-->''"There's no other swordsman as tough as me!"''

Elsword is an ambitious but hot headed young swordsman, trained by the leader of the Red Knights, his sister Elesis[[note]]Was originally named Elsa[[/note]]. She left her little brother to lead a mission, never to return. Elsword now searches the land for two things; El, the precious gems that power his kingdom, and his missing sister.

Elsword is a master swordsman that excels at close range combat. He's quick on his feet and can hack and slash with the best of them. Not only can he dish it out but he can take a lot of punishment as well. His only real weakness is magic but in his mind, there's nothing a sharp piece of steel can't beat.

'''His job paths are as follows:'''
--> Elsword -> '''Sword Knight''' -> '''Lord Knight''' -> '''Knight Emperor'''
--> Elsword -> Magic Knight -> Rune Slayer -> Rune Master
--> Elsword -> Sheath Knight -> Infinity Sword -> Immortal
--> Elsword -> Root Knight -> Sacred Templar -> Genesis

----
* AgonyOfTheFeet: Sheath Knight's Fatal Slap, will leave the victim unable to run for a few seconds.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: As Genesis, who became awash with El and is closer to what Ain is.
* AngelicTransformation: Sacred Templar is a minor case, during awakening, Sephira's wings glow larger, [[PowerGivesYouWings making it seem as if Elsword himself has wings instead]], as he attempts to resonate further with the El, his streaks of hair also turned white because of that. Genesis take it even further, having assimilated himself with El after continuous use of the El's Resonance, becoming a half-angel entity rather than human. His hair turns completely white and his eye pupils become white diamonds, similar to Ain. His Sephira's wings glow even bigger.
* AngryFistShake: Magic Knight's intro pose has him do this.
* AnimeHair: His 'do bears an uncanny resemblance to [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII Cloud's]]. Of his class progression, Infinity Sword has it get more spiky, Lord Knight downplayed it, and Rune Slayer averts it.
* AntiAir: Some of his skills are mainly used for this, such as Lord Knight's Sandstorm, Rune Slayer's Phoenix Talon and Infinity Sword's Rage Cutter. His basic skill Flame Geyser is a subversion: its vertical range is actually shorter than it looks. Lord Knight's Armageddon Blade also employs this to an extent, as it makes his sword attacks reach long enough to hit airborne/higher enemies.
* AttackReflector: One of his passives as Rune Slayer gives him a chance to reflect normal projectiles. Lord Knight's Counter Attack and Infinity Sword's Compact Counter (active) skill has a similar effect.
** Played straight with Rune Slayer's Magic Counter, where's he can reflects projectiles.
* BadassArmFold: One of his win poses as Rune Slayer.
* BadassBack: His victory poses as Magic Knight and Rune Slayer.
* BadassCape: Knight Emperor's promotional accessory. It's similar to those worn by the El Masters, especially the one originally worn by Master Solace.
* BadassNormal: As Sword Knight, his specialty being "hitting things very, very hard", with the most mundane kind of power: master swordsmanship. His strength comes from honing his skills. Though he does get empowered with Primal El as Knight Emperor, his use of El pales in comparison to his entire skill set.
* {{BFS}}: From the beginning his sword was this. [[MasterSwordsman Sword Knight]]'s path, and to a lesser extent Magic Knight's, takes this trope and ''runs with it''.
** To be specific, Lord Knight's Armageddon Blade enlarges his sword to 4-5 times its size, allowing him to combo multiple enemies at once and gives himself more range. Meanwhile Rune Slayer has Luna Blade, wherein he summons a large energy blade to stab the victim, with added ManaBurn effect.
** Elsword uses his sword with one hand when standing or doing Z Attacks, but with both hands when using X Attacks. One could debate whether this qualifies for an OneHandedZweihander or if he is just using an Anderthalbhänder (a sword, where the wielder chooses if he wields it with one or two arms).
* BigSisterWorship: Always looks up to his big sister and tries to be as strong as her. He got over it as Knight Emperor where he starts create his own ways and finally left Elesis' shadows.
* BladeAcrossTheShoulder: In his base form and Sheath Knight's idle and win poses, he carries his blade across the shoulder. The Destruction Mode also has him doing this.
* BladeSpam: Some of his skills qualify, particularly Infinity Sword's.
** Lord Knight's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1R046zRtxAc Gigantic Slash]] Hyper in which he enlarges his sword and then slashes multiple times with it.
* BloodKnight: He enjoys battles. Averted as Lord Knight/Knight Emperor as he becomes more KnightInShiningArmor while he goes further this as Infinity Sword/Immortal.
* BoltOfDivineRetribution: Sacred Templar's Retribution skill fires an El energy sphere that strikes divine lightning on contact.
* BoringButPractical: His Lord Knight and Knight Emperor classes has fewer flashy skills compared to his other classes, but are nevertheless very powerful, even if at the hands of a newbie.
* BraidsOfAction: As Infinity Sword.
* BringIt: His basic VictoryPose has him do this.
* BringMyRedJacket: While he's always dressed in red, Infinity Sword fits here the most, with skills revolving around making the enemies bleed as well as having the least defenses out of Elsword's classes (though he's still pretty tough regardless).
* CastFromHitPoints: His basic move Roll sacrifices 1% of his max HP to be used.
* ChargedAttack: His basic skill Mega Slash, can be charged for stronger damage.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A Warrior by default. Lord Knight goes further in that direction, while Rune Slayer has him switch style into a Nuker, and Infinity Sword is a jack of Warrior, Nuker and Rogue.
* ConvenientlyTimedAttackFromBehind: In Elesis' introductory comic, Scar the Demon Knight reveals that he has just prepared to fire a magic attack with his free hand as Elesis successfully managed to break his magic barrier; she got no time to react. Fortunately Elsword throws his sword at his shoulder, distracting him for Elesis' final strike.
* CounterAttack: One of Lord Knight's and Infinity Sword's skills.
* CriticalHitClass:
** Magic Knight, with his Critical Sword skill, can increase the rate and damage of {{Critical Hit}}s.
** Meanwhile, Sheath Knight's Sudden Strike passive, make his attacks have a certain chance to critically hit. Also, after a patch, using Infinity Sword's Phantom Sword will give him increased critical hit chance.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Like his older sister, he has red eyes that match his red hair. However, the Sheath Knight path downplays this as he gains red and black hair, while the Root Knight path gives him a white streak that eventually turns into full-on white hair.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff:
** Sword Knight's [[AntiArmor Armor Break]] skill decreases the victim's physical defense values by a percentage.
** Magic Knight's passive Power Chain is a variant that works on magical defense.
* DarkIsNotEvil: As Infinity Sword, he uses the Dark El as a catalyst for his special sword to become pure and stronger; aside from that he also looks more vicious and has harsher quotes. Yet, he's still a good boy at heart.
* DeadlyLunge: His Assault Slash skill.
** Sheath Knight's Mirage Sting and Infinity Sword's Sword Blasting skill, aside from this, also adds some flying spectral swords to the mix.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: Previously, in Destruction Mode, when you got hit by an attack while on the ground, he'd negate the attack's damage and knock down the attacker if close enough, and then become ImmuneToFlinching.
** Sword Knight's Auto Guard passive gives him a chance to automatically guard against attacks.
** Rune Slayer's Magic Resistance Mastery passive gives him a chance to reflect projectile attacks.
* DualWielding: As the "Sheath Knight".
* DubNameChange: "Els" in Japan.
* DumbMuscle: Aisha and Add often state that he is all brawn and no brain.
* DumbassNoMore: Becomes older and wiser with his advanced job skills, especially as the Knight Emperor.
* ElementalPunch: Available as one of Magic Knight's skills.
* EmpathicWeapon: The Sheath Knight's second sword is this.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Elsword's three other paths give him an outside power source to accompany his swordsmanship.
** The Magic Knight path awakens his latent magic powers, deciding to take his own path to greatness as opposed to following his sister's footsteps.
** The Sheath Knight path uses a magical sheath that summons swords, though the sheath itself amplifies the vices of its wielder, namely Elsword's enjoyment of combat.
** The Root Knight path relies on El's Resonance via Sephira.
* {{Expy}}: To [[VideoGame/GrandChase Elesis Sieghart]]. Gets funny when Elesis herself is not only depicted as his older sister, but also becomes playable here, sort of.
** And not only that, his Lord Knight class makes him look more closer to [[VideoGame/{{Ys}} Adol]] [[http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110905062944/nihonfalcom/images/0/09/AdolSeven.jpg Christin]]. Maybe that's why Ys music [[FridgeBrilliance gets put up in nearly half of the Elsword videos]]!
* EyeColourChange: As Knight Emperor, his eyes turns partially blue during awakening mode, and turns fully blue during his second hyper active: Absolute Judgement.
* FashionableAsymmetry: As Sheath Knight, his shirt has only one sleeve. As Knight Emperor, his left side is long-sleeved and full glove while his right side is short-sleeved and has a fingerless glove.
* FieryRedhead: Yup, even his hair resembles burning flames, but it gets toned down properly in his job change.
* FighterMageThief: [[LightningBruiser Lord Knight]] is the Fighter, [[MagicKnight Rune Slayer]] is the Mage, and [[DeathOfAThousandCuts Infinity Sword]] is the Thief.
* FingerSnapLighter: Of the "fire held on palm" variety; Magic Knight's idle pose and Victory Pose has him holding fire on his open hand. Meanwhile Rune Slayer's intro pose has him holding a magical rune instead.
* GlassCannon: Rune Slayer is this for the most part. Having very high magical power and decently high magical defense at the cost of having lower physical defense even when Infinity Sword has below average physical defense. To an extent, Infinity Sword has high magical defense yet below average physical defense despite being specialized in physical attacks.
* AGlassInTheHand: Rune Slayer's intro pose has him shattering a magic rune that he made on his left hand.
* GoodIsNotNice: Can be smug in battle and condescending of his enemies and mocking of other characters' flaws, including Aisha's flat chest. That doesn't stop him from doing his task properly. Taken further in Infinity Sword/Immortal path where he became a BloodKnight yet still a good guy.
* GroundPound: Used in some of his skills, notably the Flame/Triple Geyser, as well as Sword Knight's skill after a patch named Mortal Blow.
* HardLight:
** Lord Knight's Armageddon Blade is him making a giant blade as an extension of his BFS out of this.
** Magic Knight has Wind Blade, Rising Slash and Storm Blade where he creates blades of light to impale his enemies. As Rune Slayer he can make hard light runes as projectiles, and his Luna Blade is similar in principle as Magic Knight's skills above.
** Many of Sheath Knight line's skills are about generating hard light copies of his second sword.
* HeadbuttingHeroes: With Aisha, a lot. His HotBlooded approach to battles, his tendency to mock others' flaws, and his general smugness grates with Aisha, especially when he mocks her [[ACupAngst flat chest]].
* HeroesPreferSwords: It's in his [[MeaningfulName name]].
* HotBlooded: Though in his Lord Knight class, this aspect is subdued compared to his other third classes.
-->[[BattleCry "OUT OF MY WAY!"]]
* IdiotHero: Definitely has shades of this, including his distaste for Aisha's long-winded lectures. Add also says that [[DumbMuscle his brain is filled with muscle]]. [[DumbassNoMore He gets wiser at his advanced jobs though]].
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX3urjsgBjk "El's Word"]], a song about his desire to keep meeting his allies to the ends of the world.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Many of his skills do this, but especially Armageddon Blade or Luna Blade.
* InformedAbility: A lot of people in Elrios says he has hidden untapped potential, but is yet to be revealed.
** It may be referring to how his advanced jobs which he utilized his hidden magic power in various ways.
* InstantRunes: The Rune Slayer job uses a lot of these. Sheath Knight line sometimes has it too, usually when he summons his second sword.
* IWillFindYou: His quest is to find his missing sister, Elesis.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's on the side of good, loves and idolizes his missing older sister, and opposes evil... but he also loves taunting fallen enemies so badly, it borderlines smugness. One of the reason why Aisha isn't happy with him. Toned down in his Lord Knight class and more slightly more pronounced in his Infinity Sword class.
* LightningBruiser: Very strong physically, can be quick on his toes, and able to tank damage well. He's not really good in the long range or magical properties however, compared to most of his other teammates; though his Magic Knight class has him realizing his weakness in magic and starts focusing on it. Each class can be pretty durable, but Lord Knight has better properties for surviving. Having a passive that increases his power when debuffed makes it harder for enemies to place a debuff on him since it only makes him stronger. Some of his issues with ranged fights can be solved with Sandstorm and Windmill although both skills give enemies a lot of mana and awakening charge which makes this rather risky at times.
* LockedIntoStrangeness:
** Part of Elsword's hair becomes black when he becomes Infinity Sword. The explanation is that he's absorbing the Dark El to help purify his special sword from the darkness, allowing him to create multiple copies of it.
** His Root Knight path also does the same, but color-inverted; Sacred Templar gives him a white streak of hair, which evolves to completely white hair as Genesis.
* MadeOfIron: In the second Season 3 Eltype comic, he survived getting accidentally pummeled by Lu along with the unlucky Phorus with only a few bruises. Somewhat justified as being a Lord Knight makes him tougher.
* MagicKnight: He utilizes magic at varying degrees, with his least magical path Knight Emperor channels his inner magic power through HardLight. The Magic Knight path, [[CaptainObvious unsurprisingly]], embodies this, weaving swordsmanship with his newfound power over fire.
* MagneticHero: With the exception of Aisha and Rena, the other members of his group comes from his persuasion of joining. [[BeatTheCurseOutOfHim He turns Raven sane]], he becomes Eve's friend, [[RecruitmentByRescue he saves and evacuates Chung from his city]] and he states to Ara that he's also chasing after Ran.
* ManaBurn: His Luna Blade skill also burns a huge chunk of enemies' [=MP=].
* MasterSwordsman: His Lord Knight class best fits this as it focuses on his original swordplay, refining it to new levels.
* MilkingTheGiantCow: Sheath Knight's intro pose has him do this, while holding a special rune for his special sword.
* OrbitingParticleShield: Sheath Knight's Sword Shield skill.
* PlayingWithFire: His elemental specialty, used for his Magic Knight path.
* PowerTattoo: He gains rune tattoos as Rune Slayer and gains more as Rune Master.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: As Infinity Sword and Immortal, his attire is full of reds and blacks. Downplayed in that he's just the meanest out of Elsword's advancements, but he still pursues his good goals.
* RedIsHeroic: He's a red-headed, red-eyed hero who specializes in wielding swords just like his older sister, and is a heroic playable character... but he's also a JerkWithAHeartOfGold with raging flaws.
* RightBehindMe: In the second Season 3 Eltype comic, William proclaims that his revenge plan will mark the end of Elsword, the latter was right behind him. Naturally he's pissed off.
* RollingAttack: One of Lord Knight's skills.
** His base job also has a simpler one that also works as an evasion move.
** One of his combo moves and skills as Infinity Sword.
* ScreamingWarrior: Fitting for a hot-blooded kid, expect lots of shouting during his attacks. His stronger skills also has him shouting the skill name louder than the weaker ones.
* SerratedBladeOfPain: Lord Knight's Armageddon Blade after an update. His CriticalHit chance is also increased by 10% when it's active.
* ShapingYourAttacks: Rune Slayer's Phoenix Talon skill has him calling forth a phoenix that flies upward and burns enemies while giving him a special buff.
** See also HardLight above.
* ShoutOut: Infinity Sword's introductory comic is named "Blade Works", which may be a reference to the [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Unlimited Blade Works]]. Also his skill Sword Fall works similarly to said technique.
* SituationalDamageAttack: Sheath Knight's Sword Fall deals more hits the closer the enemy is to him.
* SkillGateCharacters: His difficulty is always listed as "easy" for all of his advancements, and as such his combos and skills are simple but powerful; average characters, however, may find them easy to predict and counter. He also suffers from his not-so-great reach. On the other hand, he's an example of the "inverted bell learning curve" - once one masters his skills and know when to strike and what to strike with, he becomes a true force to be reckoned with.
* SpectralWeaponCopy: Infinity Sword specializes in this - he can magically copy his special sword Conwell and have a literal StormOfBlades with it. Also Rune Slayer's Luna Blade which strangely looks like Infinity Sword's weapon.
* SphereOfPower: He's surrounded in a blue circle while in Vitality mode.
* SpikesOfDoom: Magic Knight's Rising Slash have him summon giant spectral blades from the ground to impale the enemy.
* SpinAttack: One of Lord Knight's unlockable skills (Windmill).
* StanceSystem: The base Elsword (and retained throughout his job advancements) has two, collectively called "Way of the Sword". Entering each stances requires him to do some specific attacks and skills.
** Vitality Mode focuses on speed, MP recovery and MP usage.
** Destruction Mode focuses on dealing stronger damage and [[DefenseMechanismSuperpower stopping enemy attacks.]]
* SticksToTheBack: One of Rune Slayer's VictoryPose has him putting his sword this way. This also appears in one of his custom idle poses.
* StockShonenHero: Elsword is a hot-blooded and determined warrior who trains relentlessly to become a powerful warrior like his sister. He wishes to use this strength to protect everyone dear to him.
* StormOfBlades: "Magic Knight" has this at first, "Sheath Knight" and his new upgrade "Infinity Sword" bring this to a new level.
** Taken to absurd levels with Infinity Sword's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k8gLFOX260 Blade Rain]] Hyper. Comparisons with ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' and ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight'' run rampant.
* SummonToHand: As Sheath Knight he can use a special rune to summon his special sword to his left hand.
* SuperMode:
** Lord Knight has the Armageddon Blade, which increases the length of his already-long sword. Its activation counts as a rather powerful attack. Being in awakening mode when activating it extends the duration slightly.
** Rune Slayer has two: Sword Fire which [[FlamingSword adds flames to his sword]] and Phoenix Talon which increases his movement speed, allows him to [[RegeneratingMana regenerate MP]] and [[EnergyAbsorption absorb weak projectiles for MP]]. Both are also deal heavy damage upon their casting itself.
** Infinity Sword has the Phantom Sword which lets him manipulate a [[FlyingWeapon floating third sword]] to accompany his attacks.
** Magic Knight has one that increases chance and damage of {{Critical Hit}}s, and, after a patch, [[SpellBlade adding a random elemental buff to his sword.]]
*** After another update, said skill is now split in two, with each of the effects above occupying one.
** Genesis has his El Resonance form which activates upon Awakening. The said form also activates his Sword of El passive which fires spears of light whenever he attacks.
* SwordBeam: After a patch, he gains one for Magic Knight.
** After another patch, Lord Knight gains a passive where he gets a chance for his normal sword attacks to fire off crescent beams that deal additional damage.
* SwordPlant: Rune Slayer's Sword Fire and Infinity Sword's Rage Cutter starts with this.
** He also does this in one of his custom idle poses.
** Knight Emperor's Absolute Judgement is executed this way, followed by an explosion.
* SwordPointing: He does this in his intro pose as himself or Lord Knight. He also does this as Infinity Sword in his VictoryPose, with him pointing at the screen.
* ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks: Infinity Sword's Harsh Chaser skill.
* TooManyBelts: Rune Slayer incorporates many belts in his design.
* TornadoMove: Lord Knight's Sandstorm skill is a sandy variant.
** After a patch, his Windmill skill creates a vertical tornado that lets him hit enemies above him.
* TremorTrampoline: The final hit of Lord Knight's Rolling Smash always does this.
* UpgradeArtifact: The Conwell blade, which forms the basis for Sheath Knight's strategy. It later gets empowered with Dark El Gem, allowing him to unlock more of its potential and be able to create copies of his special blade, becoming Infinity Sword.
* WhenSheSmiles: RareMaleExample; During his base class to Lord Knight progression, Elsword is depicted as frowning. But when he becomes Knight Emperor, he finally smiles, symbolizing that he follows his own path and no longer burdened to follow his sister's shadow.
* YouHaveResearchedBreathing: He'd have to advance to Sword Knight to be able to do... a kick. A simple kick to the chest, not anything flashy like Rena's. It does extend combos however, possibly justifying why he can learn it so late.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe:
** One of the Infinity Sword's skills has him pulling an enemy closer to him with his second sword. Another has him cutting open a black hole to suck enemies in for a strong strike.
** Rune Slayer's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNiuApcNrKU Shining Rune Buster]] Hyper (and, after a patch, Lord Knight's Gigantic Slash) starts with this.

