* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: The game was released in the west at the point Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing, a series set in an alternate universe, had just begun taking Toonami by storm. As the game is set early in the Universal Century, those who bought the game being only familiar with Gundam Wing were left a bit confused by the setting and comparatively simplistic mobile suit designs.
