* FandomRivalry: As with many reboots based on popular franchises, this series has gained a huge rivalry mostly within Website/FourChan boards (so much so that it feels you get shunned if you even post anything about the show) from ''WesternAnimation/LittlestPetShop2012'' fans, who were upset that this show is a SpiritualSuccessor to ''LPS 2012'', declare it as inferior to it, or just plainly see it as nothing more than a little kids show. That is, of course, ignoring the fact that Creator/DiscoveryFamily (and more notably what preceded it, ''The Hub'') was a channel dedicated to catering to children, and that ''LPS 2012'' itself ''is'' a kids show as well. There are quite a sizeable amount of people in that fandom that actually ''do'' like this show however, and vice versa (although some do argue that this show is closer to what the franchise was meant to be in comparison to what the other show was). [[TakeAThirdOption Alternatively]], there's a rare VocalMinority that feels this show is even ''better'' than the 2012 series.

* PopularWithFurries: I mean, come on. It's a ''Littlest Pet Shop'' series for crying out loud.

* TheWoobie: It's really hard not to feel bad for Roxie, yes, ''[[NiceGirl Roxie]],'' when she loses her key to the Human World in "Homesick as a Dog." It's clear she loves her human dearly, and [[spoiler:if it weren't for the key being found, she wouldn't have reunited with her for a whole ''month'' at worst.]]

* HoYay:
** Roxie and Jade, no doubt. Both HeterosexualLifePartners who constantly have their moments, such as Roxie coming up with cute nicknames for Jade often (like "J-Boogie" and "Jingle Jade").
** Trip and Quincy also have their various moments.

* DarthWiki/NightmareFuel: Trip's story of the Pet Catcher in "Spooky Tails."

** Some see Austin's only purpose as the [[TheDitz ditzy]] DumbBlonde and the SatelliteLoveInterest to Roxie, and nothing more.
* CounterpartComparison:
** Edie and Miss Featherbon from ''WesternAnimation/WhiskerHavenTalesWithThePalacePets'' bear resemblance to each other appearance-wise, despite being a hummingbird and parakeet respectively.
*** Sultan can also be compared to Trip as well personality-wise.
** The Littlest 6 can easily be compared to the main characters of the [[WesternAnimation/LittlestPetShop2012 2012 series.]]
*** Roxie acts similarly to Minka Mark. [[CloudCuckoolander Need we say more?]]
*** Trip and Quincy act similarly to Vinnie and Sunil respectively, as both are AmbiguouslyGay bros with [[ThrillSeeker contrasting]] [[LovableCoward personalities]] who casually hang out with each other.
*** Edie acts similarly to Zoe Trent, as both are [[DramaQueen drama queens]] with a fine passion for the arts.
*** Bev and Jade, while not nearly as obvious, act somewhat similar to [[PluckyComicRelief Pepper Clark]] and [[OnlySaneMan Russell]] [[TheSmartGuy Ferguson]] respectively.
*** While not apart of the Littlest 6, Carmilla the shy fruit bat in episode 36 can be compared to Penny Ling. Not helped by the fact that they're both purple.
** As the same can be done for ''LPS 2012,'' the Littlest 6 can also be compared to the Mane 6 in ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic''. *** Gladys Ladyloo and Yamua Beetlemoto draw comparisons to Lyra and Bon Bon, as both are HoYay "friendships" where the two characters are constantly seen together. Get this, one of the former's first appearances were the two sitting on a bench, which is ''very'' similar to the [[MemeticMutation Sitting Lyra meme]] featuring her doing the same.
** Trip would probably get along very well with [[WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo Go!Beast Boy]].

** To ''WesternAnimation/WhiskerHavenTalesWithThePalacePets'', as both center around a group of pets who use a magical portal that leads to another world.
*** As a bonus, Miss Featherbon and Edie Von Keet bear resemblance to each other appearance-wise, despite being a hummingbird and parakeet respectively.

*** Likewise, Jade and Roxie probably wouldn't mind hanging out with Raven and Starfire.

Some find his antics and the jokes surrounding him to be funny, and that he adds a unique "little brother" dynamic to the Littlest 6, while others find his SmallNameBigEgo shtick annoying, and consider him to be a one-note character with his neverending compassion for rapping.