-->''"Prepare to be blown away by magic!"''

Aisha Landar was already a mage of the highest order at the tender age of 12 until a ring of sinister power absorbed her abilities. Intelligent and brash, she once again starts her journey to relearn all that she lost.

Aisha is a mage who relies on her spell-casting abilities to inflict major damage to an opponent. She also has the abilities to attack multiple targets at once. All of the Mage's spells are elemental, meaning she can gain an advantage by tailoring her attacks to a monsters natural element. In hand to hand combat, she favors the staff.

'''Her job paths are as follows:'''
--> Aisha -> '''High Magician''' -> '''Elemental Master''' -> '''Aether Sage'''
--> Aisha -> Dark Magician -> Void Princess -> Oz Sorcerer
--> Aisha -> Battle Magician -> Dimension Witch -> Metamorphy
--> Aisha -> Wiz Magician -> Mystic Alchemist -> Lord Azoth

----
* ACupAngst: She is at least B cup, but is still jealous at Rena's bigger assets. Elsword taunts her for wearing sports bra. Though this only applies to her character art; the in-game model doesn't accurately reflect that, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFpt97g08Ng with this video]] claiming she's a DD cup, but the in-game models and comics tend to vary in bust size anyway.
* AlchemyIsMagic: The premise behind her fourth job branch, Wiz Magician. The alchemy she's studying has a connection to ancient magic, feeding into her curiosity to find those answers and eventually the ultimate truth. She eventually develops a homonculus as the Mystic Alchemist, and becomes immortal as the Lord Azoth by fusing with the Philosopher's Stone.
* AgonyOfTheFeet: Battle Magician's Energy Wave can makes enemies slow downed by having their movement and jump speed reduced by 15%.
* AmplifierArtifact: In-story, she gets access to the Moonstone, which she uses to upgrade her Battle Pendant, allowing her to be able to manipulate space more efficiently.
* AntiAir: Her basic skill Gust Screw and (to a lesser extent) Elemental Master's Circle Flame is mainly used for this.
** As well as High Magician line's HomingProjectile skills and "Shower" skills.
** For Dark Magician line, her Death Field can be used as this, while Void Princess' Plasma Cutter will have additional diagonal lasers if done in Awakening Mode. Her Phantom Breathing is a minor version.
** Battle Magician line has Super Nova and Dimension Witch's Energy Spurt, and to a lesser extent, her Impact Hammer.
* AwesomeButImpractical: Her special system "[[VancianMagic Memorize]]" lets her save a skill (up to three) for later use, and can be used to do the same skill twice in rapid succession. The catch? It only works on special actives (those that freeze the screen), and the memorized skill's damage is reduced by 30%. It is only good if you want to do high damage quickly, or, if you're Elemental Master, exploit this for her Elements Friendly passive (which relies on casting special actives for magical attack buff) or using this with Blizzard Shower to freeze the enemies in place for longer. It is more practical to just wait for the cooldown to cast the skill again, because of said damage penalty.
* BadassAdorable: All of her forms count, especially her second jobs.
* BadassBookworm: Elemental Master is often portrayed with a book on hand. She's also a force to be reckoned with, particularly after the ST revamp.
* BadassLongcoat: As Elemental Master and Aether Sage, she wears a white, long-sleeved coat as part of her attire.
* BagOfSpilling: She lost her powers due to wearing a cursed magic ring, and is on a quest to get her powers back.
* BlackMagic: The Dark Magician line practices this.
* BlackMagicianGirl: Fits it to a T. She's a prodigy mage with a fiery temper.
* BlowYouAway: Her Gust Screw and High Magician's Cyclone.
* BraidsOfAction: [[http://elwiki.net/wiki/images/8/88/Aisha_Alternate.png Her international version]].
* BreathWeapon: Void Princess' pet bat Angkor does this in her Phantom Breathing skill.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2lt3MYCdXA Abyss Angkor]] Hyper has him shooting out a gigantic laser from his mouth
* BringIt: Void Princess' intro pose has her do this.
* CastingAShadow: The Dark Magician line mainly uses this element.
* ChainLightning: One of High Magician's skills, after an update.
* ChargedAttack: After a patch, she can charge the last fireball of her combo to become larger. She'll become ImmuneToFlinching while charging.
** High Magician and Elemental Master can charge either Meteor or Lightning Shower so that it rains more meteors or lightning.
* ChildProdigy: She's said to become a talented magician at the age of 12. Even with a cursed ring undoing all her progress, she still continues to get stronger regardless.
* CleavageWindow: Battle Magician and Dimension Witch sport these on their clothes, with Dimension Witch bordering on NavelDeepNeckline.
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: In story, Angkor claims that Void Princess' outfit is the source of her powers. She doesn't exactly like to wear it, but she doesn't really mind.
* CombatStilettos: As Battle Magician and Dimension Witch.
* CombinedEnergyAttack: Borderline example with Battle Magician's Supernova skill; the more the mobs/the allies are within radius, the stronger the skill becomes.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A Nuker by default, with a touch of Support. Elemental Master goes further in that direction, while Void Princess mixed it with a few Rogue elements, and Dimension Witch makes her a Warrior. Note that their supports work differently; EM can debuff her enemies with her basic buff skills, DW has a passive that increases the buffs' duration, and VP deals StatusEffects through her attacks.
* CriticalHitClass: Dark Magician with one of her passives, which allows increased CriticalHit rate.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: She has purple eyes to match her purple hair. Lord Azoth depicts her with light purple hair bordering on white, with her eyes bearing the same colors.
* CuteWitch: All of her classes count, but emphasized more with Battle Magician, Dimension Witch and much further as Oz Sorcerer.
* DarkIsNotEvil: As the "Dark Mage". Unlike most of the "dark" class branches the others have, Aisha is in full control of herself and her powers, and her desire for more is out of her frustration of being a burden.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff[=/=]AntiArmor: Void Princess' Petite Angkor skill can induce this on its victims, specifically for magical defense. Her Phantom Breathing also reduces her victims' resistance to elements.
** The same patch also makes her Aging skill to decrease the DamageReduction stat of the enemy.
* DeadlyGas: One of Dark Magician's skills.
* DeadlyLunge: One of Dimension Witch's skills.
* DealWithTheDevil: The prerequisite of being a Void Princess involves signing a contract with the demonic bat Angkor.
* DeathFromAbove: Elemental Master can summon either a shower of meteors or a blizzard (or, after an update, a lightning storm).
** Void Princess has Hell Drop, where she summons a portal that rains multiple rocks from above.
** Her base job's Meteor Call summons a single large meteor.
* DeflectorShields: Elemental Master's Elemental Body works like this after an update.
* DifficultButAwesome: Her movement is stiffer than others, and her attacks can be slow, but when mastered she can deal massive damage and cause confusion on others. Void Princess keeps this in a different way, while Elemental Master and Dimension Witch tones the difficulty down. The former is more of a traditional nuker that can clear stages with ease, and the latter has better close combat options for an action-focused game.
* DishingOutDirt: Dark Magician's and Void Princess' skills utilize the power of the earth, by summoning a spinning giant stone and dropping stone spheres.
* DramaticHighPerching: One of Void Princess' victory poses has her sitting on a giant, tall Angkor-on-a-stick.
* ElegantGothicLolita: As Dark Mage, she takes on this look, wearing a ruffled skirt, bell sleeves, and skulls. This look is eventually dropped once she becomes the Void Princess.
* ElementalPowers: She already has some control over the elements as herself, but the High Magician and Elemental Master classes focus more in this.
* ElementNumberFive: As Aether Sage, she discovered the ultimate form of Elemental Magic, the Aether.
* EnergyAbsorption: One of Elemental Master's skills after an update lets her do this.
** Dimension Witch's Space Distortion skill can absorb normal projectiles, as well as stopping melee attacks.
* EnergyBall: Dimension Witch can shoot these in some of her combos. Meanwhile Void Princess can shoot a dark version.
%%* EnergyWeapon: One of Void Princess' skills.
** EveryoneCanSeeIt: Almost everyone in her group mentions that she's always close to Elsword. In particular, Rena also says that "[Aisha]'s still [[{{Tsundere}} an amateur at liking someone]]".
* EverythingsBetterWithSparkles: Many of Battle Magician's attacks are accompanied by sparkles.
* EvilLaugh: Aisha indulges in this in her Void Princess job change.
* {{Expy}}: To [[VideoGame/GrandChase Arme]]. Both are violet-colored prodigy mages that specialize in elemental magic. Past her base class, her idol-like attitude as Dimension Witch and her dark disposition as Void Princess are a send-up to Amy and Ley (respectively) of the same game.
* FauxPaw: High Magician's intro pose has her doing this.
* FingerWag: Her base job, Dark Magician, and Aether Sage's intro poses.
* {{Fireballs}}: Some of her main attacks involve shooting a small volley of these, and even has the Chain Fireball. Greater emphasis on this is made on the High Magician path, in part of deriving her powers from nature.
* FireIceLightning: Technically Ice Lightning Fire, but Elemental Master's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PViWjypwAu8 Elemental Storm]] Hyper follows this.
* FixedDamageAttack: Downplayed - Battle Magician's Energy Spurt skill deals most of its damage based on your character level, squared, times the multiplier that increases if you ups the skill's level, and [[ArmorPiercingAttack ignores defensive stats]]. Only a few buff and debuff can modify its damage.
* {{Flight}}: She has a limited form of this, able to glide in the air for as long as she sustains it.
* FrillyUpgrade: Dimension Witch's outfit is a modified version of Battle Magician's own, and looks overall prettier.
* GiantPoofySleeves: Downplayed with Void Princess and Aether Sage's outfit.
* GirlishPigtails: This is downplayed as Elemental Master, but played up more as Void Princess, Battle Magician and Dimension Witch.
* GlassCannon: She hits hard, is very versatile, but has the least HP among all the cast. Elemental Master usually performs this trope among the three classes as most of her skills require a large amount of mana and that she's best at heavily crippling enemies if provided protection.
* GoofyPrintUnderwear: Elemental Master's promotion costume has a cat head print on the back of her panties.
* HeadbuttingHeroes: With Elsword, a lot.
* {{Hitscan}}: Battle Magician's Energy Drain automatically hits the closest opponent.
* HomingProjectile: High Magician's Magic Missile homes in on opponent. Said missile will [[SuperPersistentMissle continue to hit an opponent]] until a certain number of hits, or (failing that) its time expired. Though it can be bypassed by running away really fast or trick its limited curving capabilities into flying around in a circle, cat-and-mouse style.
* AnIcePerson: High Magician's Blizzard Shower and Elemental Master's Frost Barrage and Icicle Spear.
* IdiotHair: [[http://elwiki.net/wiki/images/e/e5/250px-Aishastanding.png In her base form]]; she grows another strand of hair as Elemental Master and retained it as Aether Sage.
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zrYJWdTS58 "In the Violet Hour"]], a song of Aisha's adventures with the El Search Party and growth in spite of losing her magic power.
* TheImp: Angkor acts as one to Void Princess.
* InstantDeathRadius: Dark Magician's Death Field skill induces this.
* InstantRunes: When Elemental Master casts an elemental spell, a special, [[GeometricMagic triangular]] rune indicating the element will appear near her.
* InsufferableGenius: Tends to go onto long-winded lectures, much to [[IdiotHero Elsword's annoyance]].
* JackOfAllStats: Both Void Princess and Dimension Witch have pretty balanced stats across the board, although the former has better ranged attacks, the latter has a more diverse skill pool for attacking repeatedly. Dimension Witch (and before that, Battle Magician) has Magical Makeup, which makes her nearly to the point of becoming a LightningBruiser thanks to it giving her a much higher mana regeneration which helps her offensive potential.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Dimension Witch wears a very pretty dress, and Metamorphy cranks up the finery even further, with a ruffled dress that contains a starscape pattern.
* LaserCutter: Void Princess's Plasma Cutter skill works like this.
* LightningBruiser: Void Princess and to a lesser extent, Dimension Witch operate as this. Void Princess has the skill pool to attack up close and at a distance giving her a lot of offensive power as well as utility for catching and crippling enemies very quickly. Dimension Witch, while not as potent as Void Princess, has higher physical stats while retaining her usually high magical power and magical defense. Her skills mostly are meant for being right next to the enemy but they more often than not immobilize the target. She also has no problem destroying mobs with Supernova or heavily denting bosses with Energy Spurt, combined with Magical Makeup which increases her default mana regeneration when attacking and when idle, allows her to perform just as good as a supporter and as an offensive leader.
* LittleMissBadass: One of the younger members of the Party, but has plenty of magic to keep up.
* LongRangeFighter: As Elemental Master, though her forte isn't in long range per se, but rather her ability to attack and keep moving as well as wide area attacks.
* MadAtADream: In one supplementary comic, she dreams about her and her friends suddenly growing up with only her noticing, and in particular, Elsword has changed from a brash hothead to a more levelheaded and compassionate young man - and she gets flustered at him. When she wakes up and meets Elsword (who, as usual, is being an insensitive jerk) she almost blurts out that he was nice in her dreams... before she stopped and shouts [[{{Tsundere}} "YOU'LL NEVER TURN OUT TO BE LIKE THAT! NEVER!!"]]
-->'''Elsword''': ...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!
** Ironically enough, Elsword DOES [[DumbassNoMore become wiser as he grows older and his class advances]], most prominently as the "Knight Emperor".
* MagicalGirl: Although her "Elemental Master" class dresses the part, Aisha's "[[FullContactMagic Battle Magician]]" job comes with a TransformationSequence and a costume change as part of her skillset. She as that job even refers to herself as "mahou shoujo", albeit autonomously according to a manga strip.
* MagicIsMental: She's the designated magician in the game and as such she's very knowledgeable in many things mystical in the Elsword world, with a diligent, studious mind.
* MagicStaff: Her weapon of choice, and can get physical with it as Battle Mage.
* ManaDrain: One of Dark Magician's and Battle Magician's skills (the latter combines it with LifeDrain).
* MiniDressOfPower: As herself, Dark Magician, Battle Magician, Dimension Witch, and Aether Sage.
* NonElemental: The Battle Magician path de-emphasizes elemental magic in favor of this, with the fireball combo replaced with balls of pure magic, combined with gravity manipulation and FullContactMagic.
* OurHomunculiAreDifferent: The Mystic Alchemist's homunculus is cutesy and fae-like, created through magic crystals. In the game, it's a summon she can call upon to accompany her and fight.
* OurMagesAreDifferent: Her four job branches turn her into different kinds of mages:
** Elemental Master/Aether Sage has her study and train hard to master elemental magic; a mix of athlete and scholar.
** Void Princess/Oz Sorcerer is her making a contract with a demon to access dark magic; said demon gives her an outfit that lets her wield dark magic. A cultist mage, combined with gadget user.
** Dimension Witch/Metamorphy uses magical artifacts and enchanted stones that are the source of her space and time magic; a gadget user, with some touches of scholar (she studies on how she can apply said magic).
** Mystic Alchemist/Lord Azoth dabbles into alchemy, a magical science that is said to be connected to ancient magic and the ultimate truth. The textbook chemist.
* PainfullySlowProjectile: High Magician's Cyclone creates a slow-moving cyclone that hurts continuously.
** Battle Magician line's starballs are much slower than her normal fireballs, but deals multiple hits per ball. Later Dimension Witch converts all her fireballs into this.
** Once she has Transcended, Dimension Witch can learn the 300 MP skill, Impact Zone, which has Aisha create a slowly moving barrier that moves in the direction she was facing when she casted it. While it can be avoided by jumping over it, being hit results with the enemy who got hit [[TheParalyzer being unable to move from their current position]] unless they mana break but until the debuff duration is over, those affected can't move at all and it also cancels out most of the enemies running and dashing attacks (Aisha in general can get around this for a while by using Teleport to move).
* PalmOnCheekPose: Elemental Master's VictoryPose.
* PersonalSpaceInvader: One of Void Princess' skills summons a bat that will latch to the opponent and either explodes after a few seconds, or (after an update, as an alternative) hinder their movement. Victims in [=PvP=] can escape with SmashingSurvival.
* PhilosophersStone: The Mystic Alchemist eventually creates one and merges with to become Lord Azoth, becoming immortal to pursue knowledge for eternity.
* PlayingWithFire: Her Gust Storm and Meteor Call, High Magician's Flame Road, Meteor Shower and Blaze Step, and Elemental Master's Chain Burst.
* PowerGivesYouWings: Casting Magical Makeup as Metamorphy gives her a pair of wings.
* PowerLossMakesYouStrong: Despite losing most of her power to a cursed ring, she still makes an effort to grow stronger trying to get her power back. Whether it's mastery of aether, dark magic, space-time, or alchemy, she achieves greater heights as if she never lost it in the first place.
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: As Battle Magician, her hair grows longer when she enters SuperMode through skill Magical Makeup. She also visibly grew hair much longer as Aether Sage and as Oz Sorcerer.
* PrimAndProperBun: As High Magician, she wears her hair up in a bun, though it's subverted as she's more cheerful than proper.
* ProfessorGuineaPig: As the Mystic Alchemist, she's even conducted experiments on herself in her pursuit of the ultimate truth, causing unseen damages on her body. If you look closely on the art for Lord Azoth, her hands have patches of discoloration up to her arms.
* ProjectileSpell: Dark Magician's "Aging" can cause the victim to move slower and their MP degenerating... and takes form of a dark ball that is thrown forward in an arc and explodes in a pillar of dark energy - said pillar giving the effect.
* PurpleIsTheNewBlack: Void Princess and Oz Sorcerer has the most purple on her outfit compared to her other advancements (where she gets fair share of lavender, pink and white) and she's conceived as Aisha's "evil" class.
* PurpleIsPowerful: She's color coded with purple and she has some very powerful magic on her hands.
* RegeneratingMana: Same as Rena's, but more potent. High Magician and Battle Magician have their own ways of increasing the rate of regen.
* SailorFuku: Her outfit as Elemental Master has this motif, as explained in [[http://elwiki.net/wiki/images/8/89/EMConceptT.jpg her concept art]].
* ShockAndAwe: Her base job has Lightning Bolt, High Magician utilizes this in one of her combos, and Elemental Master has Lightning Shower.
* ShockwaveStomp: The Battle Magician's Guillotine Press, where she jumps high before stomping down to attack with sheer force twice in succession. Lighter enemies can even be knocked around via TremorTrampoline. The skill can also be modified to be one powerful stomp instead, albeit only when airborne.
* ShorterMeansSmarter: She's shorter than other playable characters and is very knowledgeable about mystical arts.
* ShoutOut: Her Dark Magician's skill Death Field summons a spell book that if looked closely, the words "Killing Note" are written on it. [[Manga/DeathNote Looks familiar, right?]]
* SituationalDamageAttack: Battle Magician's Supernova skill's damage depends on how much of her allies and enemies are caught up in the spherical field that appears before the giant magic explosion.
* SpellBook: Her use of this is prominent in her Elemental Master and Aether Sage and it's also used in Dark Magician's Death Field.
* SphereOfDestruction: The Battle Magician path has two different kinds of this, Supernova and the Dimension Witch's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBh7vOJ4gD8 Fate Space]] Hyper. The base job's Meteor Call skill also works like this.
* SpaceMaster: To some extent with Dimension Witch.
* SpinAttack: One of Void Princess' combos end with this.
* SpreadShot: Of the spray burst variety with Elemental Master's Chain Burst.
* SquishyWizard: Can be subverted temporarily with Elemental Master's Elemental Body.
* StandardPowerupPose: When she enters the Awakening Mode or using her buff skills, she does this.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Void Princess is definitely the most provocative than her other job branches. Not that she chose to dress that way though. According to concept art, Angkor's contract states that he accompany her at all times...and wear whatever he requests. Then there's Oz Sorcerer, with her short shorts, her midriff, her detached sleeves exposing her shoulders, and a slight sight of UnderBoobs.
* SuckingInLines: Appears when she regenerates MP.
* SummonMagic: As Void Princess, she can summon a bat demon to aid in her attacks.
* SummonToHand: Elemental Master in her intro and VictoryPose summons a book to read.
* SuperMode:
** Available for Battle Magician, complete with TransformationSequence and [[PowerGivesYouWings wings of light]] (the latter only for Dimension Witch). It turns her fireballs into multi-hitting energy balls, makes her staff reach longer and makes her regenerate mana faster. It's also implied to be her OlderAlterEgo via time manipulation.
** Metamorphy also has this through her Hyper Active skill.
* SwissArmySuperpower: The Battle Magician line applies time and space magic for many uses, such as altering her own body to grow older and stronger, increases the weight of herself or her staff for a heavy smashing attack, or distorting space around her to wreck havoc on the field.
* SwordPointing:
** Battle Magician's intro pose has her point her staff forward.
** She also does this in Void Princess' custom skill cut-in.
* TeleportersAndTransporters: One of her basic skills.
* ThisIsADrill: Dimension Witch's Screw Driver skill.
* ThreeStrikeCombo: Her basic skill Chain Fireball has her shooting 3 big fireballs. Battle Magician's Heavy Press is a heavy staff attack repeated 3 times.
* TimeStandsStill: Her basic skill Binding Circle lets her stop time flow around her, stopping enemies in the process.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Shows some shades of this as the Void Princess, complete with a pact with the little bat-demon Angkor, evil stares on most of her ending poses, and an EvilLaugh.
* TornadoMove: Her Gust Screw and Gust Storm skills. Also Elemental Master's Cyclone.
* {{Tsundere}}: Type B for Elsword - she's known by other people as being energetic, youthful and cheery... except when Elsword's nearby (doesn't help that [[BelligerentSexualTension he's quite an ass himself]]). In a comic spinoff, she gets flustered when she met a more humble grown-up Elsword in her dream. There's a reason the Japanese version stars Creator/RieKugimiya [[PigeonholedVoiceActor as her]].
** Interestingly, in the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyVAt0Wdu1Y promotion video of the wedding system update]], it's the other way around: Elsword getting flustered by Aisha's beauty. Complete with LuminescentBlush.
* UpgradeArtifact: [[TransformationTrinket The Battle Pendant]], which is the key of becoming a Battle Magician.
* {{Vibroweapon}}: One of Dimension Witch's passive applies a spatial distortion on her staff, causing this effect.
* WeaponAcrossTheShoulder: Void Princess' idle pose has her do this with her staff.
* WhyAmITicking: Dark Magician's Death Field does this to her victims.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: She's shown to fear insects and ghosts.
* WreathedInFlames: After an update, Elemental Master's Blaze Step works like this.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: Dimension Witch's skill Worm Hole can attract nearby enemies and hurt them continuously.
** Also Void Princess' Phantom Breathing, after an update.
** Ditto with Battle Magician's Supernova skill, after an update.
** Void Princess' Abyss Angkor hyper starts with Angkor sucking nearby enemies towards his mouth before firing a giant laser.

