* BileFascination: The game has earned a reputation for being one of the worst {{RPG}}s ever, the game tries to combine both elements of RPG and dating simulation but ultimately falls flat on both fronts. On the RPG side combat is sluggish and clunky, generic fetch quests are plentiful, monster encounters are too high, and battles are incredibly easy to break after grinding for a short while. The dating sim side is no better with a fairly generic fantasy story with mostly bland characters, bad voice acting, and a tone that has a hard time balancing comedy with drama. This awful reputation has resulted in it becoming a collector's item for the Playstation 3.

* CultClassic: Despite having a very negative mainstream reputation, there is a small group of dedicated fans who love it.

* ThatOneLevel: The Wind Plains in Chapter 2, it's the largest area in the game, has no plot significance aside from, "We need to cross through here to make it back home," and is full of practically nothing but robotic DemonicSpiders.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Nearly all of the backstory on the main couple having fallen in love and gotten engaged is relegated to optional Memory Events, suffering from Toki almost resorting to CharacterShilling for Zack and making their relationship much harder to believe and support.

* BrokenBase: The game released to ''very'' negative reviews due to it not living up to its advertised hype as the hand-drawn animation can look choppy and repetitive while most of the characters don't start off very likable, so one side will bash on it for those reasons. While those who love the game will cite the game's not taking itself very seriously and silly humor as positive charm points while the legitimate character growth and serious moments stand out more as a result.

* HilariousInHindsight: A [[NiceGirl kind]] and ''[[MsFanservice very attractive]]'' [[RedHeadedHeroine redheaded]] woman shares the same body with a much more aggressive blonde woman [[ActionGirl who both can kick the stuffing out of people]] on a regular basis. The main male lead is killed off and is revived by the special power the two women possess and both are involved with some kind of cute dragon mascot. Are we sure this is ''Time and Eternity'' and not ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2''?

** Vampire-type monsters as they can get up in your face, lower your sword attack and physical defense, then just wail away on you and drain on your Hp without giving you time to cast any magic unless you have Anti-Knockdown or a Blowback skill equipped. The worst offender is the [[MeaningfulName Dark Stalker]], as unlike other vampire enemies, they don't retreat back on their own and like to spam their sword strikes.

* MST3KMantra: The game doesn't take itself very seriously, so people who have played through it tell new players to keep this attitude in mind.
* PlayerPunch: The normal ending. [[spoiler:One of Toki or Towa will fade from existence and ''you'' have to make that choice]]. Can be averted in NewGamePlus.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Regardless of how people feel about many elements of the game, the soundtrack is praised heavily. Towa's battle theme in particular as it comes complete with its own guitar solo!
