* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Kyle, during the mass breakup scene, is seen not crying over a girl breaking up with him, but over Cartman, even looking at an old school photo. Was he only crying because of the guilt of destroying Cartman's electronics, or because he genuinely cares about Cartman? It could be suggested that it was the former, given Season 21. But him caring about Cartman isn't out of the question.

** The girls as well. Them and their mothers get trolled endlessly on social media by Gerald ForTheEvulz, leaving them distrustful of the boys because they still hang out with who they believe is the real perpetrator is Cartman. However, they then apply GuilltByAssociation and collectively cut ties with all the boys, even the ones in different grades or classes from Cartman, leaving them all heartbroken.

not all the boys participated in the destruction of Cartman's stuff

** It's hard not to feel at least a bit of pity for Cartman after his Apple products are destroyed by his friends as punishment for something he didn't do.
** All the boys in general too. Destroying all of Cartman's stuff without proving he was guilty was uncalled for, but they're plagued with guilt after they realized they were wrong and then their girlfriends break up with them because they think they don't care about stopping the troll.

do, especially if you believe that his HeelFaceTurn before that was genuine.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Overlapping with SugarWiki/FunnyMoments, Gerald trolls to the sounds of ''Smokin'' by {{Music/Boston}} in a montage that ends with him on stage with the band, playing his keyboards like an organ.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: A minor example. Though Clyde and Kenny are shown among the broken-hearted boys, their latest girlfriends [[Recap/SouthParkS17E10TheHobbit Lisa Berger]] and [[Recap/SouthParkS13E1TheRing Tammy Warner]] aren't shown at all. Since the show makes a reference to Nichole's relationship with Tolkien, it would've been nice to see them. The fact that Season 26 implies that they both have since moved on from them anyway (with [[Recap/SouthParkS26E4DeepLearning Clyde being back together with Bebe]] and [[WesternAnimation/SouthParkJoiningThePanderverse a background conversation implying Kenny likes another girl]]) only cements this.

Idiot Plot is now a definition-only page. Fixing indentation

* IdiotPlot: Between actually checking Cartman's browser history (rather than destroying his stuff on the spot) and people simply checking the IP used by skankhunt42, a good chunk of the final act could have easily been avoided.
* JerkassWoobie: It's hard not to feel at least a bit of pity for Cartman after his Apple products are destroyed by his friends as punishment for something he didn't do.

* {{Anvilicious}}: "People take internet life way too seriously". Real world transgressions go unnoticed in one of [[spoiler:Gerald]]'s scenes, quitting Twitter is treated like suicide, breaking someone's electronics is treated like murder, Heidi Turner is ignored by a roomful of people memorializing her on Twitter despite also being present in the room...it goes on. Of course, given the ever so increased prominence of social media, [[SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped this isn't exactly a BAD moral]].

%% Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: People ''do'' take internet life, especially certain forms internet bullying, far more seriously than they should. Leaving social media, where your day-to-day life isn't broadcasted to the world any more, ''is'' interpreted as death. And people in the 21st century are so dependent on social networking that to cut you off from it ''would'' be like murder.