-->''"Can you hear the spirit of the winds?"''

Rena Erindel is an elf living in the mortal world. Her place in this world is jeopardized by the weakening of El, the power gems that energize everything including the connection to her home world. If this power fades the ties that bind the two planes will vanish as will Rena herself. She uses her abilities as a Ranger to protect the El and her friends.

Rena is a marksman with ranged weapons but can call on the elements to fuel her magic attacks as well. When cornered though, she has no problem striking enemies with her awesome kicks. She also has the ability to seemingly fly through the air with her double jump.

'''Her job paths are as follows:'''
--> Rena -> Combat Ranger -> Wind Sneaker -> Anemos
--> Rena -> '''Sniping Ranger''' -> '''Grand Archer''' -> '''Daybreaker'''
--> Rena -> Trapping Ranger -> Night Watcher -> Twilight
--> Rena -> Poetic Ranger -> Tale Spinner -> Prophetess

----

* ActionGirl: Fires arrows, kicks asses, set traps, or stabs with a knife. She gradually becomes a LadyOfWar as she advances to her second jobs, especially the Night Watcher and Twilight.
* AgonyOfTheFeet: Combat Ranger's Low Kick will leave the enemy with fractured bones[[note]]or, after a patch, leave them unable to run[[/note]].
* AnimalMotifs: Birds, as Grand Archer and Daybreaker.
* AntiAir: Her basic arrow combos can alternately end with her shooting a spread of arrows diagonally upward to act as this.
** Her basic skills Perfect Storm and Siege Mode can be used to hit airborne/higher opponents.
** Trapping Ranger's Humming Wind and Sniping Ranger's Arc Shot have wide vertical range to be used as this, as does Night Watcher's Trapping Arrow: Fungus (after a patch).
* ApologeticAttacker: Some of her lines has her feeling bad and apologizing to her opponents, either before or after she beats them.
* AttackReflector: Gains one after advancing to Wind Sneaker.
* BadassBack: Sniping Ranger and Grand Archer's {{Victory Pose}}s have her do this pose.
* BalanceBuff: Rena's skill update greatly improved Anemos' path PVE prowess, giving her more wide-area attack to be able to keep up with her other paths.
* TheBard: The Poetic Ranger, whose poems can commune with the spirit realm. She eventually integrates poetry with music to strengthen her connections with the spirits.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Very calm, kind, and understanding, but if you make her angry, it'd be best to run.
* BladeSpam: One of Night Watcher's skills has her [[DashAttack rushing forward]] and delivering multiple slashes with her blade.
* BlowYouAway: She has a number of wind-based skills especially the Anemos path who is most focused on this aspect aside from physical combat.
* BoobsAndButtPose: Trapping Ranger's official art has her posed this way.
* BootsOfToughness: Among Rena's advanced classes, Wind Sneaker wears boots and is tougher at physical combat - especially kicking - than her other classes Grand Archer and Night Watcher, who wear CombatStilettos.
* BowAndSwordInAccord: As Trapping Ranger. When she joined Night Saber, she was given a special sword named Erendil, which is said to have the power of Eldrasil the World Tree.
* BraidsOfAction: She ties her hair into braids as Twilight.
* {{Caltrops}}: Trapping Ranger's Briar Trap skill is pretty much this.
* ChargedAttack: Sniping Ranger's Rapid Shot can be charged to shoot more arrows.
* CleavageWindow: Trapping Ranger's outfit has one.
* CombatStilettos: As herself, Grand Archer and Night Watcher. While they don't kick much compared to Wind Sneaker (who wears flat-soled boots), they can still run swiftly on them.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A Ranger (obviously) by default. Grand Archer mixes it with Nuker, while Wind Sneaker has her switch into a Warrior, and Night Watcher is a JackOfAllTrades. All of her branches can also do support (with defensive buffs), but Wind Sneaker also has a healing/speed buff.
* CoolBigSis: Her teammates - Aisha in particular - see her as one.
* CoolSword: Gains one as Trapping Ranger, named Erendil.
* CoyGirlishFlirtPose: Grand Archer's VictoryPose uses a variant: she puts her arms on her knees, rather than behind her back.
* CriticalHitClass: One of Trapping Ranger's passive allows a number of her attacks in a combo to become consecutively critical, by chance.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow Sort of. While both her eyes and hair are yellow, her hair is more yellow-green while her eyes are bronze-yellow.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Grand Archer's Stigma Shot skill inflicts this.
* DCupDistress: She tries to find ways to shrink her increasing bust size. Total opposite of [[ACupAngst Aisha]].
* DeadlyGas: A variant of Night Watcher's Trapping Arrow skill releases traps that explode into this.
* DeadlyLunge: Trapping Ranger's "Fatality" skill. Night Watcher's "Call of Ruin" skill also ends with one.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: One of Wind Sneaker's passives randomly activates a special buff that increases her defense and resistance to elemental effects if she's struck with an attack.
* DestructibleProjectiles: Her normal arrow shots can be struck down with a well-timed melee attack. Though after a patch that's no longer the case.
* DifficultButAwesome: Like {{Trap Master}}s tend to be, Night Watcher is this. Her vast capabilities are really useful in skilled hands.
* DivingKick: She can do this after a DoubleJump.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: She walks sleazily, and her base job winning pose. Not to mention her sitting pose.
* DoubleJump
* ElementalPowers: Mainly [[BlowYouAway wind]], but she does occasionally use fire and ice attacks: Phoenix Strike, Night Watcher's Seed of Wrath, and Grand Archer's Freezing Arrow and Point Fire.
* EmeraldPower
* EnergyBow: Her bow [[InvisibleBowstring lacks a bowstring]] and she shoots arrows made of mana.
* {{Expy}}: To [[VideoGame/GrandChase Lire]].
* FairyCompanion: Gains one as Wind Sneaker, which will provide healing and other good buffs.
* FieldPowerEffect: As Wind Sneaker, her FairyCompanion will create a field with said effects.
* FluffyFashionFeathers: Grand Archer's dress is draped with lots of feathers.
* ForestRanger
* GiantPoofySleeves: Grand Archer and Daybreaker's outfit has 'em.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: In Trapping Ranger's intro pose and in her Karma skill, she does this to her enemies.
* GlassCannon: The Grand Archer/Daybreaker path specializes in constant long-range damage but isn't as nimble as Wind Sneaker or Night Watcher so getting caught up close spells disaster. In the arena this gets a bit worse for her as even with counter measures in the form of Guide Arrow, Wind Wall, Perfect Storm, Freezing Arrow and Cutlass Wind helping her keep distance from enemies both on the ground and in the air, common counters to her are Rune Slayer, Wind Sneaker, and Yama Raja thanks to the Phoenix Talon turning her normal and active skill projectiles into free MP for him, Reflect Kick that can reflect projectiles, Repel causing the same attacks to instead bounce back respectively at her forcing her to stay away by running or freezing them constantly. Although skilled players can still able to use her in close range effectively if her arrows are no-go.
* HealThyself: Her Perfect Storm skill, will leave trails of nature power that will heal her and allies for a few seconds and recovers a little MP.
** Wind Sneaker's Airelinna skill does this directly, along with giving speed buffs.
** One of Night Watcher's passive skills gives her slow HP recovery if she combos for long enough.
* HomingProjectile: One of her skills as Sniping Ranger. Her "Siege Mode" also allows her to shoot these. Transcendent Night Watcher's Rage Fungus also hits every single enemy that is visible on her screen when she uses it while restraining them from moving until the trap duration ends (minus mana breaking or attacking or in Aisha's case, Teleporting though she still can't run or walk until the duration ends). Grand Archer has more homing attacks like Guide Arrow and Wind
* IdenticalStranger: Raven says that Rena resembles his old fiancee.
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qcERzWtKZA "Always"]], an AlwaysWithYou song about Rena cherishing her time with her allies, hoping the times she spent will be unchanging in spite of everything that happens.
* InTheHood: As Twilight, she wears a feathery black cloak with a blue underside and a hood to lend to her more mysterious character.
* InvulnerableAttack: She's fully invincible during Combat Ranger's Rising Falcon skill.
* JackOfAllStats: Night Watcher's offensive stats are more balanced and while her defensive stats are somewhat lower than both of the main defense stat for Wind Sneaker (physical defense) and Grand Archer (magical defense), her defenses are overall much closer meaning that she doesn't really have a weakness in terms of physical or magical damage. She also is capable of performing equally well in ranged fights (Karma and Rage Fungus) or fighting up close (Traps, Fatality and Trapping Arrow).
* JackOfAllTrades: Her ability to use physical kicks, a bow, and wind and nature magic. Grand Archer also has ice magic and Trapping Ranger possesses a melee weapon, and both have traps. Additionally, she has considerable combo ability, attack power, agility, defense piercing, elemental resistance, and mana regeneration.
* KickChick: Her fighting style when not using her bow. The Combat Ranger path focuses more on this aspect of her.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Grand Archer wears a rather glamorous dress.
* LastChanceHitPoint: One of Wind Sneaker's passive lets her survive a lethal attack with 1 HP and forces a knockdown, allowing her to escape, as well as giving her a limited HealingFactor. The limitations is that this ability has a lengthy cooldown (though it decreases as the skill grows), so that if she gets hit again during the cooldown (without getting healed), she'll die. Status effects that deals DamageOverTime will also bypass this.
* LeapAndFire: Her basic skill Back Tumbling Shot has her jumping backwards and firing a spread of 3 arrows.
** Grand Archer's skill Aero Strafe lets her fire a very powerful arrow while doing an evasion leap.
* LightningBruiser: Specialty of Wind Sneaker, at least on the physical side of the spectrum. Very fast and agile, quick recovery movement from being knocked down and on top of that being very durable makes Wind Sneaker very strong. While she doesn't really have many means of fighting enemies who are far away, enemies who are too close to her often find themselves defeated pretty quickly. In the arena, aside from her high raw power (which she can easily boost), Wind Sneaker has the easiest attack loop to pull off which doesn't really give the opponent the mana to mana break which usually results with said victim being defeated or mana breaking when on the verge of being defeated should Rena get the first hit in.
* LongRangeFighter: Courtesy of her arrows, especially as Grand Archer.
* MageMarksman: She uses magic arrows as her projectiles and also commands nature forces to augment her strikes. Especially as Grand Archer.
* MiniDressOfPower: Her base job and Wind Sneaker wear this.
* MercurysWings: Grand Archer and Daybreaker have wing-like ornaments on their hair.
* MsFanservice: Big bouncy breasts, slim body, tall, suggestive pose walking, elven bloodline... yep, she's got it in the bag.
* NatureHero: She has shades of this.
* NoArcInArchery: With specific exceptions, all of her arrows will fly straight to wherever she aimed it.
* OneHitPolykill: She has a passive that makes her normal arrows pierce through a number of enemies in a line. Some of her skills also work like this.
* OnlySaneMan: Whenever Elsword and Aisha start arguing, Rena's usually the one who stops them.
* PointyEars: Natural for an elf.
* ProtagonistWithoutAPast: Initially, she's the only protagonist whose past is never revealed; rather, her story opens with her getting tasked with the elven elders to save the El Stone from falling to the wrong hands. After the Story update, she gets her own backstory.
* RainOfArrows: More like rain of giant spears, but her Gungnir skill fits this.
* RandomizedDamageAttack: Trapping Ranger's Fatality skill can either deal [[CriticalHit enormous damage]], normal damage, low damage or ([[CriticalFailure rarely]]) ScratchDamage.
* RazorWind: She can fire this from her feet as Combat Ranger.
** After an update, some of her special kick attacks as Wind Sneaker also generate this, as well as the Reflective Kick.
* RegeneratingMana: Can regenerate MP by standing still. One of Grand Archer's passives increases the rate of regen.
** One update introduced a system that allows her to regenerate her mana faster if she keep doing normal attacks (while also strengthening her defenses and empowering some of her skills).
* {{Roboteching}}: In Grand Archer's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r9sybJ2_nk Hunter's Destiny]] Hyper, [[MultidirectionalBarrage she shoots arrows in all directions]] which will then arcs and [[HomingProjectile homes in]] nearby opponents. Then she added a powerful charged arrow for a good measure.
* SexyBacklessOutfit: Grand Archer and to a lesser extent Wind Sneaker's outfits bare their backs.
* ShapingYourAttacks: One of her base skills has her shooting a fiery phoenix forward, burning any foe it comes across.
%%zce* SheFu
* ShockwaveStomp: One of her skills as Combat Ranger[[note]]After an update, it goes to Wind Sneaker[[/note]]. Said shockwave can stun enemies.
* SlideAttack: One of her basic moves. One of Combat Ranger's skills, and another one of Wind Sneaker's skills.
* SpamAttack: Combat Ranger's Dive Kick Bombing is her rushing forward and delivering multiple kicks.
* SphereOfDestruction: Her Aero Tornado skill. Also one of Sniping Ranger's skills and another one of Trapping Ranger's skills.
** Trapper Ranger's Evoke and its more powerful cousin from Night Watcher's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy0WhF4mcFM Innocent]] also work like this.
* SpikeBallsOfDoom: Night Watcher's Call of Ruin skill summons forth a number of these to impale the enemy. They also explode.
** Also two of her traps.
* SpikesOfDoom: One of her traps as Trapping Ranger.
* SpinAttack: One of Combat Ranger's combo moves. Also done in her Dive Kick Bombing skill.
* SplashDamage: Her Freezing Arrow: Drizzle does this, as well as SpreadShot[=/=]RecursiveAmmo.
* SpreadShot: Some of his normal arrow attacks and special skills has her shooting a spread of arrows.
* StanceSystem: The Siege Mode skill lets her fire stronger arrows, but forces her to be a sitting duck.
* StickyBomb: One of Night Watcher's skills change her arrows and some of her traps into this, which can be detonated remotely at once.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Trapping Ranger bares the most skin out of Rena's jobs.
* SuckingInLines: Appears when she regenerates MP.
* SummonToHand: As Trapping Ranger she can make her Erendil magically appear on her hand when she needs it.
* SuperMode: Wind Sneaker's Nature's Force lets her [[TheMagicTouch infuse her legs with nature magic]] to increase her attack power and extends her combos.
** Sniping Ranger's Hunter's Steadiness also works like this by her all arrow commands cost no MP, have increased range, and recover more MP.
* ThisIsADrill: Combat Ranger has 2 kinds of drilling kicks.
* ThreateningMediator: Rena, who's usually nice, becomes so angry at [[HeadbuttingHeroes Elsword and Aisha whenever they're butting heads with each other]] that the two are reduced into cowering in terror.
* ThreeStrikeCombo: Combat Ranger's Crescent Kick sends out 3 wind projectiles off her feet.
* TornadoMove: Her Perfect Storm skill.
** Wind Sneaker's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvdlVMZ3Xkc Spiral Strike]] Hyper exaggerates this with her running in SuperSpeed to create a giant tornado. She then adds [[ShockwaveStomp a powerful stomp attack]] for a good measure.
* TrapMaster: While Grand Archer has a trapping skill, Trapping Ranger excels more in this.
* TrickArrow: Piercing arrows, freezing arrows, exploding arrows, you got the deal.
* UpgradeArtifact: The Erendil Blade for Trapping Ranger, which lets her attack enemies in whole new ways.
* UselessUsefulSkill: Downplayed - Combat Ranger's Low Kick will leave the enemy unable to run. This works wonders in [=PvP=], but not in dungeons because the enemies can still be running even when hit by it.
* VagueAge: Her age is never specifically stated, but as an elf, she's OlderThanSheLooks; she once remarked that when she was as young as Elsword or Aisha, their great-great grandfathers hadn't even been born. That said, she acts more like a young lady in her early 20s.
* {{Vibroweapon}}: One of Grand Archer's passives induces this on her arrows.
* VSign: Combat Ranger's VictoryPose has her do this.
* WindIsGreen: She wears a lot of green and she's associated with the wind element. The Combat Ranger path's third advancement is even named Anemos, Greek word for wind.
* WreckedWeapon: Combat Ranger's Back Kick skill is a strong kick that can induce this to her opponent.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: Sniping Ranger's Wind Wall skill sucks in enemies in one place.
** Grand Archer's Hunter's Destiny skill now sucks in enemies after a patch.

