You're expected to start rooting for her before her CharacterDevelopment kicks in, even when the situation she's in is all her fault and she's arrogant and unfriendly to everyone she meets apart from [[SingleGirlSeeksMostPopularGuy the lone hot boy.]] Even when she [[DefrostingIceQueen defrosts]] she doesn't really do anything that isn't selfish, the friends she makes are just there to make her learn from them, without giving much back except being gracious enough to not treat them like dirt anymore.
