* ArchivePanic: With over 7 million words already written and growing by about 40 thousand each week, the story definitely qualifies.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: Ryoka heading back to Teriarch, despite the fact that he tried to ensorcell her earlier, just to flip him the bird, NoSell his mind control, and get a ''proper'' payment for a truly horrific job. Better yet, Magnolia's listening in telepathically, and she's doubled over laughing at the increasingly disgruntled dragon.

* HateSink: Perusa is Ryoka's main rival in the Runner's Guild. She is a lazy and cowardly runner that is described as "rat-faced". She abused the Guild's unofficial rules to get her way, then [[StrawHypocrite immediately ignored them]] after she lucked into some good Skills and didn't benefit from them anymore. She's shattered Ryoka's legs, swapped out her health potions before a difficult run, spread rumors about her, held [[FairyCompanion Ivolethe]] hostage, and has explicitly stated that she wants Ryoka to be raped and then die screaming.

* CosmicHorrorReveal: While early Volumes did have violence and some dark themes, it was predominantly still a Slice-Of-Life story set in a LitRPG fantasy world. Later Volumes proceed to reveal that the setting can be considered a full-on CosmicHorrorStory. The TrappedInAnotherWorld ritual is fueled by inducing miscarriages and is actively weakening reality. All souls are BarredFromTheAfterlife, and the [[BrownNoteBeing Dead Gods]] are actually ''Undead'', and they are trying to eat said ghosts. Now, [[EldritchAbomination Seamwalkers]] that even the gods fear are climbing their way up out of the Last Tide by the thousands. No wonder the Fey and the rest of TheMultiverse all quarantined off this universe.

** Several readers view the Pawn and Lyon relationship as straight-up NoYay due to the general {{Squick}} of a human having sex with an anthropomorphic ant.

* RapeAsDrama: Usually played as RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil, it has been used as a dramatic plot point. This leans briefly into BlackComedyRape in one scene where Toren [[HumansThroughAlienEyes curiously observes]] a rape-in-progress, before killing the rapist and terrifying the victim.

* InterspeciesRomance: These are fairly common in the main story, but the... mechanics of them are explained explicitly in the "Mating Rituals" Interludes.

[[spoiler:Until his followers race to the defense of Pisces, who unlike every other person around, has actually heard of gods and [Priests] and faith, due to hanging out with Antinium.]]

He's slain at the climax of the fourth volume, entrapped alone and overcome by the Necromancer and his elite servants at the battle of Invrisil.]]