-->''"Have I helped a little for the peace of this world...?"''

A Velder commoner who nevertheless crawled his way up and made the name of himself as the captain of his mercenary group. The aristocrats who heard of this were quick to frame him and get him jailed, but his loved ones managed to rescue him - only to have them killed by the Velder soldiers, and he himself got badly injured with an arm loss. Before he thought he'd die, a Nasod figure offered him power and rejuvenation, to which he agreed. After waking up and gaining a robotic arm, the Nasods controlled him via the arm to be their personal killing machine. That is, until he got beaten (and his senses got beaten back in) by Elsword and co; he now works alongside them in atonement for his sins.

Raven excels in close combat as he uses his Nasod arm to strike down enemies with a single blow to those who dare get near him. He also uses his sword to slice up anything in his path in order to build up all sorts of combos to tear down the enemy.

'''His job paths are as follows:'''
--> Raven -> Sword Taker -> Blade Master -> Furious Blade
--> Raven -> '''Over Taker''' -> '''Reckless Fist''' -> '''Rage Hearts'''
--> Raven -> Weapon Taker -> Veteran Commander -> Nova Imperator
--> Raven -> Venom Taker -> Mutant Reaper -> Revenant

----
* AgonyOfTheFeet:
** Blade Master's Cut Tendon skill will make its victim unable to run.
** Over Taker's Charged Bolt skill, after an update, can induce a similar effect.
* AloofAlly
* AloofBigBrother: Seen as this by Elsword.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: He appears very tanned compared to other characters for some reason.
* AmplifierArtifact: Unlike his other 2 job lines, the Weapon Taker line has him grafting many weapon parts onto his Nasod Arm to empower it. Later, he gets a flame generator and other magical artifacts that supports it to become a Veteran Commander.
* AnimalMotifs: The raven, of course.
* AnimeHair: Except for Blade Master.
* AntiAir: Over Taker line has skills Charged Bolt and Nuclear.
** See also {{Shoryuken}} examples below.
** Blade Master's Giga Drive is a minor example.
** In a way, Veteran Commander's Ignition Crow: Incineration can be used as this, as, while it is primarily a ranged attack skill, said crow is very large and can easily hit enemies of some height above him.
* ArmCannon: Raven can shoot fireballs from his Nasod arm. As the "Weapon Taker" he can go GatlingGood as one of his special skills.
* ArtificialLimbs: His Nasod arm.
* TheAtoner: The reason why he joins Elsword and co. is because he was tricked into becoming a killing machine for the Nasods, who brainwashed him through the robotic prosthetic arm they gave him under the pretense of healing his injuries. After he was freed (i.e. beaten up), he wanted to make up for the deaths he caused.
* AttackDrone: He gets one in his Awakening Mode, which aids in offense and defense.
** It launches during skill attacks as an assist (capable of [[OneHitPolykill piercing through many enemies in the process]]) and [[LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe shields him]] if he's attacked. The uses decrease its size while attacking normally increases it.
* BadassArmfold: One of his winposes as Weapon Taker.
* BadassBack: Both of his victory poses as himself. Blade Master gains another one, as does Veteran Commander.
* BadassLongcoat: As Blade Master.
* BadassTransplant: His Nasod Arm is the source of most of his abilities. Although as Blade Master he all but abandons it.
* BattleAura: In the Awakening Mode's maximum power, he's surrounded by [[SphereOfPower a circle aura]] that slowly damages the enemies nearby.
* BladeAcrossTheShoulder: One of Veteran Commander's win poses.
** Also in one of his custom idle poses.
* BladeSpam: One of Sword Taker's combos ends with this. Also Blade Master's skill Sonic Slash (after an update).
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: The first time you meet him, he is controlled by Nasod.
* TheBerserker: As the Reckless Fist. Though upon advancing to Rage Hearts, he is less enraged as he finally took control of his Nasod Arm and no longer struggle against it.
* BlingOfWar: As Weapon Taker, he wears a modified military dress uniform. Downplayed in that it still looks rather practical for what he does.
* ButtMonkey: Has been getting this treatment in recent Eltype bonus comics, in the [[AprilFoolsPlot truth-telling game]] as the OnlySaneMan and in Elesis' preview comic as an [[UnluckyEverydude unfortunate college student]]. Also see FlawedPrototype below.
* ButtonMashing: As Weapon Taker, this is how you "overheat" most skills.
* TheCaptain: He was one, of the [[PrivateMilitaryContractors Crow Mercenary Knights]]. The Weapon Taker path has him reclaiming his position, trying to restore his group's former glory.
** His various win lines in locations hint at his experience as he's pretty knowledgeable about many topics. He also likes to teach his group about battle tactics.
* ChargedAttack: Reckless Fist's skill Limit Crusher can be charged for greater damage and stun effect. Also his other skill Wild Charge.
* CommonCharacterClasses: By default, a mix of Warrior and Rogue. Blade Master goes further in that direction, while Reckless Fist adds in Nuker to the mix, and Veteran Commander adds in Support (through debuffs) to ''that'' mix.
* CoolAirship: The Black Crow, which is also his stage (where he's the boss).
* CraterPower: Reckless Fist's Limit Crusher is a haymaker going overboard that the ground gets updrafted in the process.
** Meanwhile Weapon Taker's Harpoon Spear creates a crater on the impact site of the spear.
* CriticalHitClass: Blade Master has a passive that increases CriticalHit rate.
* CriticalStatusBuff: One of the Over Taker's[[note]]then Blade Master's[[/note]] and Veteran Commander's passives give him a buff in attack and defense respectively when his health goes low.
* {{Cyborg}}: Raven is made into half Nasod half human to survive.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff[=/=]AntiArmor: After an update, Sword Taker has this skill.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Raven is betrayed by his kingdom, almost executed, rescued by his fiancee and friends [[DeathByOriginStory only to see them die before his eyes]] by the kingdom's army, losing his arm in the process and left to die. Then a group of Nasods find him and replace his arm with a robotic one fitted with a control device which soon drives him into a killing spree and then terrorizing a race of furry underground beings in the name of the Nasods with an airship. The only thing that saves him from all these is getting the crap kicked out of him by Elsword, Rena and Aisha, and even then he still has to live with it all in his memory.
* DarkIsNotEvil: The Over Taker line gives in to the Nasod Arm's influence and becomes violently insane, yet he still maintains to keep his mind in check (although Reckless Fist is hinted to have lost it). The Weapon Taker line, while also dresses "dark", has a more tempered mind.
* DarknessVonGothickname: "Raven", specifically.
* TheDarkSide: His Nasod arm constantly tried to turn him into a mindless killing machine. In his "Over Taker" subclass he continues using it, accepting his dark fate. As the "Sword Taker", he shuts down his arm, relying much less on it to prevent its rampage. Come the "Weapon Taker" subclass, however, the arm [[GameplayAndStorySegregation does not pose any problem]] other than overheating - the explanation is that he's outfitted said arm with various armaments, making it stronger while still suppressing its influence.
* DashAttack: Veteran Commander's Breaking Fist skill.
* DeadlyLunge: His Shadow Step skill, after an update, can press Z to do this.
** Blade Master's Wolf Fang also works like this.
* DeathByOriginStory: In his backstory, there's his old mercenary comrades and his fiance, all killed in one night by Velder soldiers.
* DeathFromAbove: Over Taker's Valkyrie Javelin skill has him descending down with a rain of exploding spears.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: During Awakening Mode, if your Nasod Core is big enough, it will automatically defend you from a finite number of attacks.
** One of Blade Master's passive will let him escape attacks from behind with a chance.
** Borderline example with one of Weapon Taker's passives which lets him reduce the StatusEffects' duration.
** Also with one of Veteran Commander's passive, which allows him to overheat without taking damage when his health go to a certain level.
* DefrostingIceKing: It is implied that he becomes less cold over time.
* DoesntTrustThoseGuys: As the Nasods are responsible for his right arm, he doesn't have high opinions on them and, at first, distrusts Eve. Though over time he slowly opens up to her; he thinks it's from Elsword's influence.
* DrivenToSuicide: The only thing keeping Raven from this point until he met Elsword and co. was the fact that the Nasods were using him.
* ElementalPunch: Weapon Taker's Barrage Attack and Veteran Commander's Breaking Fist skill.
** Veteran Commander's skill Deadly Raid has him doing this in rapid succession.
** One of Over Taker's combos (after a patch) lets him do an exploding punch. His Hell Dive skill also ends with a punch that releases multiple explosions.
** One of Reckless Fist's passives also gives him a chance for his punching attacks to release mini explosions.
* EtTuBrute: The one who got him framed was Alex, one of the Velder aristocrats, whom Raven considers a brother back then.
* EvilKnockoff: One of the Nasod bosses, Crow Rider, is a robot with a few of Raven's abilities.
* EvolvingWeapon: The Over Taker path shows the Nasod Arm changing shape as he depends more and more on it.
* {{Expy}}: To [[GrandChase Lass]]. Later Dio from the same game is an expy to him.
** From his backstory, his general concept (a swordsman with mechanical left arm) to his personality, he evokes [[Characters/BerserkGuts Guts]] of ''{{Manga/Berserk}}'' fame. His Over Taker line makes the resemblance clearer.
** Elements of his nature are similar to the Slayer Character from VideoGame/DungeonFighterOnline, with two classes focusing on swordsmanship and giving in the unusual arm.
* FaceOfAThug: His face always looks stern and menacing, and he's a good guy. Then again, he ''was'' a thug before.
* FacePalm: A few of his "lose" poses has him do this.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Thanks in part to his Nasod arm, but [[http://www.elwiki.net/wiki/images/Reckless2HQ.png Reckless Fist]] exemplifies this the most.
* FaustianRebellion[=/=]PhlebotinumRebel: After he's freed from the Nasod King's indirect influence (by his cybernetic left arm) by Elsword and co., the first thing he does is assisting them in taking down the Nasod King.
* FightsLikeANormal: In his Sword Taker line, he rarely uses his Nasod Arm to attack, and relies more on swordplay.
* FingerSnapLighter: Of the "fire held on palm" variety; Veteran Commander's intro pose has him do this.
* FistPump: His intro pose as himself and Weapon Taker have him do this with his Nasod Arm.
* FlamingSword: His Flame Sword skill, in which he sets his sword ablaze and smashes an opponent with it. Also Transcendent Veteran Commander's Bursting Blade skill.
* FlashStep: His Shadow Step skill.
* FlawedPrototype: Storyline-wise, serves as this to Crow Rider, who was built off of his combat data.
** Gameplay-wise, Raven has often been used to field test systems and game mechanics before {{Superior Successor}}s were given to other characters:
*** Blade Master had a small dip into LifeDrain territory with Bloody Accel, and Veteran Commander's Overheat system explored using CastFromHitPoints to boost the power of his attacks. These would both be combined into Crimson Avenger's character system, which negates the HP cost by draining HP.
*** Raven was given the first Core awakening system, with certain features being tweaked for Eve's version. Raven's core attacks on a delay, which can cause it to miss, while Eve's does not. Raven also used to be able to escape Core Shield with Shadow Step, an active skill with an associated cost and cooldown. Eve is still able to escape her Core Shield with a basic attack button press, with no cost or cooldown.
*** Blade Master is the first character to explore CooldownManipulation, having Giga Drive since Season 1 as a costly Special Active that only reduced the cooldowns on Active skills. There is now a preponderance of skills and passives that reduce cooldowns with simpler conditions.
*** Shared with Elsword, Raven was one of the first characters to have access to KD-resetting X-Drops. As more characters were released, their X-drops had launch properties that made them easier to use, to the point that Add's had to get nerfed due to abuse, and Chung's, Ara's, and Elesis' are still extremely easy to use. This has resulted in the KD-resets of all characters being nerfed to KD-reduction, or even adding to KD values, instead.
*** Escape systems were first explored with his Core system and Emergency Evacuation before that. They were given to more and more characters with easier conditions, though it wasn't until Ain's release that it became obvious how damaging they were. Destruction Mode, Autoguard->Roll, Core Shield->Shadow Backslide, Stoic Strong, Annihilation Mode, Western Fire, Fragarach, and Elfe all lost their ability to be used as Escape buttons in a massive blanket nerf. Shadow Step was hit especially hard, as you can no longer escape Core Shield with it, and the Shadow Backslide property was removed entirely.
*** Veteran Commander was the first character to use the Bleed debuff, and the skill has since been moved to Blade Master. It is still one of the least efficient means of stacking Bleed [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/GameBreaker/Elsword compared to what other characters have access to.]]
* FoeTossingCharge: His Power Assault skill.
* ForceAndFinesse: While other characters have this dynamic in their class changes to differing extents, Reckless Fist and Blade Master (respectively) show it the most. Veteran Commander, meanwhile, takes both approaches on average.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: He struggles to keep his Nasod arm in control, yet he can still be played just fine, even as "Reckless Fist". As "Blade Master", he still uses his arm freely but much less often than his other classes.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Over Taker's Nuclear skill has him do this.
* GoodLookingPrivates: As Weapon Taker.
* GoodScarsEvilScars
* GlassCannon: Veteran Commander comes closest to this if only due to his Overheat system. While he does have passives that decrease damage taken and offer him increased elemental resistance, it's usually when his HP is low enough to where enemies can defeat him with ease. However, he does have very high damaging skills on both sides unlike Blade Master and Reckless Fist and he generally can clear out most enemies even when low on HP.
* GroundPunch: Over Taker's Valkyrie Javelin and Veteran Commando's Ground Impact skill (the latter also counts as ShockwaveStomp). He also have 2 normal moves that does this.
** Veteran Commando's Giga Prominence skill.
* HeartbrokenBadass
* HeelFaceTurn: After Elsword and co. saves him from the control device.
* HoldingBackThePhlebotinum: He does this as Sword Taker, relying less on his cursed arm. By the time he becomes the Blade Master, said arm becomes almost useless to him as he has many stronger skills with his sword.
* HyperspaceArsenal: The "Weapon Taker" class allows him to use a variety of weapons including gatling guns and grenades.
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wO_7TBjqY4 "Redemption"]], a somber song of Raven's journey of atonement.
* InjuredVulnerability: One of Over Taker's passives increases damage output when the enemy's health goes low.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: His sword as Sword Taker and especially Blade Master has a katana-esque shape.
* KnightInSourArmor: His worldview might have been weary and jaded, but he still strives to fight for a better world.
* LifeDrain: His Bloody Accel skill lets his normal attacks absorb HP from his enemies.
* LightningBruiser: Odd example in Reckless Fist. Despite having little ranged attacks outside of Wild Charge and Valkyrie Javelin, he has pretty even defenses and can reawaken even when awakened which can throw off the timing of enemies should his Nasod Core be shielding him as he can awaken and rewaken with it up. While most of his normal attacks do magical damage and his skill pool doing primarily magical damage, Reckless Fist can rack up a lot of damage in a short span of time to where the damage done can't be stopped.
* TheLostLenore: Somewhat as a reference to Edgar Allan Poe's poem that originated it (The Raven), he has one in form of Seris, his fiancee who was killed along with his old mercenary group, and in the present he breaks out of his crazed mind when he sees someone who resembles her (Rena). Downplayed though in that it doesn't affect him much beyond that.
* MagicFromTechnology: His Nasod arm can use magic.
* MagicKnight: More like [[MagicFromTechnology Techno-magic]] Knight, but he still counts. Averted as Blade Master, however.
* MasterSwordsman: As the Blade Master, and especially as Furious Blade.
* MeaningfulName: He's named Raven and he usually dresses in all black. He also was the leader of the Crow Mercenary Knights, and one of his skills summons a crow to burn his enemies.
* MegatonPunch: One of Over Taker's combos ends with this.
** Also Reckless Fist's Wild Charge with it being [[ChargedAttack chargeable]] and [[InvulnerableAttack you're invulnerable while charging it]].
** After an update, Reckless Fist gains another one called Limit Crusher that is also chargeable and can stun enemies.
** One of Veteran Commander's skills is basically this, done 4 times or more in succession.
* MilkingTheGiantCow: Over Taker's intro pose has him do this.
* MirrorMoralityMachine: Closer to the point of what the Nasod device in Raven's robotic arm does to him at times.
* MoreDakka: As the "Weapon Taker", having modified his arm to be a hand cannon along with his sword.
* MrFanservice: Very noticeable in his second jobs. "Blade Master" looks sophisticated and handsome. "Reckless Fist" and "Veteran Commander" gives him a bad-boy look. Suitable for different type of fans of any gender. He's also the most muscular of the male playable characters to boot.
* {{Overheating}}: As the Weapon Taker, Raven risks overheating himself should he abuse his Nasod arm, which can be used tactically but [[CastFromHitPoints does damage on himself]] and burns him. As Veteran Commander, he no longer has to worry about getting burned, though overheat attacks will still use HP.
** CombatBreakdown: After a certain HP threshold, he can't overheat his skills anymore until he's healed. One of his passives lower that threshold per skill level, though.
* OverratedAndUnderleveled: He starts at level 1 like the others despite [[ExperiencedProtagonist being touted as a skillful mercenary]] and was a Lv 32 boss.
* PhysicalScarsPsychologicalScars: His scar-filled body and missing left arm are tied into different parts of his backstory, both of which are what forms him into what he is now.
* PlayingWithFire: "Veteran Commander", "Over Taker" and "Reckless Fist" spam lots of explosions and fires, but the former is the most prevalent -- it can overheat, which damages him.
** Veteran Commander's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ilkhWxkV8o Burning Buster]] Hyper.
* PowerBornOfMadness[=/=]WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: His Nasod arm induces his rage and madness so that said arm could feed on said madness. As Reckless Fist he's almost lost it.
* PowerLimiter: He has one attached to his arm as Over Taker in order to control it better. It seems to no longer work as he becomes Reckless fist.
* RedArmbandOfLeadership: Weapon Taker wears one as a sign of him reviving his old mercenary group.
* RedemptionPromotion: He as a playable character, obviously, is much better than he as a boss. Possibly justified in that being freed from his constrains allows him to expand his abilities.
* RestrainingBolt: The Nasod Arm prevents him to attempt suicide when he's still under its influence.
* ReverseGrip: Some of his attacks and poses has him do this with his blade.
* RightHandOfDoom: More like Left Hand of Doom, but his Nasod arm qualifies. Made more striking with Reckless Fist's hyper [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vo-uFDldZPE Infernal Arm]] where it turns demonic-looking.
* RollingAttack[=/=]{{Shoryuken}}: One of Sword Taker's combos ends with a Shoryuken.
** Meanwhile, one of Veteran Commando's combos has him rolling through his opponent, damaging them in the process, and then attacks them InTheBack.
** Transcendent Veteran Commander's [[FlamingSword Bursting Blade]] skill has him floating upwards while delivering multiple circular slashes.
* RuggedScar: His body is CoveredWithScars and he's also a grizzled, experienced veteran who has witnessed many tragedies in his life (including surviving the death of his family).
* ScarsAreForever: Except for the one on the right side of his chin. That one disappears from his in-game model and is distributed for all characters to use as a RareRandomDrop.
* SeanConneryIsAboutToShootYou: Veteran Commander's SuperMovePortaitAttack is him pointing his ArmCannon at you.
* SeenItAll[=/=]TaughtByExperience: Many of his victory quotes mention about his experiences of dealing with similar threats in the past.
* SelfMadeMan: Was one in the backstory.
* SerratedBladeOfPain: As Veteran Commander, his blade has lots of jagged edges.
* ShapingYourAttacks: Veteran Commander's Ignition Crow lets him fire off a fiery crow forward.
* ShellShockedVeteran
* SingleStrokeBattle: Some of his attacks as Sword Taker and Blade Master has him slashing past his enemy and delivering multiple delayed strikes.
* SituationalDamageAttack: Sword Taker's [[SingleStrokeBattle Hypersonic Stab]] skill does more damage to the individual enemies if more of them are caught in the line. After a patch this trait was removed and replaced with a normal damage modifier regardless of enemies being hit.
* SphereOfDestruction: His "Maximum Cannon" skill.
* SpikeBallsOfDoom: Over Taker's "Charged Bolt" skill.
* SpikesOfDoom: A few of Over Taker's combos lets him sprout metal spikes from the ground to harm his enemies.
* SpreadShot: Of the spray burst variety by one of Weapon Taker's skills.
* StartingANewLife: From a simple mercenary with a relatively happy life, to a brainwashed slave of the Nasods (and leader of a new mercenary group), to an ally of Elsword and friends in their adventures.
* StoneWall: While faster than the trope, Blade Master's damage output isn't as potent as the other two but makes up for it by having much better survivability thanks to Bloody Accel and having good ranged attacks and superior speed. Having a good physical defense stat also helps him fight most enemies as they tend to do physical damage. In general, Blade Master specializes in surviving and doing increased damage over time instead of inflicting a lot of damage in an instant.
* SticksToTheBack: One of Weapon Taker and Veteran Commander's {{Victory Pose}}s have him putting his sword to his back, without any visible straps.
* StuffBlowingUp: His "Over Taker" and "Weapon Taker" subclasses onwards rely on lots and lots of explosions. The former can even summon a frickin' ''[[NukeEm Nuclear ICBM]]''.
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: He has gold eyes and he was involved with the Nasod's experiments, in particular his left arm.
** It was implied in one of his end-of-dungeon quotes that his eyes possibly are Nasod augmentations as well, as he mentions being able to see in the dark, and his eyes were darker-colored in his backstory.
* SuperMode:
** His awakening mode has a few extra perks; see AttackDrone above.
*** Over Taker/Reckless Fist can learn a passive to manually extend the awaken timer provided that he can gain another awakening orb during the mode.
** Blade Master's Bloody Accel, which increases the damage he deals and [[LifeDrain leeches a portion of the enemy's HP every time he attacks]] as well as crippling them.
** Also the same class, his Giga Drive also increases the damage he deals while negating the cooldown on some of his skills.
* SuperSpeed: Whether it's movement speed or attack speed, his various skills from the Sword Taker line uses plenty of this trope.
** Taken to the next level with Blade Master's hyper, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEV13fiTVVo Extreme Blade]].
* SwipeYourBladeOff: One of Blade Master's win poses has him do this.
* SwordAndFist: His playstyle involves using a one-handed sword and his robotic left arm. Depending on his class choices, he'll opt to use his sword or his left arm more.
* SwordBeam: One of Sword Taker's skills, which have 2 variants.
* SwordPlant: Blade Master's Giga Drive starts with this. Also one of his and Reckless Fist's win poses.
* SwordPointing: Blade Master's intro pose ends with him doing this.
* TakeAThirdOption: His "Weapon Taker" class can be seen as this. With how the Over Taker has him relying on the Nasod Arm's power, while the Sword Taker has him suppressing it, relying on his own skills. The Weapon Taker allows him to still use the Nasod Arm, but suppressing it with various armaments.
* TallDarkAndHandsome
* ThreeStrikeCombo: Over Taker's Megadrill Break is 2 blade stab followed by [[ThisIsADrill a drill strike]].
** Meanwhile Veteran Commander's Deadly Raid normally is a 3-hit exploding punches, but you can choose to make him do more punches during the move. Transcendent Veteran Commander's Bursting Blade is a 3-hit flying slashes.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: One of Weapon Taker's skills lets him throw 3 grenades that will burn the opponent.
** After an update, his basic skill Shadow Step, when final enhanced, he can do this by pressing X button.
* ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks: Some of Over Taker and Weapon Taker's skills revolves around this. With exploding spears, to be exact.
* TooManyBelts: Weapon Taker and Veteran Commander have many belts on their design. Also Reckless Fist to an extent.
* TremorTrampoline: One of Reckless Fist's combo has him diving with a punch from the air, knocking nearby foes upward in the process.
* UselessUsefulSkill: Downplayed - Blade Master's Cut Tendon works similarly to Combat Ranger's upgraded Low Kick (see in her own section above). Useful in [=PvP=], useless in dungeons.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: As his base job.
* WeCanRebuildHim: His backstory involves this.
* WhenHeSmiles: [[PerpetualFrowner We never actually see him smile in-game]], but the supplementary comic has Rena saying that he has a handsome smile. He does smile at one time in the comic, but it was in [[AllJustADream Aisha's dream.]]
** He does smile once in-game, in the "Altera Clear" video when the El Search Party finally regains the El Stone they were searching for.
* WorkingForABodyUpgrade: More like he's forced to work by Nasod King after he gains his body upgrade.
* WreckedWeapon: Over Taker's skill Weapon Crash does this to his opponents, leaving them with reduced attack power debuff.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: Reckless Fist's Infernal Arm hyper drags his enemies towards him upon activation.

