* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: "DJ Elephant Man" features a bad guy played by [[Creator/{{Nigahiga}} Ryan Higa]], the YouTube star who was originally supposed to be the main character of the show, and his two backup dancers/henchwomen who are shown to fight in a synchronized manner and use a fighting style mixing dance moves and martial arts, which look good on screen. The three bad guys only appear at the beginning and at the end of the episode, and their only confrontation with the heroes lasts a few minutes at the end, while half of the episode is devoted to Owen's dream. Also, while it is only played for laughs, the fact that DJ Elephant Man is Amanda's and Mike's favorite DJ and a former member of the highschool doesn't lead to anything either, not even a BrokenPedestal moment.

* TheyJustDidntCare - Like its predecessor, TheTroop, this show leaves quite a bit to be desired. Then again, its kinda expected at this point given Nickelodeon's obsession with appealing to the teenage demograph. Still. . .
** Blatant ripoff of the Power Rangers and common Ninja/Secret Agent shows? Check.
** Unfunny, cliche jokes? Check.
** Bad dialogue and acting? Check.
** Shallow, uninteresting cast? Check.
*** Amanda stands out among them: she's so typical it's hard to believe she even a main character, and when she became a ninja, is a borderline MarySue with how 'perfect' and 'cool' she is in the thick of thing.

* EthnicScrappy: Owen.
* UnfortunateImplications: Some of Owen's schtick seems lifted directly from a 19th-century {{minstrel show|s}}.
