[[ManipulativeBastard Manipulating]] the native Cyclopean people into waging a "holy war" against the humans of the planet, Jared-Syn and Baal drain the souls of hundreds of people, either killing them personally or having their Cyclopean followers slaughter them, and [[AndIMustScream keep them locked within a crystal in perpetual agony]]. Jared-Syn's rhetoric about bringing glory back to the Cyclopeans [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist is only a ruse]] meant to secure the Cyclopeans' loyalty before he enslaves them, and even the eventual death of Baal fails to upset him much.