-->''"You will now face the queen of Nasods."''

Back when humans and the robotic race Nasods coexisted peacefully, Eve was standing among them as an upper-class Nasod. However, as the power of El began to weaken and the Nasods lost their power source, they sought help from the humans, but they were denied help - cue the war between the two societies. The few ancient Nasods, including Eve, sealed themselves after losing to the humans. Thousands of years later and she awoke in the new present time; she used her old knowledge and remaining energy to power the King Nasod and the rest of her kin. Years passed and the Nasods grew corrupted and no longer acknowledged Eve as they continue waging wars with the humans - before Elsword and co. slain them all. Left alone in the present once again, she decided to regain the power of El to revive her race and joined Elsword and co. after he befriended her.

Eve may not look tough like the others, but she uses her powers of machinery to take down enemy forces for her. Since Eve is the Queen of Nasod, she can summon nasods from her kingdom to aid her in her battle whenever she wishes.

'''Her job paths are as follows:'''
--> Eve -> Code: Exotic -> Code: Nemesis -> Code: Ultimate
--> Eve -> '''Code: Architecture''' -> '''Code: Empress''' -> '''Code: Esencia'''
--> Eve -> Code: Electra -> Code: Battle Seraph -> Code: Sariel
--> Eve -> Code: Unknown -> Code: Failess -> Code: Antithese

