* CultClassic: Despite the game's poor sales, it's gone on to be widely considered a major hidden gem with adventure gamers, and one of the only true exceptions to the "FMV games are always terrible" rule. No other game quite like it has ever been produced either, further cementing its status as this.

* ScrappyMechanic: The original disc based release handles its disc swapping in a really irritating way. Where most MultiDiscWork games would have you switch discs when you reached a certain point in the game's story, and others would have a large map divided up into discs that you'd have to swap when you crossed certain points, this game has an annoying mixture of both, where different areas of the game correspond to different discs but the game seems to expect that you won't go back to the old areas once you get to those points, despite them still being accessible. This in turn can lead to points where you may get a phone call, and if you're in an earlier area of the game you'll be forced to put in another disc, and then put the disc you were just using back in. Thankfully the current digital releases make this an obsolete problem.
