regular guy.
* LastNameBasis: As he says, it's how he identifies someone as a friend; he asks them to call him by his last name.
* MotorMouth: It makes him spectacular at commentating on games, but it also makes him quite difficult to talk to, as he won't let the player get a word in, and even makes them look rude by just walking away as Murphy's still talking.
* NonActionGuy: His disability prevents him from actually playing the game, but he's okay with that; becoming a Quidditch commentator is his dream.
* RunningGag: A visual one: every time his MotorMouth tendencies take over (pretty much every speech of more than two sentences), the game camera will begin a slow {{Zoom}} towards him.
* VerbalTic: He assigns ''everything'' a percentage chance of happening or being true. He doesn't even stand behind them, often changing the number upon hearing the player's bewilderment.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Orion Amari]]
The captain of the player house's Quidditch team. Impressing him is key to joining the team.
----
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He almost comes across as a hippie, with his airy, "mysterious" way of speaking.
* ContrastingReplacementCharacter: Albeit a prequel character, to [[Characters/HarryPotterGryffindor Oliver Wood]]. Oliver is energetic and obsessive with Quidditch, while Orion is chill and laidback.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: It turns out that his freeform "hippie" ways stem from [[spoiler: living his entire life as a homeless orphan. He had to adapt as a child to a completely unstructured life just to survive.]]
* WaxOnWaxOff: He often makes Quidditch players perform odd tasks, like balanced one-legged on their brooms, in order to train their focus away from distractions.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Other teammates]]
----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: One of the Beaters has a darker skintone than the others (except for the Seeker, see below).
* CompanionCube: The short-haired Beater talks to her bat.
* DumbJock: Like Skye, the short-haired Beater is academically challenged.
* NominalImportance: Other than Orion and Skye, both Chasers, with you joining the team as the third Chaser, all the other teammates are simply named "Keeper", "Beater", and "Seeker", with much less characterisation. [[spoiler:The short-haired Beater finally had her surname revealed, "Bean", when she was suspended. [[LampshadeHanging Skye thought]] her last name was [[EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep Beater]].]]
* PassionateSportsgirl: Interestingly, other than Orion (and MC who can be either gender), the Keeper is the only other guy, with four girls to the team, and they are quite enthusiastic about it - the Keeper was the only one to be tired after the first match before they're called to practice again.
* PintsizedPowerhouse: Both Beaters are female, which is rare due to the position's demands on strength, but they aren't as huge as Erika is.
** After the final match in season 1, [[spoiler:in the celebration for winning the Quidditch Cup, the Keeper jumps on the long-haired Beater's shoulders. Both Beaters also lift and empty an entire barrel of presumably butterbeer on top of Orion after sneaking up behind him.]]
* PutOnABus: One of the Chasers was injured at the beginning of season 1, allowing MC to take their place. TheBusCameBack at the end of season 1, but apparently they were away so long the writers forgot who they are supposed to be. [[note]]It is not actually certain how they are supposed to look like. There is a Slytherin witch playthrough where that Chaser was a pale girl with long, light brown hair, and a Ravenclaw wizard playthrough where that Chaser was a pale boy with short, light brown hair. However, both ended up with a dark-skinned boy with black hair at the end of the season, and then he turned pale in saeson 2![[/note]]
* TheRival: The Beaters are particularly fixated on Erika Rath, the opposing Beater, and every other line they say mentions her.
* TokenMinority: The Seeker is a black girl with cornrows and shades of SassyBlackWoman.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: The Seeker is apparently afraid of gnomes.
[[/folder]]

[[header:Other Students]]
[[folder:The House Prefects]]
The four students (one from each House) who are assigned as Prefects. The player character will interact with the Prefect of their House during their first few years at Hogwarts.

