* HilariousInHindsight: "This liquid looks pretty! Let's drink it.". The said liquid is colored green. In these days, one of the more well-known drug detectors will turn the drink green when it discovers a date rape drug.

** And the octopus actually takes a breath when diving back into the sea. And also when it reappears in the last minutes of the film.
** Speaking of the octopus, THEY DO NOT HAVE MUZZLES, YOU IDIOTS.
*** Actually, just about everything related to the octopus in this film is completly ludicrous. In addition to the fact that it has a dog's nose (why?) and the fact that it has to take a breath underwater, I'm pretty sure that there is no existing species of octopus that size. Most species of octopus which live near the surface are smaller than the average human. Granted the giant octopus is pretty big, but they live really deep underwater and couldn't go anywhere near the surface, and even if they could, they would be nowhere near big enough to hold a ship like the Titanic.
*** Also, if I'm not mistaken, an octopus's mouth is actually located on it's underside between its tentacles, not right under the eyes as the movie claims.

* CrowningMusicOfAwesome: The closing credits song, 'Ocean Dreams' (or 'Ocean of Dreams') sung by Cynthia Z. It may be the ''only'' awesome thing in this movie.

* UnfortunateImplications: Denying that anyone died on the ''Titanic'', just for the sake of a trite anti-whaling screed. It's enough to make you wonder if the people behind the film were even aware that Cameron's film was based on a real event where hundreds senselessly died.
