Once More his comment about a monarchy always being subject to power struggles forgets the fact that not only are there none in today’s monarchies or that the civil wars were actually quite rare back then, but Marc seems to forget that Monarchies HAVE been Meritocratic, or that Democracies CAN be elitist and have power struggles.
