* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Marge. Yes, it's understandable that she would be upset that Homer got married to Amber while in Vegas. However, Homer showed genuine remorse and made it abundantly clear that the whole thing only happened because he was piss-drunk (and he doesn't love her at all, only Marge), yet Marge acts as though it was deliberate and treats this as the worst thing he's ever done. Worse, Marge kicks Homer out of the house after being unable to divorce Amber (because Judge Harm wouldn't let him), even though [[MustMakeAmends he tried to make things right]].

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: At the beginning of the episode the Springfield Republican Party is discussing things to do and Krusty suggests putting Creator/{{PBS}} out of business. With the Republican Party attempting to cut funding to the channel in the 2010s, Krusty's comment proves to be prophetically accurate.

** Same with the repealing of environmental laws, as when Scott Pruitt became head of the EPA he tried his hardest to undermine the agency by getting rid of as many environmental laws as he possibly could, which naturally had disastrous results.

* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Marge. It's understandable that she would be upset that Homer got a 2nd wife while in Vegas, but Homer was very sorry and kept explaining to her that he was wasted when he did it, and she should know by now that Homer does A LOT OF STUPID stuff when he's drunk, but obviously would NEVER do it when he's sober (or close to sober as he gets). Yet she acted like he did it on purpose, and treated him very coldly. To make matters worse when Homer tries to get a divorce from Amber he had the unfortunate luck of having Judge Harm precede it, and of course saying she's a stickler for the law is an understatement, and since bigamy is legal in Nevada, Harm orders Homer to stay married to both his wives. So with Homer forcibly stuck in two marriages does Marge do something about his situation? Yes...SHE KICKS HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!