----
* AngelsPose: One of Code: Empress' {{Victory Pose}}s has her and her two Nasod servants pose like this.
* AntiAir: One of her normal moves is her shooting an energy ball to the air, acting as this and a LauncherMove.
** Code: Architecture line has Sonic Wave, Heaven's Fist (both versions), and, as Code: Empress, Spitfire.
** Code: Nemesis has Iron Scraps. One of her normal moves also rockets her upwards to hit enemies.
** For Code: Electra, skills that are augmented by El Crystal Spectrum can be aimed upwards (or downwards) at an angle. Her Photon Flare (a sudden flash of light) can also be used as this. She also has the Particle Ray which, in addition being able to be augmented, sweeps from ground level to the sky.
* ArtificialStupidity: Sadly, her summon units suffer from this, so much that an update gave Code: Architecture the skill Fayner, where she marks the closest target to make all her summons attack marked target within duration.
* AttackDrone: Her main form of attack is by deploying the two drones that always fly alongside her. They also help her doing DoubleJump. There's also her Dimension Link - Sentry skill, which summons the Nasod Sentry mook to aid her.
** Code: Battle Seraph's Thousand Stars skill also create one that shoots mini beams as she attacks.
** Also her Energy Needles which is similar to the above, but fires independently.
** After an update, Eve gained a special core system that is activated upon Awakening Mode, highly similar to Raven's in function.
* BadassArmFold: One of Code: Architecture's win poses has her do this.
* BattleButler: Oberon and Ophelia, for Eve's "Code: Architecture" and "Code: Empress" classes.
* BeamSpam: The Code: Electra path's strategy and skills involves firing lots and lots of laser beams.
* BecameTheirOwnAntithesis: The main theme of the Code: Unknown class path. As Eve, a gynoid created to understand human emotions and bridge the gap between machine and human, relies more and more on a strange, bug-ridden code, her mind twists, her empathy atrophies and her personality becomes merciless and selfish. Her final class advancement, fittingly named Code: Antithese, is an Eve who will only accept things going her way and destroy anyone who objects, [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness as her drone Remy came to tragically find out]].
* {{BFG}}: Code: Exotic's Hornet Sting skill has her pulling out a bazooka and fires a shot from it.
* BladeSpam: One of Code: Nemesis' combos ends with her jamming a lot of spears to the victim. Code: Architecture's Oberon can also do this.
* BlindedByTheLight: One of Code: Electra's skills acts much like a flashbang, causing the opponent's screen to go all white.
* BoobsAndButtPose: Code: Battle Seraph's SuperMovePortraitAttack has her pose like this. Although she isn't exactly well groomed in the former department.
* BringIt: Code: Exotic's intro pose has her do this.
* BrokenBird
* ButtMonkey: Oberon often ends up in the butt of jokes if Code: Architecture loses. Fandom follows this as well.
* CastFromHitPoints: One of her skills involves sacrificing a small amount of HP to be [[DivertingPower converted into MP]].
** Code: Unknown's Negative Code boost skill damage at cost of life at every cast when it reaches level 2.
* ChargedAttack: Her Mega Electron Ball skill can be charged to make the projectile stronger and bigger.
** One of Code: Electra's skills can be hold down before release. It damages enemies who came close as she charges the attack and carrying them away when released.
** Also one of Code: Battle Seraph's skills.
* CombatStilettos: As her second jobs, but especially Code: Battle Seraph. Then again, she airdashes instead of runs.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A Nuker by default, with a touch of Support. Code: Nemesis is a JackOfAllTrades (except for the long-ranged compartment), while Code: Empress and Code: Battle Seraph adds Warrior and Ranger (respectively) to the mix.
* CoolChair: She can use her drones as a makeshift chair in some of her poses, but as Code: Nemesis she can conjure a stylized metal chair out of nowhere and then slouch on it.
* CoolCrown: As expected from Code: Empress. Meanwhile Battle Seraph has an energy crown.
* CoolHelmet: Oberon wears one. So cool that even Code: Architecture's drones are stylized after it.
* CriticalHitClass: Code: Nemesis, with one of her passives that allows her buff skills to improve her the recipient's CriticalHit rate and damage.
** Minor example in Code: Empress' passive (after an update) that increases the critical hit chance of her summoned servants' attacks.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Code: Nemesis' Atomic Shield skill, after a patch, can induce this on the enemies within range.
* DarkActionGirl: Code: Antithese is the most villainous of her paths, having become obsessed with being right and will eliminate any of her oppressors who dare to say otherwise.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She woke up as the Queen of Nasods after the war between humans and Nasods had ended in the humans' win, and found that she was the only Nasod left. After wandering alone and experiencing the human emotion of "loneliness", she found the broken Core which could potentially reactivate the Nasods if it was reactivated. She went into a hibernation state and sacrificed all her energy in order to supply enough energy to power it.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite the Code: Exotic path having a dark aesthetic and the ominous-sounding title "Queen of Destruction", she's not at all evil, and is more focused on turning herself into a living weapon to protect her kingdom when it's restored.
* DeathFromAbove: Code: Nemesis' Spear Burst skill has her descending from above, attacking with exploding spears. Code: Architecture has Heaven's Fist - Pressure, which is a gigantic fist from the heavens. Code: Unknown's Heaven's Fist - Abandoned similarly summons a gigantic fist, but then lets the disembodied arm topple over like a pillar.
* DeathOfAThousandCuts: Code: Battle Seraph has "Thousand Stars", which creates a barrage of orbs, each dealing minimal damage but also a barrage of fifty of them.
** Her Energetic Heart skill will turn any of her laser/energy ball attacks into this.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: During Awakening Mode, if your Nasod Core is big enough, it will automatically defend you from a finite number of attacks.
* DeflectorShields[=/=]DeployableCover: One of her skills as the Code: Nemesis. Oberon also has another variant.
* DifficultButAwesome: Code: Nemesis, with her attacks covering limited range and slow executions, but when mastered, others will have a hard time keeping up with her power and speed.
* DoppelgangerAttack: Her basic skill Photon Blink has her make a body double out of PureEnergy that will deal damage to anything touching it. Though the way it is used, it's more of a Doppelganger Defense[=/=]Evasion.
* ElegantGothicLolita: As Code: Exotic.
* EmotionSuppression: Code: Battle Seraph deactivated her emotions within her in order to grow stronger, as her programming evolved to the point where it conflicted with her emotions core to the point of shutting down completely as Code: Sariel.
* EmotionlessGirl: As a Nasod, it is justified for her to be emotionless. However, she dropped this as Code: Esencia as she gained more human emotions.
* EnergyBall: Her Electronballs.
* EnergyWeapon: A lot of Code: Electra's attacks involve laser beams, making Aisha's "Void Princess'" Plasma Cutter pale in comparison. Code: Battle Seraph can even do curvy laser beams. Her special drone (Awakening mode only) after an update will fire a continuous laser whenever she performs an attack skill. In Awakening mode's max power, the laser can do SplashDamage.
* EvilMakeover: Code: Unknown and Code: Failess have reasonably elegant outfits, but her looks upon becoming Code: Antithese scream "Evil, psychotic, tyrannical queen", complete with an arrogant and malicious smile worthy of Snow White's stepmother.
* {{Expy}}: To ''[[VideoGame/GrandChase GrandChase]]'''s Mari.
* FacialMarkings
* {{Foil}}: Code: Antithese serves as this towards Code: Esencia and Code: Sariel in some ways.
** On Code: Esensia, Antithese is a tyrannical queen and a complete opposite of Esencia, a benevolent empress that rules with unity. Ironically, Antithese has a passive that gives her boost when in same party of Esencia.
** Unlike Code: Sariel who has great mobility and flight through her advanced jet boosts, Antithese lost the boosts and became more ground-bound. Also, Antithese is more emotional compared to the emotionless Sariel.
* FullContactMagic: She performs a lot of moves to move her drones around to smack enemies.
* GiantHandsOfDoom: Code: Architecture's Heaven's Fist skill, which has 2 variants.
* GiantPoofySleeves: Downplayed with Code: Nemesis and Code: Battle Seraph's outfits.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: Code: Battle Seraph does this in her intro pose. One of regular Eve's SuperMovePortraitAttack (as well as Battle Seraph's custom one) has her in this pose, too.
* GlassCannon: Her passive and active skills generally improves her attack power and/or speed, and she has only one option of defense: Code: Nemesis' Atomic Shield. Otherwise she can be taken down quickly, assuming one manages to hit her that is.
** Code: Battle Seraph features what is easily the fastest mobility over any Eve both on ground and in the air. While quite fragile thanks to her defenses being quite thin (she does have the highest magical defense stat of the three though), her speed is only matched by Freyja in the air alone meaning that knocking a Battle Seraph out of the air is quite the challenge if you try lack anti-air skills. While none of her skills stand out as strong outside of Giga Stream and Psychic Artillery, Code: Battle Seraph easily has the ability to weaken mobs in little time thanks to Energetic Heart and Energy Needles. Even with her damage output being lower than Nemesis and Empress in the arena, a skilled Battle Seraph can easily allow her allies to get the field advantage thanks to her Hyper Optical Research passive (the one that allows HomingProjectile) and Energetic Heart also helps trapping/catching opponents, as well as Photon Flare's blinding effect being quite undesirable since those blinded are unable to see their surroundings until the effect starts to wear off. It and Photon Flash are the only defensive tool a Battle Seraph might have while her other two classes have more; she's also more MP-consumptive than the other two.
** Code: Antithese took it further through her Negative code which boosts her power and speed at cost of life and defense as it levels up, as well as her passives that gives her additional power boost but also increases damage she takes.
* GoodWingsEvilWings: She gained large metallic black wings as Code: Ultimate, and a pair of energy wings as Code: Sariel.
* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: Oberon and Ophelia works like this.
* HealThyself: Her ability Code: Recovery, where she can extract energy from MP to gain HP. This ability will grant additional effects after Eve advances to her 1st Job class, and is name-changed to reflect its upgraded effect.
** Code: Exotic's Code: Recovery gains "Trick Key". She gains more power and an improved glide.
** Code: Architecture's Code: Recovery gains "Attention". She can gather all of her summoned units. If there are no summon units, [[ReducedManaCost the next summon skill's MP usage will be halved]].
** Code: Electra's Code: Recovery gains "Breaker". [[ArmorPiercingAttack She can break shields easily when her attacks passing through a Force Field]].
** Code: Unknown's Code: Recovery gains "Awake". When Eve uses certain skills in this class, she suffers various debuffs due to accessing buggy code. [[AntiDebuff Awake purges the bugs, and the debuffs with them]].
* TheHighQueen: Achieves this status as Code: Essencia, ruling with benevolence as the White Empress of Nasod that strives to co-exist with humankind.
* HyperspaceArsenal: Code: Exotic's main gimmick; she can pull off many things, from spears to bazookas to drills and many more.
* IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: As Eve goes through the Code: Unknown class line, her drone Remy tries to purge the bugs in Eve and Moby's code in a desperate attempt to bring the old Eve back. It fails miserably.
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxetA44RP3U "Glory"]], Eve's song reminiscing her fallen world, but hanging on to the hope of keeping the future alive.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Her Assault Spear skill, owned by both Code: Nemesis and Code: Empress, works like this.
* {{Irony}}: In her quest for reviving her kind, she teams up with the very group who slays them.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Fittingly for a queenly figure, Code: Empress wears some regal dress for battle.
* LaserCutter: Code: Electra possesses these as part of her combos.
** There's also the Linear Divider skill, after an update.
* LastOfHerKind[=/=]LivingRelic: She was the only Nasod alive after Elsword and co. destroys the Nasod King and the rest of her kin.
* LightningBruiser: Each of her classes sport this in one or more ways for both [[PlayerVersusPlayer PvP]] and PvE although Code: Nemesis also is closer to a GlassCannon while Code: Battle Seraph is more of a FragileSpeedster leaving Code: Empress as the main class for Eve to be in this trope.
** Code: Nemesis sports nearly equal speed with Code: Battle Seraph when she isn't air dashing making her incredibly mobile, in addition to having the most balanced defense distribution of the three classes, makes Nemesis one of the best frontline fighters. While her skills generally focus on the area close by, her Black Hole Generator skill has a very huge vacuum range that pulls in enemies who are offscreen if they can be spotted by stepping forward a bit. With the Transcendence feature added, Code: Nemesis rivals Code: Empress for equally high mana regeneration while being more mobile compared to the latter's damage buff. Nemesis also has the all-to-happy privilege of being able to continuously reset her combos on her enemies in the arena thanks to her skills often resetting the knockdown counter. Having high damage all around with incredibly high mobility, especially with Queen's Throne makes a skilled Nemesis a dangerous enemy in the arena and a strong ally in dungeons.
** Code: Empress has higher physical defense than her other two classes while having lower magical defense as a result. While her performance in the arena is pretty risky compared to her other two classes if only due to the AI for the summons being pretty bad, her ability to maintain a constantly high mana regeneration when under a very skilled player makes the AIs poor actions less problematic given that the summons (minus Ferdinand) give Eve a boost to her mana regeneration whenever they actually hit an enemy. In dungeons, thanks to the summons being unable to be killed thanks to them having 'infinite' health on top of the mana regeneration boost they give Eve when they hit an enemy means that she can constantly resummon her staple Nasods (Oberon, Ophelia and Scout) before their duration runs out. With Nasod Battery [[note]]giving a maximum chance of 40~50% of her most recently used non-Hyper Active/Marriage skill not having its cooldown timer activated and being able to use her constantly summonable Nasods to be used as shields[[/note]], it gives Code: Empress a solid edge on survivability compared to Code: Nemesis and Code: Battle Seraph inside dungeons. Overall Code: Empress is one of Eve's best solo options for dungeons since most enemies will target her summons instead of her, taken further to where Ferdinand's ability to make non-Boss AIs prioritize him over Eve.
* LeotardOfPower: as Code: Battle Seraph.
* LonerTurnedFriend
* LongRangeFighter: As Code: Electra, having developed lasers from El energy to attack from afar.
* LostTechnology: She is a Nasod after all.
* MachineMonotone: Most of her speeches are in monotone.
* MagicFromTechnology: She specializes in this.
* MiniDressOfPower: As Code: Nemesis, where she evolves to create ancient Nasod weaponry.
* ModestyShorts: Code: Electra wears one beneath her NakedApron-like outfit.
* MoreDakka: One of Code: Exotic's skills has her pulling out a machine gun and shooting it in a SpreadShot.
** AlphaStrike: Code: Nemesis' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw0_n2A87Ys Lunatic Scud]] Hyper adds MacrossMissileMassacre, BeamSpam and StormOfBlades to the mix.
* MovesetClone: To some extent, some of Code: Empress' combos and skills (with Oberon) is similar to Blade Master.
* MultiDirectionalBarrage: Code Nemesis' Iron Scraps is basically deadly shrapnel going off to all directions.
* MysticalWaif: She's ReallySevenHundredYearsOld, the last ancient Nasod, seems distant and hard to talk to (due to her status and the fact that she can barely understand emotions and human customs, as well as her perpetually emotionless face), and excels in (techno)magic. Oh, and she's Add's object of pursuit, particularly for her inner programming code.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She's white-haired and she was the lone survivor of the ancient-type Nasod out there, which were believed to be more advanced than today's time. She's also another prominent magic user.
* NeverMyFault: Code: Unknown path insists Eve is a perfect Nasod and never makes mistakes.
* NoBrows: Probably due to being a robot, Eve lacks eyebrows.
* {{Ojou}}: Naturally, being Queen of Nasods, but as Code: Empress it's emphasized more.
* OneHitPolykill: Code: Exotic' Hornet Sting (Shaped Charge Awakened Trait) and Code: Nemesis' Assault Spear (Judgement) have this effect.
* OrbitingParticleShield: Code: Exotic's Metal Dust Aura skill.
* PainfullySlowProjectile: Code: Electra's Kugelblitz skill launches a big, slow energy ball that will continuously hurt enemies on its way.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: The Code: Exotic and Code: Electra paths both aim to improve herself in the name of restoring her kingdom, in different ways. Code: Ultimate has mastery over ancient weaponry, transcending the limits she never knew she had and becoming the Queen of Destruction. Code: Sariel shuts down her emotions to have mastery over El energy, becoming the Queen of Radiant Lights.
* PowerCrystal: She has one on her forehead.
* PoweredByAForsakenChild: In a sense. Eve had to shut herself down and use her own energy to power the Nasod King and his subjects. She was only rebooted when the Nasod King was destroyed. The twist is that she's willing to do all of this because she's a robot.
* PowerFloats: As she advances up through her jobs, her idle stances change into her slightly floating above the air. She also floats during certain intro poses and {{Victory Pose}}s.
* PowerSource: Eve to the Nasod King, as stated above. Also, the latter turns to the El Stone stolen from Ruben and installs it into his Powertrain.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Being an ancient robot and all.
* RegeneratingMana: Thankfully for Code: Empress, after an update, on of her passive allow to regenerate MP when there are summons around her. Another passive also allows Code: Empress to regenerate mana whenever one of her summons (minus Ferdinand) attacks an enemy successfully.
* ReiAyanamiExpy: Odd-colored hair and eyes? Check. Mystical and mysterious? Check. Young-looking? Check. Not human? Check. Seemingly emotionless and then realizing about emotions within herself? Double check.
* ReverseShrapnel: Code: Battle Seraph's Thousand Star can send out a cluster of small energy balls that will then proceed to home in to the designated opponent all at once.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobot: The only way to tell her she is a Nasod is her [[SupernaturalGoldEyes glowing golden eyes.]]
** Especially ridiculous considering that the other Nasods we see in the game is really robotic, even King Nasod. Even if she comes from ancient times, the "ancient Nasods" found in Hamel stages are revealed to be... golems.
* {{Roboteching}}[=/=]HomingLaser: Code: Battle Seraph, with a passive ability, can make her energy attacks curve and home in to opponents at the expense of power.
* RobotGirl
* RobotMaster[=/=]AssistCharacter: A number of her skills involves summoning varying kinds of robots to aid her in battle. The Code: Architecture job path focuses on this aspect of her.
** Code: Empress has [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYYuII31l68 Code: Thunderbolt]] hyper where she summons her "trump card", Ferdinand, which acts as her bodyguard for a minute.
* RunningGag: She's known for slapping Elsword a lot.
* SexyBacklessOutfit: The Code: Electra path all have backless outfits, though it's harder to notice in Code: Electra's outfit due to her hair.
* ShapingYourAttacks: Minor variant: one of her normal moves has her create a triangle made of light and then throw it forward. 1 of Code: Electra's skills also create similar triangles.
* ShockwaveStomp: One variant of Code: Architecture's Heaven's Fist makes a heavy tremor on the impact site that can stun its victims.
* ShoutOutThemeNaming: All of Code: Empress' robot assistants (Oberon, Ophelia and Ferdinand) are named after characters in Shakespearean plays.
* SingleStrokeBattle: After a patch, Code: Architecture gains a combo in which Oberon does this move while passing through opponents in the process.
* SphereOfDestruction: Code Exotic's[[note]]Later Code Nemesis[[/note]] Iron Scraps skill. Also one of Ophelia's special skills.
* SpinAttack: Code: Architecture's Sonic Wave (with Oberon) is a vertical variant.
* SplashDamage: Code: Exotic's Hornet Sting skill launches a rocket that does this.
* StanceSystem: A variant is introduced in Code: Electra job path known as El Crystal Spectrum, which allows Eve's energy shots to either [[BiggerIsBetter become bigger]] (Amplification Field), [[SpreadShot split into threes]] (Spectrum Field) or [[HomingProjectile gain homing properties]] (Reactive Field).
* SugarAndIcePersonality
* SuperMode:
** Code: Exotic's Queen's Throne skill augments her drones with long blades, empowers her energy shots, and lets her air dash multiple times.
** Code: Battle Seraph has Energetic Heart, which combines all three El Crystal Spectrums into the Fusion Field, with added [[PowerGivesYouWings energy wings]].
* SuperPrototype: She is one of the earliest creations of Adrian Nasod, yet she is much more sophisticated compared to any other Nasods including the advanced Elysion Nasods.
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: She has golden eyes and she's the lone survivor of the ancient-type Nasod.
* SuperSpeed: Oberon is capable of doing this in one of its active skills.
* SwordBeam: One of Code: Empress' skills (with Oberon).
* {{Technopath}}
* ThemeNaming: Many of the skills in the Code: Unknown class path have names related with computer terminology and software, especially ''[[ComputerVirus viruses]]''.
* ThereIsAnother: The [=PvP=] [=NPC=]s Code: Q_Proto-00 and Apple are also ancient Nasods from long ago.
* ThisIsADrill: Code: Nemesis' Junk Break skill has her summon a rather HUGE one.
* ThreeStrikeCombo: Code: Architecture's Surface Cutting is Oberon doing 3 hit slash attack. Also her Sonic Wave, a 3-hit spinning slash.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: 2 of Ophelia's (from Code: Empress) normal moves, as well as one of her skills.
* ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks: Or in this case, spears, as Code: Exotic.
* TinMan: She claims to lack emotions, but as Rena will happily note, she does have emotions. She just doesn't know how to express it.
* UnusualEars: Robot ears, to be specific.
* UpgradeArtifact: The Spectrum Crystals for Code: Electra that lets her fire strong energy projectiles and beams.
** AmplifierArtifact: In story, advancement into a Code: Battle Seraph requires both the Dark El Gem and the Moonstone to enable her to unlock more power for her combat circuitry.
* VideoGameDashing: She has many unique dashing mechanics, able to influence the direction of her air dashes thanks to her flight module. Some of her skills/passives modify the properties of them, such as Code: Battle Seraph's High-power Electronic Circuit adding an extra dash, as well as having an aerial combo that weaponizes it.
* WaveMotionGun: Code: Electra's Giga Stream skill. Code: Battle Seraph's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSM0QH6pb6o Psychic Artillery]] hyper where she fires out a large beam and then an even larger one.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Eve's Code: Unknown storyline involves her finding a strange code that makes her incredibly strong, but riddles her system with bugs when used. As she progresses down the class's path, the bugs pile up in her even as she tries to repair them, slowly overloading her emotional circuit. By the time she has completed the path and become Code: Antithese, [[HeroicRedRingOfDeath Eve's emotional circuit is malfunctioning from extreme overwork]], and because of this she has gone off the deep end.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: As Eve progresses through the Code: Unknown class path, Eve comes to rely almost exclusively on Moby and see Remy, who tries to stop her from using the buggy code, as a hindrance. By the time she becomes Code: Antithese, Remy not only hasn't gotten any upgrades, but has also been abused by Eve to the point of breaking down, useless and barely operational.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: One of Code: Exotic's skills has her generating a black hole to pull enemies in.

-->''"I will destroy you!"''

Was known as Prince Seiker, Chung was trained for combat from a young age to follow the Seiker family tradition - being protectors of the Senace Kingdom. When the kingdom came under attack, his father, Helputt, the White Colossus of Hamel, tried to ward them off - but then the demons came to possess him, and the noble fighter unwittingly lead the enemies to attack his own kingdom. He tried to fight his father but he got injured badly. After Elsword and co. helped him escape and recover, he decided to leave the demon-occupied city and go with Elsword to train and become stronger. He adopted the name Chung as he ditched his prince title, vowing to not use it until he can take back his kingdom.

Chung has the strength and power to easily wield his cannon, Destroyer, skillfully as it were a feather. If his enemy is too far from him, Chung also has a unique trait to him different from others, as he uses "ammo" which can be fired from his cannon after reloading.

'''His job paths are as follows:'''
--> Chung -> '''Fury Guardian''' -> '''Iron Paladin''' -> '''Comet Crusader'''
--> Chung -> Shooting Guardian -> Deadly Chaser -> Fatal Phantom
--> Chung -> Shelling Guardian -> Tactical Trooper -> Centurion
--> Chung -> Cor Guardian -> Divine Phanes -> Dius Aer