They are Angelica Cole of Gryffindor, Jane Court of Hufflepuff, Chester Davies of Ravenclaw, and Felix Rosier of Slytherin.
----
* AscendedMeme: The fandom's suspicion about Jane Court gets some play in Year 5. [[spoiler: During a gathering of former Prefects, she mentions that she just got ''released from Azkaban''.]]
* BigBrotherInstinct: Can come off like this at times. They do genuinely care for the PC, even if they have a strange way of showing it.
* CompositeCharacter: An in-universe example. All four prefects have the exact same dialogue and role in the story, with very little differentiating them from the other.
* ContinueYourMissionDammit: No matter how what's going on at Hogwarts, your prefect will always be on your back about getting enough house points to win the house cup.
* GenderEqualEnsemble: Felix and Chester being the boys, Angelica and Jane being the girls
* {{Jerkass}}: They will get on your case about house points all throughout your first few years, giving off a general air of this. [[spoiler: In your second year, should the PC not have a high enough attribute level to volunteer for a plan that pertains to your house, the prefect will snap at you, asking why you were ever sorted into the house in the first place]]
* MythologyGag: Chester Davies shares the same last name with Roger Davies, who was the captain of the Ravenclaw Quiddich team when Harry was attending Hogwarts. If you're in Ravenclaw, during a sidequest in the 3rd year, Chester will explicitly tell you to keep an eye out for his younger brother Roger.
** Similarly, Felix Rosier shares a surname with Evan Rosier, a Death Eater who was at school with the Marauders, and another older Death Eater who attended school with Voldemort. Overheard conversation in the Three Broomsticks suggests that Felix's father was a Death Eater, which makes him (most likely) the son of Voldemort's classmate and the younger brother of Evan Rosier.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Face Paint Kid]]
A Quidditch superfan who always shows his team colours via face paint. He is in the same house as the Player.
----
* CharacterWitness: [[spoiler:He turns out to be the one who saw Erika's "attack" on Skye, or rather, the fact that it truly was an accident.]]
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: He's a kid who constantly wears face paint. He also prefers being called "Face Paint Kid" rather than his unspecified real name.
* SportsWidow: To the point of parody. He ''only'' comes up in Quidditch-centric quests, nobody knows his true name, and he's constantly wearing the player house's colours.
** He does, however, finally appear in the Festival event, which while not specifically Quidditch-related, does take place on the Quidditch Pitch.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Emily Tyler]]
A Gryffindor in Bill's year whom he develops a crush on. She is popular, but is arrogant and scornful towards others.
----
* AlphaBitch: Easily her most identifiable feature and the biggest example in the entire game.
* BeautyIsBad: Emily may very well be beautiful, but her personality is anything but.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Bill's swooning over her prior to her introduction sets her up as this. Once you finally meet her, though, she makes no attempts to hide her true nature.
* EvilCounterpart: To Penny, although "evil" is a bit of an exaggeration. Both of them are some of the most popular girls in their houses. However while Penny earns her popularity through her [[NiceGirl kindness to others]], Emily [[AlphaBitch looks down on those she considers beneath her]].
* GoldDigger: PlayedWith. While Emily is never explicitly shown to be dating anyone, it's strongly implied that Emily measures a person's value based entirely on their social status in the Wizarding world, seeing how she was quick to mock Bill's affections for her due to his family's low socio-economic status.
* {{Jerkass}}: Emily is a haughty and contemptuous girl to put things bluntly, and has an extremely high opinion of herself.
* KickTheDog: Two so far.
** Laughing at the notion of Bill having feelings for her.
** Reading Ismelda Murk's diary in front of an entire crowd just because [[DisproportionateRetribution she bumped into her]].
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: She indirectly gives one to Bill when she learns about his feelings for her, only to immediately [[ShutUpHannibal receive the same treatment from the Player character.]] Needless to say, she's at a loss for words.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cecil Lee]]
A British wizard under the employ of the Ministry of Magic's "Werewolf Capture Unit" who would much rather see them outright ''destroyed''. You first meet him during the Hallowe'en event Packmates, having been sent to deal with the escaped Fenrir Greyback.
----
* BadLiar: His attempts at lying run the gamut between "blindingly obvious" and "being contradicted one sentence later".
* CluelessDetective: Despite being a member of the Werewolf Capture Unit, Cecil proves to be utterly incompetent with his job.
* FantasticRacism: It's one thing to understand that werewolves are dangerous and need to be policed and regulated; it's another to demand that they be killed on sight with no chance of rehabilitation.
* NobleBigotWithABadge: Intensely bigoted towards werewolves, but does not kill them on sight as he thinks is appropriate because of his orders to capture them, and [[spoiler:when a transformed Chiara tried to defend MC from Greyback, he carries her to safety and lets her go instead of capturing or harming her.]]
* SmugSnake: For all his talk about being ready to kill Fenrir or any other werewolf he meets, Cecil folds like a house of cards when actually confronted with them, and in the end relies on the player character to try and capture Fenrir.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: To his nephew, Barnaby. Aside from their tall frame and strong facial features, Cecil is just as dense as him, or maybe even more.

[[folder:Aurélie Dumont]]
A witch pen-friend of Penny's visiting Hogwarts from the French wizarding school, the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. She's interested in becoming a transfer student.
----
* AlwaysSecondBest: [[spoiler:She feels inferior to her brother and his alchemy skills, and she's looking into Nicolas Flamel's alchemical past to surpass him.]]
* GratuitousFrench: As you might expect, she peppers French words into her dialogue, usually followed immediately by the English translation.
* HiddenAgendaHero: She seems oddly distracted during her tour of Hogwarts, but Penny insists that there's nothing wrong with her behaviour. [[spoiler:Both turn out to be correct; Aurélie is looking for alchemy artefacts on school grounds, and while she has no true desire to transfer, there's no malicious intent in her search.]]
* MeaningfulName: "Aurélie" derives from Latin ''aureus'', meaning "golden".
* TrueBlueFemininity: Her Beauxbatons clothing is a rich powder blue in colour.

[[folder:Jacob and the Player's Parents]]
Jacob and the player's parents.
* ArchnemesisDad: [[spoiler:The father is revealed to be the leader of R.]]
* MyBelovedSmother: Their mother is said to be very strict, such as with using magic outside of school, not even letting her kids own brooms.
* UnnamedParent: While their father is later revealed to be called Peregrine, their mother is only known by 'Mum'.
