** Spoony himself becomes a pretty huge woobie for the duration of his Atari 2600 E.T. review. Not only is he playing [[SoBadItsHorrible one of the worst games ever made]], but he's doped up on painkillers and spitting blood while doing it. (The video was made shortly after multiple surgeries to remove his wisdom teeth.)

* SoBadItsHorrible: Mostly everything he's reviewed that ''isn't'' SoBadItsGood, mostly FMV games (''Pumpkinhead'' being the game that managed to finally break him).

* HarsherInHindsight: Learning about his heart-condition and that he has been forced to quit drinking caffeine because it, as Spoony so elequent put it, "Can make his heart explode". It makes it rather cringe-worthy when you go into a archive-binge and realize just how often he drinks from a can of soda during his reviews.

** He's also a bit of a closeted {{Otaku}}, as he's gotten pissed over people calling [[{{Hellsing}} Alucard]] [[SpellMyNameWithAnS Arucard]] and even [[http://twitter.com/TheSpoonyOne/status/5238440236941312 thinks]] he looks like [[{{Monster}} Dr. Tenma]].

Collecting the recording spheres gives Auron new Overdrives. Auron gains the Shooting Star Overdrive after the fight.

** Spoony himself certainly feels entitled when it comes to franchises he likes. He kept shouting "BETRAYAAAAAAL" in his preview video of Xcom, for the horrible crime of being an FPS of a Turn-based franchise... As if 2k were somehow accountable to him.

* ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontWatch: {{Lampshaded}} in that he's never actually played ''FinalFantasyIX'', beyond maybe two hours, but avoided it ''solely'' because he hated the art style, and hadn't been paying any attention to the first two hours, since he wrote Zidane off as an "androgynous-whiny-pansy-ass character". He also admitted that "it was likely that [he] was being fiercely unfair" to ''FinalFantasyIX'' on judging it by its art style, especially when the game was specifically targeted at fans of the NES and SuperNintendo-era FinalFantasy games like him, but he just couldn't get over it. Most would agree he's right--if nothing else, "whiny-pansy-ass" is a term that few would use for the likes of [[ChivalrousPervert Zidane]] [[LovableRogue Tribal]].