----
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: He has the smallest body among the main characters, and looks ridiculously feminine. Rena in particular likes to treat him like a little kid, which he doesn't like. Nevertheless he acts rather matured and dignified as his friends note.
* AgonyOfTheFeet: Shooting Guardian's Trick Shot[[note]]a successor to old Leg Shot skill after an update[[/note]] skill which decreases the target's moving speed, with the bullet fired at the ground towards the foes' legs.
* AnimalMotifs: The wolf, with locks of hair highlighted to resemble ears folded down, and his pupils resembling paw pads. Pronounced more in Shelling Guardian line, with the spikiness giving the impression of perked up ears.
** MythicalMotifs: Gains a dragon motif as Comet Crusader, since his Berserk form has dragon-shaped helmet and his new Hyper Active is named Tiamat, after the Mesopotamian goddess who is usually depicted as a dragon.
* AnimeHair: Moreso as Shooting Guardian or Shelling Guardian.
* AntiAir: His basic skill Siege Shelling and Aiming Shot lets him attack airborne enemies easily at a range.
** One of Deadly Chaser's combos has him firing his guns multiple times diagonally, acting as this.
** Fury Guardian line's MakeMeWannaShout attacks (see below), as well as Iron Paladin's Wonder Wall and Deadly Chaser's Sharpshooter Syndrome, have large enough radius of effect to be used as this.
** Iron Paladin's Land Demolisher creates a shockwave big enough to hit airborne enemies. By the same token, Deadly Chaser's Comet Crasher blasts have larger range of attack than it seems.
%%* ArmorIsUseless: As Cor Guardian path, his armor progressively converted into light armor.
* BadassNormal: As his abilities are more technology-based, he's a borderline example. Especially as Iron Paladin, who relies on his sheer strength and rarely uses his cannon to fire things directly to his foes.
* TheBerserker: The Fury Guardian line focuses on rushing forward and dealing strong, relentless melee attacks.
* {{BFG}}[=/=]{{BFS}}: Chung's cannon, the Destroyer, is as big as himself. He can also use it as a melee weapon.
** ChainsawGripBFG: Some of his attacks has him holding his BFG this way.
* BigBulkyBomb: Shooting Guardian's Quantum Ballista has him dropping this on the designated enemy. Tactical Trooper's Satellite Rain hyper also ends with this.
* BlueIsHeroic: He's color coded with blue, and unlike the main protagonist Elsword, Chung is more heroic, noble and innnocent (being a prince helps).
* BottomlessMagazines:
** During his Berserk Mode, his cannon has unlimited ammo, allowing him to spam cannon shots and make his cannonball-using skills be always in full power.
** Shooting Guardian line's revolvers don't use ammo, instead they use his MP to shoot.
* BulletSparks: Shooting Guardian's bullets will let off sparks whenever they hit an enemy.
* ChargedAttack: Iron Paladin's Artillery Nova skill is him firing a strong rocket out of his cannon; it can be charged for greater damage.
** Deadly Chaser's Rapid Cannon can be charged to fire more rockets.
** After a patch, his basic skills Lunatic Blow and Shelling Guardian's Impact Detonation can be charged to do more hits, costing more bullets in the process. The same patch also allows Iron Paladin's Iron Howling to be chargeable; doing so lets him do additional shouts.
* CodeName: Chung is just a name he takes while on his quest. He has sworn not to use his real name until he finishes his long quest.
* ColdSniper: As Deadly Chaser, he's often depicted as stern and confident.
* CombatStilettos: as Iron Paladin. It can be meant to evoke how wolves stand on their toes, but combined with his long hair and somewhat curvy armor, it makes him look rather... girly.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A mix of Warrior and Nuker by default, with a touch of Support. Iron Paladin emphasizes his Warrior side and Tactical Trooper emphasizes his Nuker and Support side, while Deadly Chaser adds Ranger to the mix.
* CraterPower: Many of Fury Guardian's skills do this.
* CriticalHitClass: Played straight and inverted with the Iron Paladin line - His Pandemonium skill makes the afflicted enemy having higher chance to be hit by a critical, while one of his passives prevents critical hits to land on him.
** Aside from the one in the SuperMode below, Deadly Chaser also has 2 passives to make him deal CriticalHit more often.
* CrossdressingVoices: Except in Brazilian Portuguese and most Europeans (saved for German).
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He lost [[DisappearedDad his dad]] and [[DoomedHometown his kingdom]] long ago to DemonicInvaders, and he's trying to reclaim them.
* DeathFromAbove: His "Aceldama" skill fires a number of missiles upward, and then the missiles rain down on the whole screen.
** Shooting Guardian's Comet Crasher has him shooting a bunch of cannonballs downwards from midair.
** Deadly Chaser's Artillery Strike skill has him [[CrosshairAware aiming at the enemy with a crosshair]] and then a volley of missiles[[note]]Later changed into a single giant bomb[[/note]] fall down onto the designated place.
** The Shelling Guardian line has many skills that delivers this, including a version of the Artillery Strike above. The best of which would be his hyper, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RuHb7XsSMA Satellite Rain]].
* DeclarationOfProtection:
-->(''during one of his intro'') "I'll protect the world!"
* DefendCommand: Fury Guardian's[[note]]Later moved to Iron Paladin[[/note]] "Guard" skill.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: His Heavy Stance ability allows him to automatically enter guarding stance when attacked during a certain attack and then do a CounterAttack afterward.
** Iron Paladin with Strong Will passive can have a chance to guard against attacks, completely negating the damage.
** Tactical Trooper's passive Reactive Armor gives him increased defense when he enters Awakening Mode.
* DeflectorShields: Shelling Guardian's[[note]]Later moved into Iron Paladin's[[/note]] Wonder Wall skill creates these, and can be used to shield teammates too.
* DemolitionsExpert: The Shelling Guardian line focuses on lobbing and launching lots of explosives around.
* DeployableCover: Tactical Trooper's Tactical Field (the Endurance version specifically) is useful for enduring incoming strong attacks.
* DivertingPower: His Reload Cannon skill uses his MP to be converted into a few cnnonballs quickly.
* DramaticGunCock: His base form's intro pose has him do this.
* DubNameChange: "Lacher" in Japan.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: The Fury Guardian line makes him look more feminine, even more as Iron Paladin. He looks manlier as his other classes.
* EveryBulletIsATracer: His bullets as Shooting Guardian line are very bright blue.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: He has paw marks on his pupils.
* FieldPowerEffect: Tactical Trooper's Tactical Field will buff him and his teammates inside the radius, in different ways: one version gives ImmuneToFlinching and DamageReduction while the other gives mana regeneration and damage buff.
* FiringInTheAirALot: His Aceldama, Shooting Guardian's Shooting Star and Deadly Chaser's Outrage Strike have him do this with his cannon.
* FiringOneHanded: A number of her combos and skills has him do this. With a BFG.
* GlassCannon: Deadly Chaser has immense magical power and is very quick, this results with him being less armored and defensive than both Iron Paladin and Tactical Trooper.
* GroundPound: A variant on one of Fury Guardian's skill; it involves him firing his cannons to the ground point-blank, creating energy blasts around him.
** Straighter example with one of Iron Paladin's skill; said move also acts as a SuperMode (allowing normal attacks to cause shockwaves), or, after a patch, alternatively end with him firing his cannon at the ground to create a creeping projectile.
** Taken to the next level with his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAOnK7HV0Xo Doom Strike]] hyper.
* GroundShatteringLanding: Fury Guardian's Leap Attack has him do this.
* GunsAkimbo: The "Deadly Chaser" class, though he still uses his Destroyer.
* TheGunslinger: As Deadly Chaser; he's mostly type B (firepower-heavy) with small cues of other types as well.
* HammerSpace: His Guardian Stone is where he saved his special armor (and, as Shooting Guardian, his guns) when not in use.
* HealItWithWater: The Cor Guardian path is capable of healing others with water el. The Holy Grail skill is one such ability, where he summons a grail full of holy water that heals other allies.
* {{Hitscan}}: His Siege Shelling and Aiming Shot skills instantly aim at the closest opponent. The former is averted after a patch, though, where he fires projectiles instead.
** A few of Shelling Guardian's combos let him fire a hitscan shot.
* HomingProjectile: One of his basic skills. After a patch, the rocket from Iron Paladin's Artillery Nova skill can home in to closest opponents.
* HyperactiveMetabolism: One of his passives [[ItemAmplifier increases the amount of HP or MP heal from potions.]]
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jalsYGxG_lE "Hope"]], a song of Chung's determination to keep fighting on.
* InstantArmor[=/=]PoweredArmor: Gains this in berserk mode, followed with a full-faced helmet. As the "Shelling Guardian", besides a full-faced helmet, he also adds a chest plate and ShouldersOfDoom
** As "Tactical Trooper", he also gains [[PowerGivesYouWings a pair of wings.]]
* InvulnerableAttack: In his basic skill Back Blast, he's invincible while activing this.
* JuggleFu: During Deadly Chaser's Outrage Strike, he throws his cannon to the air, then switches to his 2 guns and shoots the missiles that he fired beforehand, detonating them, and his cannon falls right after the whole ordeal.
* KnightInShiningArmor: More straight than Elsword's Lord Knight. He is motivated to protect the world, emphasized this as Iron Paladin. Although he swings a cannon instead of sword.
* LagCancel: Fury Guardian's Leap Attack, when final enhanced, you can press the skill button again to cast Back Blast.
** Shooting Guardian's Dual Buster, when final enhanced, pressing the skill button again will make you cast the skill again with half of the mana cost.
* LeapAndFire: Shooting Guardian's Dual Buster is him doing a quick leap forward while firing 2 strong gun shots backwards.
* LongRangeFighter: As Deadly Chaser.
** Enforced with Shooting Guardian's Deadly Shot skill, it deals more damage when bullet travels a longer distance.
--->[[GratuitousSpanish "Adios!"]]
* LightningBruiser: Iron Paladin is closest to this. Having a good mana regeneration and some good ranged skills on top of having the best physical defense stat with passive skills that increase his already insane defense stats and elemental resistance make him incredibly hard to kill most of the time. He's also faster than Tactical Trooper so he can move around with less trouble.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: As Fury Guardian path, and it gets longer as Iron Paladin and even longer as Comet Crusader, where it's tied up in a ponytail.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Deadly Chaser's Comet Crasher & Shooting Star skill.
** Also one of Shelling Guardian's skills; the missiles [[RecursiveAmmo split into threes]] as they fly.
** Shelling Guardian's skill Impact Detonation, after an update, fires a volley of missiles straight forward. Deadly Chaser has a stronger variant.
** Played to the max with Deadly Chaser's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LXiUNELuvA Outrage Strike]] hyper where he shoots missiles around him and then detonate them with his guns.
* MakeMeWannaShout: Three of Fury Guardian's skills have him shouting loudly and dealing damage to enemies around him; one stuns, the other shut down enemy's skills for a moment, the last one [[InjuredVulnerability makes enemies explode if they had status ailments.]]
* MarkedBullet: His rockets will often have a black skull symbol of them. If you're Shelling Guardian, however, they'll instead have a silhouette of Echo's head and the writing "BY ECHO" on them. This is because he develops his new brand of explosives together with Echo, the Elder alchemist.
* MeaningfulName: Chung means "blue" in Korean; he is associated mainly with the color blue. His Japanese name "Lacher" is a German word that roughly translates to "A place close to water", a very fitting description of his hometown, Hamel.
* MightyGlacier: He has a lot of defense, he can use super armor frequently, and he hits very hard. Even more so as "Fury Guardian". The downside is, of course, he moves and attacks slower than other characters. Deadly Chaser somewhat subverts this (his new combat style allows him to attack faster) while Tactical Trooper embraces it. Tactical Trooper embraces this trope pretty hard. Being the slowest of the three isn't too bad when having the best hard-hitting skills of the three classes makes him a powerful ally. Sadly though, his strongest skills cost a lot of mana and his overall speed isn't too good.
* MoreDakka: As the "Shooting Guardian", more so with "Deadly Chaser", which wields a pair of guns.
* NighInvulnerability: As Iron Paladin: the Guard skill, when fully leveled, reduces damage taken by a whoppping ''90%'', Wonder Wall reduces damage by 70% percent, Strong Will passive gives him a 6.5% chance to negate attacks that's doubled in PVE, and doubled ''again'' when using Guard for a total of 26% of all hits blocked. This all translates to him taking only ''2.22%'' of damage put out while guarding with Wonder Wall up. Said calculation does not take into account Chung's naturally high defense and IP's other passive that increases his HP. Once he's out of the guard stance (by {{counter attack}}ing or being attacked InTheBack), however, said defense would go down....to taking a [[SarcasmMode massive]] 26% of damage put out.
** Meanwhile with Tactical Trooper, when Tactical Field is combined with Reactive Armor passives (especially in Berserk mode), your total damage reduction will be 74.23%. This allows you briefly take low damage while sustaining super armor.
* NoRangeLikePointBlankRange: Many of his combos and skills (moreso with Fury Guardian line) end with him firing his Destroyer at point blank.
* OneHitPolykill: Deadly Chaser's Heavy Railgun skill has him firing a shot that pierces through and damages everything on its path.
* PainfullySlowProjectile: Deadly Chaser's Rumble Shot and Iron Paladin's Land Demolisher (Earthquake) skills fire off a slow, creeping projectile.
* ThePaladin: Ironically, the Iron Paladin isn't this, as he takes a more proactive role keeping enemies from passing him and his cannon. The Cor Guardian path embraces this more, as he's able to control Water El, which in in turn sanctifies his repertoire to have divine qualities. It's thanks to his newfound powers that he can actively protect the weak and support them.
* PinballProjectile: Deadly Chaser's Bullet Blitz skill.
** Also in later patch, Deadly Chaser's Silver Shooter attack commands also become this.
* PintsizedPowerhouse
* PistolPose: Deadly Chaser's official art and his winposes have him do this.
* PistolWhipping: More like "Bazooka Whipping" but this is pretty much the base of his normal attacks.
* ProfessionalKiller: He gained this vibe as Fatal Phantom reflected by his change of voice to "silent killer" type, a sharp contrast to Comet Crusader.
* RandomizedDamageAttack: Shelling Guardian's Elastic Bomb - Hand Grenade, if final enhanced, will give him a chance to throw 4 bombs instead of 2.
* RecoilBoost: One of his basic skills has him rocketing downwards after he fires his cannon to the opposite direction and smashing the ground, [[ShockwaveStomp causing a shockwave]].
** His base job also has a move where he blasts his cannon downwards and rocketing upwards. Shooting Guardian adds handgun recoils for more air time.
** A number of his combos and skills as Fury Guardian also uses this.
* RecursiveAmmo: Tactical Trooper's Carpet Bombing have this.
* RedBaron: "The White Wolf of Hamel".
* RevolversAreJustBetter: Gains one Silver Shooter as Shooting Guardian and another one as Deadly Chaser. As Fatal Phantom, he gains another pair of double-barrel revolvers Phantom Shooter.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Gains one as Shooting Guardian.
* ScreamingWarrior: He does lots of screaming during attacks; when he's in Awakening Mode he also shouts his skill names.
* SeanConneryIsAboutToShootYou: In Shooting Guardian's official art and intro pose, Deadly Chaser's VictoryPose and his and Tactical Trooper's SuperMovePortraitAttack (with guns and a cannon respectively), he does this pose. Transcendence Deadly Chaser's art is also this.
* SpamAttack: Tactical Trooper after reaching Transcendence gains a passive that allows him to use Siege Shelling without running out of Blue Ammunition when in Berserker Mode. This makes it tedious and annoying to get around him in the arena when you get a face full of shells that end up stopping you if you aren't under SuperArmor status.
* SituationalDamageAttack: Many of his combos and skills consume a lot of ammo; depending on how much you currently have, you'll deal a little or a lot of damage.
** As Tactical Trooper he has a set of "red bullets" that he can gain only through using Siege Mode, that he can use to boost his bullet-consuming skills. Depending on how much the red bullets you have, the aforementioned skills will have a varying damage boost.
*** His Chaos Cannon and Carpet Bombing skills do not need ammo to use; however, if you have some, then said ammo will be used to empower the skills. Even more as Tactical Trooper if you have the red bullets.
** Iron Paladin's Land Demolisher: Earthquake deals more hits and damage the closer the enemy is to him when he activates it.
* SphereOfDestruction: Deadly Chaser's Sharpshooter Syndrome skill creates a dome-shaped blast around him.
* SpinAttack: One of his combo moves as Fury Guardian.
* SplashDamage: Many of his skills do this. In particular, Scare Chase can be equiped with a Gigantic Trait to have much larger splash when they explode.
* SpreadShot: Shelling Guardian's Magnum Shot is of the traditional fan-out variety.
* StanceSystem: Chung's Siege Shelling allows him to fire his cannon at incoming enemies, but it forced him to be a sitting duck.
** As "Shelling Guardian", he does this more often.
** As "Tactical Trooper", he's now able to move slowly forward while firing his shells from the back of his cannon.
* SticksToTheBack: Deadly Chaser's intro pose and some of his combos have his cannon inexplicably sticking to his back while he holds his 2 guns.
* SummonToHand: As Shooting Guardian he can summon his gun quickly onto his hand.
* SuperMode: The Berserk Mode, activated by using 3 Awakening orbs, which increases attack strength as well as giving him BottomlessMagazines.
** Deadly Chaser and Tactical Trooper have passives that give Berserk mode extra effects: ReducedManaCost and CoolDown of skills (DC), and a defense boost based on awakening beads built up (TT)
** One of Shelling Guardian's skills lets him [[GrenadeSpam throw weak grenades every time you attack normally]].
** Another one of Shelling Guardian's skills somewhat overlaps with the StanceSystem above - you can fire 2 shots from both sides your cannon as much as the time allows you to, as well as tanking damage, but you're forced to walk slowly.
** One of his skills as Shooting Guardian makes his attacks deal {{Critical Hit}}s more often. This move can buff allies in range as well. He can also randomly do Head Shots (doubling the damage) with his gunshots when in said mode.
** Another one, This time for Iron Paladin, lets him cause shockwaves every time he attacks.
** The Cor Guardian path has its own flavor of Berserk Mode, known as Sanctification Mode. Unlike Berserk, Sanctification only has one orb, but can be evoked repeatedly to extend it.
* SuperPersistentMissile: His Scare Chase, Bullet Blitz, Shooting Star, and Dread Chase skills. Dread Chase and Shooting Star missiles in particular will lap dimes around a downed opponent (in [=PvP=]) until they get back up and the MercyInvincibility wears off, after which they'll just detonate normally. After a patch, though, the missiles will not do so and simply explode (with no harm) when the enemies are under invincibility.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: Shelling Guardian's Elastic Bomb (the Hand Grenade version) and Big Bang Stream skill.
* TremorTrampoline: One of his basic moves is him dropping from the air and stomping the ground, creating a tremor that knocks enemies upward.
** Fury Guardian's Leap skill ends with this.
** Iron Paladin's Doom Strike is a heavy stomping with his cannon which generates so much force that the enemies are propelled high upward.
* TroubleMagnetGambit: Tactical Trooper's Mark of Commander have him marking his enemies, after which missiles will fall down from the sky towards them periodically.
* UnorthodoxReload: To elaborate, his cannon is reloaded by pumping it, like a shotgun. While he does exactly that most of the time, sometimes he'll smash the cannon to the ground or swinging and yanking it around mid-swing, letting inertia do the reloading while hitting the enemy with it at the same time.
* UpgradeArtifact: the Shooting Guardian line has him manufacture a gun (named Silver Shooter), and then another identical gun, creating a new faster combat style along with it.
** Shelling Guardian, with the help of the Elder alchemist Echo, manufactures grenades and special explosives called Disfrozen that is the basis of his tactics. As Tactical Trooper, he makes further advancements on it by using his father's old schematics.
* WeaponAcrossTheShoulder: Shelling Guardian and Fury Guardian's idle poses (as well as their job advancements') have him do this with his cannon.
* WarriorPrince
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: Upon activation, Iron Paladin's Doom Strike drags his enemies closer to him for better positioning.
** Deadly Chaser's Sharpshooter Syndrome drags enemies around him into the center of the blast.

-->''"Until I face my brother again... I cannot give up!"''

Ara Haan was born in Fahrmann, the dominion of the Gods which is located at the North of the Fluone continent. She is a descendant of the Haan Family that protected the seal of the Gumiho-god for generations. One day, the village disappeared as a whole because of the demon invasion. The demon that led the invasion of the village was none other than Ara's brother, Aren Haan (Ran) who was corrupted by the power of the Dark El. She managed to fend off the invasion with the help of the gumiho, via the mystical hairpin in which it is sealed. The gumiho spirit, Eun, offered Ara help for searching and restoring her brother in exchange for recovering the lost El power. Then she traveled to Hamel (where Ran resides) and can only find traces of demons. After a little misunderstanding, Elsword and co, who have been hunting the demons there, offers Ara help to locate the escaped Ran.

Ara is a skilled martial artist who uses a spear. Her versatile air movements rivals that of Eve, while her spear gives her wide attack range; she can be surprisingly quick with the spear, too. Ara also has a unique trait to her different from others, as she uses "spirit orbs" which can be used in conjunction of MP.

'''Her job paths so far are as follows:'''
--> Ara -> '''Little Hsien''' -> '''Sakra Devanam''' -> '''Apsara'''
--> Ara -> Little Devil -> Yama Raja -> Devi
--> Ara -> Little Specter -> Asura -> Shakti
--> Ara -> Little Helper -> Marici -> Surya

