* {{Narm}}: Everyone acting like Archie's video is violent, scary, and morally questionable, to the point that he becomes something of a pariah with everyone being disgusted and terrified of his actions. Though he is in a dark place, its kind of a ridiculous over-reaction to a pretty ridiculous video of Archie posing with a bunch of shirtless dudes. Even without that ridiculous detail, all Archie does is declare that he wants to hunt down and 'end' the Black Hood, which while it could be interpreted as violent, is still a pretty tame.

* InformedWrongness: A lot of Archie's behaviour gets called out here, and while its true he is spiralling, some of the things he does that get him vilified are really not calls for such hostility. Besides making the video (detailed bellow how ridiculous the reaction is), that results in Weatherbee shutting down the football team, he gets suspended because a shop owner reported seeing a red-headed teenager with a gun late at night on the other side of town (forgetting that they only pulled the gun when several gang members ''pulled switchblades out on him''), punishing him for something they can't even prove he did (or even something that's actually illegal). As said, his behaviour ''is'' out of control, but its something they should be trying to help him with rather than vilify him for, which is only going to make things worse.
** Except that vigilantism is illegal, as is buying and carrying an unregistered gun no matter how well intentioned, and while the serpents did pull a knife it could be argued that it was only meant as a scare tactic since they back off pretty quickly and Archie doesn't actually have any proof that Black Hood is from the south side beyond ”they're bad" so sheriff Keller and Fred aren't entirely wrong. Weatherbee is a bit iffier but this is actually the second serious offense the football team has been caught up in so you could argue that he's trying to prevent another incident like the the slut shaming thing from happening.

* StrawmanHasAPoint: Alice spends most of the episode inflaming a class war, but she is right to point out that there is a murderer out there and that she has the right to know the whereabouts of her daughters, who just blame her for everything.
** Then again, she does abuse her daughters and is at the forefront of most of the series' worst moments.
** Not to mention that it was all but stated in season one that she's from the south side herself, which just adds to her already blatant hypocrisy.
