Waternoose\'s actions being horrible and inexcusable is why it is a Moral Event Horizon so replacing the word \"excuse\" with \"reason\" seems to be the better solution here.

* MoralEventHorizon: Randall 's plan, which involves , which if the effects on are considered standard, would kill them through suffocation by sucking the very air from their lungs along with the screams. At least has an excuse: he wishes to keep the company going to provide monsters with their power, making him more of a WellIntentionedExtremist than Randall could ever hope to be.
** Hardly an "excuse" to kidnap and potentially kill/suffocate innocent children. A reason, perhaps. Not an excuse.

** Long time fans of the series will be very interested in this psychologist's assessment of the main characters and their relationships with each other. Interesting highlights include attributing Randall's Jerkass behavior to Compensatory Narcissistic Personality Disorder and intentional emotional manipulation by , as well as pegging Mike as being an legitimate psychopath. Seems like EpilepticTrees at first, but reading the full article has the potential to blow minds.

* MindScrew: The appearance of [[spoiler:a gigantic toy Rex, eagerly asking if he got a part in the movie,]] in the bloopers. No, it's never explained, and yes, Mike and Sully are just as confused as the audience.
** If you recall, there's a giant lizard also "walking to work" in the first bit of the movie (we only see his leg and he clucks like a chicken). It's implied that Rex was trying out to be the giant lizard, whether he got the job or not.

Remnants of a \"This Troper\" entry. I must expunge it.

** The smile Sully makes at the end, at least when he first watched this movie. The way he looks at the screen, it's just... unnatural...
** On the DVD, there was an Easter egg that showed the giraffe used to measure height on Boo's wall moving, then peaking around her door to look straight at the camera. It still scares the living daylights out of me.

* CompleteMonster: All puns aside, Randall. Waternoose had the excuse of trying to save his company, no matter the cost. Randall, on the other hand, has no motivation besides perverse pleasure from terrifying the living daylights out of children.
** To elaborate: [[spoiler:He participates in Waternoose's plot to kidnap massive numbers of children and suck their screams out with a machine that is implied to kill its victims if they're subjected to it long enough, and unlike Waternoose, he not only doesn't seem to regret it in the least, but seems to be glad that it gives him a chance to one-up Sulley as best collector of screams from children and eventually take over the company.]]
*** It may be justified, because monsters tend to view human children as EldritchAbominations and probably wouldn't be as disturbed by watching them suffer rather than watching other monsters suffer.