----
* ActionGirl
* AmusingInjuries: In her introductory trailer, she accidentally whacked Elsword's head with her spear.
* AnimalMotifs: Aside from her default fox, there's also a tiger (as Little Hsien) and butterfly and wolf (as Little Devil).
* AntiAir: Her basic skill Falling Dragon has high vertical hitbox to be used as this. Little Hsien's secret skill "Explosion" works similarly with a much larger radius.
** Little Hsien's Suppression skill and Sakra Devanam's skills Matchless Truth, Flying Kite.
** Little Devil's Spear Prison is a minor example.
** The thunder strikes from Little Specter's Spell: Thunder skill can reach very high places.
* AntiArmor: Sakra Devanam's Ultimate Spearmanship passive grant her an ability to lower enemies' defenses on normal attack.
** Little Devil's Force Spear also ignore defenses, and can do full damage on knocked down enemies as well.
** One of Asura's passives acts as a partial version of this; specifically, her attacks will ignore a portion of the enemy's defense.
** After an update, her basic skill Wind Wedge, Little Hsien's Fire Lotus, and Asura's Fox Fire, when equipped with a Critical Trait, will ignore defenses, while their MP cost are increased.
* AsianFoxSpirit: Eun (Korean for "silver"), the fox spirit that resides within Ara's hairpin. More precisely, a ''gumiho'' (its Korean equivalent).
* AttackReflector: Yama Raja's Repel skill does this to weak projectiles, on top of boosting her magical attack power.
* BackFromTheDead[=/=]AutoRevive: One of Yama Raja's passives allows her to do this automatically at the cost of her spirit orbs. The limitations are that she'll only recover a small HP and this ability has a 3 minute cooldown.
* BigBrotherWorship: Idolizes her brother so much and values his advices. When he was still a good guy, anyway. Her inability to reconcile her love for him with what he began to do as a demon is what drove her to accepting more and more of Eun's power in her Asura class.
* BilingualBonus: Many of her skill names (as well as her job titles) are written in Chinese characters, with English alternate names -- and that's in the Korean version.
* BlockingStopsAllDamage: Sakra Devanam has a passive that enables her to block an attack to cause it to deal no damage regardless of how powerful it is. Her skill Counter Switch not only block damages but also allows her to counter or escape the attack.
* BoobsAndButtPose: Yama Raja's SuperMovePortraitAttack uses a more active version of this pose.
* BoringButPractical: Similar to Elsword's Sword Knight path, Ara's Little Hsien path is the least flashy jobs and one in the entire game, yet boasts it's straightforward mechanics, crunchy critical hits and highest survivability among Ara classes.
* BraidsOfAction: As Little Specter.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: At one point at the beginning of Elysion main story where the party meets Yuno (an NPC), who speaks repetitively...
-->"Ara: Uu.. It's repeating itself like a game NPC."
* BreathWeapon: In Asura's hyper Millennium Fox, Eun appears and then breathes a stream of dark energy.
* ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: Little Devil and Yama Raja have lots of butterflies in their designs and one of her passives allows her to go BackFromTheDead. Aside from that, the butterfly also signifies Ara's transformation into a different kind of fighter.
* CastFromHitPoints: One version of Little Devil's Conversion skill [[DivertingPower converts her HP into spirit orbs.]]
* CastingAShadow: She can manipulate shadows/darkness in some of her skills. The Little Devil path focuses more on this.
* ChargedAttack: Little Hsien's Moonlight Slash and Little Devil's Energy Wave can be charged for more damage and range/size.
** Yama Raja's Energy Void can be charged to stay up for longer and grow bigger.
** In some of her combos, she can charge the last attack to do more damage.
* CombatStilettos: Yama Raja.
* CommonCharacterClasses: A Warrior mixed with Rogue by default. Sakra Devanam goes further in Warrior path while Yama Raja substitutes Warrior with Nuker, and Asura is somewhat of a mix of both.
* CounterAttack: Sakra Devanam's "Counter Switch" skill has her do a defensive stance; if she's attacked in this state, she'll attack as she [[NoIAmBehindYou phases through her attacker.]]
** A variant of this is shown in her basic skill Steel Body, if upgraded: If she's attacked during the move, the attacker will receive additional damage.
* CriticalHitClass: Sakra Devanam has a move that buffs her attacks to induce more {{Critical Hit}}s.
* CuteBruiser: While she's tough and able in combat, her cuteness is more emphasized than her curves.
* CuteClumsyGirl: She's a bit clumsy and insecure, and also full of thoughts on her head. For an instance, see ApologeticAttacker above.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: One of Sakra Devanam's passives induces this randomly on her normal attacks. Said passive will [[AntiArmor negate some of the enemy's defense]]. Her Raging Wave skill can also do this.
** Her skill "Suppression" (as all three of her first jobs, although they work differently on each class) also has this effect.
** Asura's skill Specter Walk lets her do this to multiple enemies at once by phasing towards them and inflicting them with a HitodamaLight that decreases their defenses.
** Little Hsien's new skill, Fire Lotus. The flame lotus will apply a debuff when hit, this debuff will lower elemental resistance and increase damage dealt to the victim.
* DarkActionGirl: As Little Devil line and (to a smaller extent) Little Specter line. Devi is not only dark but also twisted.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her brother have been corrupted by the darkness and her hometown have been attacked by demons.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Her advancement to Little Devil and further with Yama Raja gives her some dark vibes, but (aside from being slightly harsher) she's still a pretty nice girl.
* DashAttack: Yama Raja's High Speed skill and Sakra Devanam's Raging Wave skill.
* DeadlyLunge: Little Specter's Darkness Sever skill is a lunging stab that goes past multiple enemies at once.
* DeadlyDisc: Upon advancing to Apsara, her Moonlight Slash skill changes to this.
* DealWithTheDevil: In the backstory, Ara made a deal with the Gumiho spirit to help her in her adventures in exchange of finding the power of the El stones for the spirit to free itself.
* DeathFromAbove: Her Falling Dragon skill has her jumping high and deliver a [[GroundPound powerful smack]] as she falls to deal loads of damage. Her dragon [[SecretArt Secret Arts]] ends in her swinging her spear in a large horizontal circle before she leaps into the air and landing causing a lot of damage, said finisher also has an insane vertical hitbox making it hard to gauge on where to be to avoid taking damage.
** After the right sequence of moves, Little Hsien's Moonlight Slash will have a followup similar to the above and creates [[CraterPower a massive crater]] For More Massive Damage.
** Little Devil's Spear Prison skill is a rain of spears from above.
* DefenseMechanismSuperpower: Sakra Devanam's Energy Activation passive lets her reduce the duration of debuffs on her.
** Sakra Devanam's Ultimate Spearmanship gives her a chance to automatically block attacks as well as turning herself to face the enemy if they attacked her from behind.
* DemonicPossession[=/=]SuperpoweredEvilSide: It's stated that the gumiho spirit takes over her in the Eun mode. Exemplified in her Little Specter line, which shows Ara developing Eun-like characteristics due to passively using her power.
* DespairEventHorizon: Comes dangerously close to reaching this point in the story of her Asura class. Having to witness the atrocities her brother had caused drove her to the brink of breaking down, but Eun pulls her out of it by giving Ara enough power to overcome her trials.
* DivertingPower:
** Her skills that use MP and lets you gain Spirit Orbs in general.
** Her basic skill Energy Absorption lets her gain Spirit Orbs if the EnergyBall hits enemies.
** Little Specter's skill Mana Drain uses one Spirit Orb to suck the MP of foes around her.
* DoppelgangerAttack: One of Yama Raja's skills has her call forth a dark clone of herself forward to attack.
* DoubleWeapon: As Little Specter, her spear has 2 identical (but differently colored) ends.
* DramaticHighPerching: One of Sakra Devanam's win poses has her planting her spear on the ground and then balancing on top of it.
* DualityMotif: One of Ara's eyes turns [[RedEyesTakeWarning red]] in her Little Specter line -- the same color as Eun's eyes.
* DubNameChange: In Japan, the kitsune is named "Haku" (meaning "white").
* ElementalPunch: Asura's Fox Fire skill is a clawing attack that can have random elemental effects.
* EnergyBall: Little Devil and Yama Raja often shoot a dark version of these in their combos and skills.
** The strongest of which is Yama Raja's hyper [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCIDK9hd6ao Hell Blast]]. Comparison with [[VideoGame/GrandChase Rin's Final Flash of Light]], [[Anime/DragonBallZ Goku's Spirit Bomb]] and others run rampant.
* {{Expy}}: The fact that she wields a spear, has a spirit companion that empowers her and she goes hunting demonic beings makes her one to UshioAndTora. Ironically, her spirit companion is a kitsune, while in U&T a kitsune is the BigBad.
* FacialMarkings: Appears in Eun Mode as two red spots beneath her eyes. Her Asura class has permanent red markings above her eyes, and Eun is shown to sport the two red marks below and one above when her true form is revealed.
* FashionableAsymmetry: [[https://elwiki.net/wiki/images/2/2e/Portrait_-_Yama_Raja.png Yama Raja]] is full of this.
* FemmeFatalons: Her nails are noticeably sharp-looking in Asura's SuperMovePortraitAttack portrait. She also uses it for clawing attacks in some of her moves and skills.
* FingerSnapLighter: Little Devil's idle pose and her and Yama Raja's {{Victory Pose}}s have her holding a ball of darkness on her hand.
* FoeTossingCharge: She has two kinds of this as Little Hsien. Also one of her skills as her base form.
* {{Foil}}: to Add. Both of their DarkAndTroubledPast has their home and families being slaughtered and having a shared goal of saving the most important person in their life (Add's Mother and Ara's Brother, respectively) but while Ara was saved by a Fox Demon (Eun) thereby preventing her from being damaged any further, Add wasn't so lucky and was MadeASlave until he was able to save himself by escaping on his own. Due to this, Ara still remained as a sweet and caring (if a bit clumsy) girl while Add became a nihilistic and TroubledButCute (but still extremely intellectual) boy. They also heavily rely on something to accomplish their respective goals in that while Ara relies on the supernatural and mythic powers of a demonic fox to augment her powers, Add relies on the realistic and logical [[ForScience Power Of Science]] to augment his own powers. Ara is more of a [[LightningBruiser strong physical fighter]] while Add is more of a [[GlassCannon squishy magic-science ranged fighter]]. Case in point, in two of Ara's later class paths, she becomes more and more unhinged and slowly becoming more similar to Add as shown in those default portraits. In conclusion, Add is what Ara would have been if Eun didn't save her in time back then.
* ForGreatJustice: Her Sakra Devanam/Apsara path emphasizes this.
* TheFourGods: Atleast on her two job paths.
** The Little Hsien path has Dragon and Tiger motifs, as mentioned from AnimalMotifs above, she associated with Azure Dragon and White Tiger.
** The Little Helper path has Phoenix and Turtle motifs, she associated with Vermillion Bird and Black Tortoise.
* TheGhost: Eun is frequently mentioned by Ara, but for a long time was never seen. She finally appears in person during some of Asura classes' skills and victory poses. Justified in that her abilities in this particular job line can let Eun manifest her physical form.
* GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger: One of her intro poses has her do this.
* GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: As Sakra Devanam she's mentioned to have matured and become wiser, and her mostly white outfit with orange and gold trimmings support this.
* GroundShatteringLanding: Little Hsien's secret skill has her do this, doing large damage to everything caught on the crater she made during it.
* HimeCut: Slightly as Apsara.
* IdiotHair: Retained to her job changes, even.
* {{Invisibility}}: One of Little Specter's skills.
* ImageSong: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7q5sIRIQZk "Changing Colors"]], a song of Ara wishing to be AlwaysWithYou, leaving her mark like the changing colors of blooming flowers.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: A number of her combos and skills end with this.
* IWillFindYou: Her quest is to find her brother and try to bring him back to his senses.
* KamehameHadoken: Little Devil's Energy Wave skill.
* LagCancel: Her specialty is to cancel her skills into another with specific timing, gaining spirit orbs in the process.
** FiveMovesOfDoom: When you cancel 4 certain skills (or one normal move + 3 skills) with the right sequence, she'll do a strong FinishingMove.
* LightningBruiser: All of her classes are this really although each specialize in one form over another at some point.
** The Little Hsien path is then straightest example has incredibly fast speed in her attacks and her [[SecretArt Secret Arts]] either reduce the victim's defenses or dish out huge raw damage as well as her innate durability and defensive mechanisms. Flying Kite allows Ara to hit enemies who are relatively close to each other allowing her to get over barriers simply by using it, since Ara gains one Spirit Orb per enemy defeated, if there are lots of enemies that she can potentially KO in 1-3 hits in a cluster, expect to see a Sakra Devanam appear and disappear a lot. Her Suppression has a pretty big vertical hitbox and the bonus of it preventing those hit by it from moving while reducing their defense means that getting hit by it before Ara awakens is a hazard as she can then use Kite after she awakens. Upon Transcendence, she gains ranged attacks like Fierce Spear Dance and Spiritual Dragon which clears horizontal stages.
** Yama Raja sports what could be said an even field presence, although she's one foot in GlassCannon territory. Having both a pretty big option for fighting up close or at a distance means that the enemy needs to plan a few moves ahead to avoid being punished for guessing wrong. Both her Energy Void and Suppression Energy skill can drag in enemies who are nearby and since the the latter takes place quite a ways in front of her while the former pulls in enemies who are pretty close by, being too close isn't a good thing. Meanwhile playing safe as a ranged fighter isn't a strong option either as Repel makes magical projectiles that aren't Special Actives or a Hyper Active useless since they instead are sent back at the attacker. On top of having the ability to constantly stun the enemy means that guessing wrong normally results in a bad result. Want to get above her? Too bad, Energy Wave can be used while in the air so you'll just get knocked down to the ground should she jump into the air before using it.
** Asura has equally fast speed as Sakra Devanam with slightly better ranged options and overall stronger attacks. Fox Fire, Spell: Ellipse of Blades and Spell: Thunder can hit airborne enemies and while the former can be used while in mid-air, the latter even teleports Ara to a random nearby enemy before it does damage although she must be on the ground to use it. Although she doesn't have much defensive skills so she may pass off as a FragileSpeedster.
* MagicalBarefooter: Her Shakti mode only wears barefoot sandals in her feet.
* MakeMeWannaShout: In Little Specter's Suppression: Specter skill, Eun appears and then does a howling attack that debuffs enemies.
* ManaDrain: One of Little Specter's skills.
* {{Miko}}: Little Specter line has this theme running in her. Her Apsara outfit also has this motif.
* MiniDressOfPower: Almost with all of her forms except Little Hsien, who wears shorts instead.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Ara's hair turns glowing white when she taps into the power of Eun, the Fox Specter that resides in her body. She develops a white-colored skunk stripe as Asura, as well.
* PainfullySlowProjectile: Yama Raja's Hell Blast hyper moves very slowly, but it can hurt continuously.
* PluckyGirl: Even if she may be clumsy and insecure, she's quite a determined young girl.
* PsychoticSmirk: In Eun Mode, but only for Ara's Little Specter line. Her Little Hsien and Little Devil lines has her instead be a PerpetualFrowner. The change can actually be quite alarming. This is also her default expression as Devi.
* PostVictoryCollapse: Somewhat inverted in her backstory as she collapsed after getting possessed by the gumiho spirit the first time and, by the time she got aware about what happened, she had battled her brother and the demons ''unconsciously''.
** AlternateIdentityAmnesia: She never realized what the spirit exactly did whenever it took over her body.
* PowerDyesYourHair: Her hair turns white in Eun mode.
* PowerMakesYourVoiceDeep: In Japanese dub, she sounds deeper in Eun mode.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: As Sakra Devanam.
* RandomizedDamageAttack: Little Specter's Discordance skill, if upgraded, will have a chance of doing extra slashes that does additional damage.
** Yama Raja's Howling Wolf passive lets her secret art Killing Howl to have a chance to fire off a red, stronger wolf head instead of the usual yellow. The chance applies to each of the 4 wolf heads.
* RapidfireFisticuffs: One of her combo moves as Asura, though she did it with claws instead.
* RavenHairIvorySkin
* RedEyesTakeWarning: [[EyeColorChange In Eun mode]]. "Take Warning", indeed.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: In some regions, the 3rd classes Apsara, Devi, and Shakti are know as Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva respectively, these are named after Trimurti of Hinduism.
* RollingAttack: Little Devil's Wolf Claw skill has her doing a short roll while slashing with her spear.
* SealedEvilInACan: The Gumiho spirit resides in Ara's hairpin that was safeguarded by her family for generations. Though said spirit is only AmbiguouslyEvil at best.
** LeakingCanOfEvil: Ara can let Eun possess her temporarily, granting her its powers. As Little Specter, as she learned the art of exorcism, she can use it to release more of of Eun's sealed power easily.
** SealedInsideAPersonShapedCan: The hairpin is completely gone in Ara's Asura class, implying that this trope is in effect instead. Goes hand-in-hand with TransformationOfThePossessed.
* ShapingYourAttacks: Little Devil's secret skill Killing Howl summons forth wolf heads made of darkness at her enemies.
** Little Specter's skill Specter Restraints creates a giant arm made of shadows and then she claws her enemies with it.
** Little Hsien's skill Fire Lotus creates a shining lotus before launching it forward.
* SecretArt: Her 1st and 2nd job advancements gives her access to each class's Secret Arts which unleash a hidden skill when certain skills are chained in correct order.
** Little Hsien - Dragon Arts: Blast
** Little Devil - Wolf Arts: Killing Howl
** Little Specter - Exorcism Arts: Night Parade of One Hundred Souls
** Sakra Devanam - Tiger Arts: Fierce Tiger
** Yama Raja - Rakshasa Arts: Purgatory
** Asura - Phantom Fox Arts: Pulverize
* {{Shoryuken}}: If done with the right sequence of skills, Asura which cast the hidden skill Secret Art: Phantom Fox Pulverize which is a Shoryuken with dark claws.
* SituationalDamageAttack: Some of her skills depend on the amount of beads inside her Spirit Gauge; the more she has, the stronger the skills become.
* SizeShifter: Not Ara herself, but Eun appears to be able to change her own size. At times she appears the size of a small horse, but at other times she's absolutely ''gigantic''.
* SliceAndDiceSwordsmanship: She does a lot of twirling and slashing with that spear of hers. Although it's worthy of note that her style is close to RealLife Wushu spearmanship, which involves lots of these.
* SlipknotPonytail: In Eun mode, Although as Asura and Apsara, her hair is flowing loose naturally.
* SpectacularSpinning: Many of her attacks. The best of which is Sakra Devanam's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op8z6JfLcFs Heaven's Wrath]] hyper (with added [[PetalPower shining petals]] to the mix).
* StatusBuffDispel: Her Suppression skills (all of her three jobs have it) will induce this on her opponents in [=PvP=].
* StormOfBlades: More like Storm of Spears, but one of Little Devil's and one of Transcendent Asura's skills qualify.
* SummonMagic: Asura can summon Eun in some of her skills and victory poses, including her Hyper Active, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOvCmEP9lDE Millennium Fox]]. Apsara in the other hand has a hyper active that summons a spirit dragon that rushes on enemies.
* SuperMode: The Eun Mode, activated by using 3 Awakening orbs (much like Chung's Berserk Mode) which allows her to gain one spirit orb for each enemy killed (and, after a patch, after 9 normal combo hits) as well as [[VampiricDraining heal herself for a bit]] every time she does so. It also boosts her speed.
** Little Hsien introduces "Fierce Tiger Strike", an attack skill that will also buff her (and allies within range) afterwards with increased damage, attack speed and CriticalHit chance. Sakra Devanam's secret skill Fierce Tiger, with the help of a certain passive, will also grant a similar buff (though only for CriticalHit).
** Little Specter line enhances the Eun Mode by allowing it to be activated with 1 or 2 awakening orbs; the difference is that she needs 18 and 13 combo hits respectively to gain spirit orbs. Both Little Specter and Asura has 2 skills that are this:
*** Necromancy buffs her and her allies with critical hit and additional damage increase and Ara's attacks will periodically summon fox claws to deal bonus damage.
*** Spell: Thunder lets her [[ShockAndAwe summon lightning strikes]] every time she does normal attacks.
* SupernaturalMartialArts: Pretty much what her fighting style boils down to. She can, among other things, stop herself mid-skill to do another skill, run in midair, and manipulate shadows. The Little Hsien path focused more on her sheer skills as a martial artist.
* SuperSpeed: Like Code Architecture's Oberon, Little Hsien's[[note]]then Sakra Devanam[[/note]] skill "Matchless Truth" has her dashing multiple times while delivering blindingly fast slashes.
** TeleportSpam: Her other skill "Flying Kite" is the above but exaggerated.
* SwordPlant: Transcendent Asura's Shadow Press skill has her stabbing the ground with her spear and creating a shadow circle that binds her enemies.
* ThisIsADrill: Little Specter's skill Spell: Storm ends with her drilling her enemies with her spear.
* [[ThrowingYourSwordAlwaysWorks Throwing Your Spear Always Works]]: Her Shadoweave skill has her throw her spear away and then it boomerangs back to her.
** Her Wolf Fang skill has her throwing multiple shadow spears.
* ThreePointLanding: When she activates Awakening Mode, she'll do a short jump and then land like this.
* ThrowTheMookAtThem: Little Hsien's Eight Trigram Palm skill can send out her victim to fly away and hitting other enemies.
* TornadoMove: Little Specter's skill Spell: Storm and secret move Night Parade of One Hundred Souls creates a giant tornado.
* TransformationOfThePossessed: Aside from MysticalWhiteHair and RedEyesTakeWarning above, in Eun Mode, she grows 9 spectral fox tails.
** The Little Specter job path takes this much further: Even without transforming, she's got a [[RedEyesTakeWarning Eun-red right]] eye. She can also access Eun Mode much more easily with just 1 or 2 Awakening orbs; she'll gain 3 and 6 tails respectively. And in her Eun Mode's full power (3 Awakening orbs), she also grows [[UnusualEars fox ears.]] Then as Asura she develops FemmeFatalons and [[MysticalWhiteHair Eun-white]] skunk stripe, and [[UnusualEyebrows her eyebrows become smaller and sharper as well.]] Justified in-universe in that her exorcism abilities allow her to undo a bit of the exorcism seal of Eun, letting it affect her more than before, which is shown by the list of changes above.
* TremorTrampoline: Her Falling Dragon skill is a heavy smack with her spear that will propel enemies high upward.
** Little Hsien's secret skill (Blast) also has this effect.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: She's mentioned to be afraid of insects.
* YourSoulIsMine: In Eun Mode, whenever she kills a mook, she'll gain a little amount of health.
* YouWillNotEvadeMe: The aforementioned Shadoweave can pull enemies towards her when it connects. Little Devil's Suppression: Energy and Yama Raja's Energy Void skill, meanwhile, acts like a black hole.
