* SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments: His first [=AE86=] Trueno review starts off with his lengthy [[TakeThatAudience diss]] against the ''Manga/InitialD'' fandom and how it's only popular because of that series, before going into a sincerely appreciative overview of the vehicle and coming to the conclusion that it's really a fun car to drive after all. His second Trueno review starts off similarly, but this time he muses about the layers of pop culture exposure it's had over the years and how it isn't necessarily just ''Initial D'' that made the car so popular and still would've become an iconic car even if the "tofu delivery guy turns out to be an awesome racer" anime didn't exist.

And just to show that he loves the car and wants someone else to have it, he even did a giveaway for a replica of the Fujiwara Tofu Shop car!

--> "What I mean is: Even if it hadn't been for ''Initial D'', you would still have the Drift King [Keiichi Tsuchiya]. He showed the world what this can can do in a video that went viral before that was even a thing. A video that birthed drifting as a motorsport. The whole thing built a legend around a car who, even without the Drift King, and even without ''Initial D'', still had a lengthy motorsport reputation. It was a rally car; a champion of the British touring circuit. It adorned the cover of countless magazines. But without ''Initial D'', without the Drift King, without the motorsports pedigree, this was still [[SimpleYetAwesome a low-cost fun little car]] with a durable engine, 50:50 weight distribution, live rear axle, handling tighter than a five-inch inseam; this was always going to have an audience."

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After the first Civic Si video was met with a frosty reception, it was demoted from a standard review to a Harold Slovinsky video, and a more traditional review was quickly edited and uploaded the same day, keeping the RCR schedule.

* TheOtherDarrin: The Honda Fit that replaced the Toyota Echo fills the same roles as camera car, and lurking in the background. Mid 2017 the Fit was given away to a fan and Mr. Regular stated that they have a new camera car but is very hush-hush about what exactly it is until the update video is released. In 2018, Mr. R. brought his new car (A gold 2004 Subaru Forester) into public attention when he had it taken in for rust repair. While he plans on keeping the car for the foreseeable future, he hinted that he may want to replace his car yet again.
