* Smeghead chews out Nick Swardson's response to the critics of ''Bucky Larson'' for being childish and entitled and talks about how important it is to accept failure and move on even if a lot of hard work went into it.
* His absolutely EPIC rant/breakdown of Bella's character in the ''[[Film/{{Twilight}} Breaking Dawn Part 2]]'' review.
* In his review of ''Film/StarTrekTheMotionPicture'' he shoots more than one brutal TakeThat at Creator/StephenCollins (Captain Decker), who in his later career confessed to several counts of sexual aggravation towards children. While he does compliment the man's performance in this film, [[BaitAndSwitch he quickly follows it up with]], "But seriously, [[PrecisionFStrike fuck]] him."
* A small one, but in his ''Film/DieAnotherDay'' review, Sean chews out Sony and every other film movie chain for cancelling the release of ''Film/TheInterview'' because of North Korea's over-dramatic nature regarding the film when they were A-OKAY [[EpicFail with other films being released such as]] ''Film/TeamAmericaWorldPolice'' and ''Film/RedDawn2012'' is impressive, especially since he won't let people forget it.
* In his review of ''Film/SavingChristmas'', Smeghead shows way more knowledge about Literature/TheBible and Christianity as whole than the self-professed Christian, Creator/KirkCameron. He even admits he can count how many times he's been to church on ONE hand but knew ten times more knowledge about the Bible than Kirk Cameron!
* He begins his vlog of ''Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice'' with a little disclaimer allowing the more rabid fans to leave their hateful comments, with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYRm8KHzJyI more than a few suggestions.]]
** He does a similar thing in his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaIvpeQQXTU "Top Ten Movies of 2017"]] video, in which he named ''Film/TheLastJedi'' as his #1 pick.
* Another small one, reviewing ''Film/BatmanAndRobin'' without bringing up the [[MemeticMutation infamous]] Bat Credit Card.
** Indeed, his reviews of ''Film/AloneInTheDark2005,'' ''Film/BattlefieldEarth,'' and the aforementioned ''Film/BatmanAndRobin'' feel fresh and original despite all three being famously covered by ''WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic'' beforehand. For example, his review of ''Film/BattlefieldEarth,'' goes in-depth on the TroubledProduction and how the studio Franchise Pictures filed for bankruptcy as a result of shady accounting.
* In his vlog of ''Film/Ghostbusters2016'', he discusses the film without bringing up the controversy surrounding it (even bringing up some legitimate misgivings he had with the film), and he also points out that the [[Film/Ghostbusters1984 original]] [[Film/GhostbustersII films]] weren't "ruined" by the mere existence of the reboot and that they can still be enjoyed.
* In his review of ''WesternAnimation/NormOfTheNorth'', he mocks Creator/RobSchneider's [[CantTakeCriticism inability to take criticism]], and points out that he should be used to it at this point, especially considering how pretty much all of his movies have been negatively received.
* Another small one, but the fact that he calls out the DoubleStandard people had in regards to Creator/MichaelBJordan being cast as Johnny Storm in ''Film/FantasticFour2015'', pointing out that no one complained when Creator/SamuelLJackson was cast as Nick Fury in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse or when Creator/HalleBerry was cast as the lead of Film/Catwoman2004.
* Smeghead absolutely ''tearing'' apart ''Hillary's America'', criticizing how biased and poorly-made it is, debunking nearly ''every'' one of the film's points (including the "secret history of the Democratic Party", information that while accurate, is ''nothing'' new) and the [[{{Hypocrite}} hypocrisy]] of its director. He even states that his intention isn't to sway viewers towards [[UsefulNotes/HillaryRodhamClinton Hillary Clinton]], pointing out that there are plenty of legitimate reasons to dislike her, and that even conservatives likely aren't going to be swayed by the movie.
* Him reaching [[MilestoneCelebration his 100th episode]] reviewing ''Film/Plan9FromOuterSpace'' in March 2018.
** This TakeThat during his "Special Thanks To" in the credits:
--->Website/ChannelAwesome for not hiring me
* Smeghead calling out the filmmakers of ''Film/{{Bolero}}'' for having an underage Creator/OliviaDabo appear fully naked in a scene with no narrative point. He also chews out director John Derek for cheating on his then-wife with Creator/BoDerek (who was underage at the time) and says that he fully deserved his two Razzies for the film. This statement made soon after he pokes fun at John Derek also deserves a mention:
-->"Death does not magically make bad men good. It only makes them dead."
* Smeghead calling out the falsehoods of ''Film/LastOunceOfCourage'' and the filmmakers' persecution complex. He points out that there are no such events in reality that the film portrays (even making a convincing fake story about a lawyer trying to remove a nativity scene that would be a safety hazard) and later tells everybody involved with the making and promotion of the film what he knows will be [[CoolAndUnusualPunishment the most stinging thing they could hear]]..."Happy Holidays."
* Smeghead's speech when he realizes that ''A Madea Christmas'' is not as bad as he’s making out to be and decides to cover it.
-->"Wait wait wait wait, wait... wait a minute. [[DareToBeBadass When did I become such a bitch? I'm better than this!]] Think about all the crap I've sat through before: ''Film/{{Twilight}}'', ''Film/{{Fifty Shades|OfGrey}}'', ''Film/{{Catwoman|2004}}'', ''Film/TheLastAirbender'', ''Film/Movie43'', the worst of Creator/AdamSandler and [[Creator/VinceOffer the Shamwow Guy]]. But ''this'' is what's gonna do me in? This 'Madea', really? Madea is finally gonna be my undoing? Come on, what can Madea do to me that hasn't already been done? You know what? We're doing this. Next time, ''A Madea Christmas''. Tyler Perry, ''do your worst.'' Or y'know, you can do your best, too, that'd be fine. I like surprises."
* In his vlog on ''{{Film/Madame Web|2024}}'', he debunks the idea of "superhero fatigue" by pointing out that it's not just superhero movies that have been doing poorly at the box office around 2023-2024, and that both ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3'' and ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse'' both did very well in 2023, suggesting that audiences are merely tired of half-assed superhero movies, not the genre as a whole.
** He also calls out the people who blame the poor box office for ''Madame Web'' on the film having [[GirlShowGhetto a largely female cast]], pointing out that ''{{Film/Wonder Woman|2017}}'', ''{{Film/Captain Marvel|2019}}'' and ''{{Film/Barbie|2023}}'' were all commercially successful, and that the reason for ''Madame Web'''s failure is a lot more obvious.
-->"This movie failed for one reason and one reason only - because [[TaintedByThePreview we all saw the trailer and thought "Wow, that looks like shit"]]. And we were right."
