* FridgeBrilliance: The Sphinx has the ability to cut guns in half with his mind; so why didn't he use this during the raid on Casanova's castle? He has his reasons, but they're probably terribly mysterious.
** Sphinx deliberately pissed off Furious with things like the watermelon prank, in order to get him in touch with his true fury, which was meant to be directed at external enemies. Previously, his true fury had been tied up by the fact that he was not who or what he wanted to be, and when it came to actually attacking anyone with it, he'd been faking most of the rage.
* FridgeLogic:
** When infiltrating Casanova's estate the first time... why didn't The Shoveler ''shovel'' a tunnel into it?
*** Digging a tunnel requires more than shoveling: It requires knowledge of how to set up supports and what nots.
*** It also takes a lot of time, which they really don't have.
** It's established more than once that The Spleen can light his farts on fire. Why does he never use this as a weapon?
*** Setting you farts on fire is dangerous. And turning your back to your enemy when you are VERY close is even more dangerous.
** In the Sphinx's first appearance, he cuts the Disco Boys' guns in half with his mind. Later, when they break into Castle Frankenstein, they're surrounded by mooks with guns, who are all shooting at their Battle Jitney. Why doesn't he cut ''their'' guns in half with his mind?

* NightmareFuel: What [[spoiler:Captain Amazing warps into at his death]].
** "I don't think he's going to pull through."

** Lance Hunt pretends to be Captain Amazing's sponsor as cover. Currently, [[{{Batman}} Batman's]] doing the exact same thing.
