"Accidental Aesop" is strictly for works with no Aesop.

If one person doesn't enjoy what the other wants to do, they shouldn't be forced to participate, nor should the other be forced to give it up. Misuse; this trope is not for plots you WISHED the episode used that the writers never even suggested
Deleted line(s) 5 (click to see context) :
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: As the very premise of the B-plot was getting the Mane Six ready for politics, this is probably the one episode where introducing Equestrian politics and WorldBuilding wouldn't be out of place. Not only that, this episode is the perfect way to properly introduce [[CanonImmigrant Kibitz]] from the ''ComicBook/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicIDW'' comic series and/or give Raven who has always been TheVoiceless in the show prior a proper speaking role while introducing them as political mentors to the Mane Six. None of these ideas were implemented. The Mane Six wound up organizing a parade instead, something that usually doesn't need any political experience.
