** "Boohoo, my wife is dead"[[labelnote:Explanation(Spoilers!)]]How most fans tend to describe Roland's situation, sometimes even trying to jokingly defend his actions by saying that his wife was dead, so it's okay. It minorly branched out to other characters in the same situation, like Xiao, Ayin, [[VideoGame/LimbusCompany Outis, Heathcliff]] and most notably [[VideoGame/UndertaleYellow Ceroba]].[[/labelnote]]

** ENTER [[labelnote:Explanation]] A meme that got popular on 4chan in particular, involving one of E.G.O Philip's cards whose image has him standing in front of a bright light, accompanied by the caption "ENTER". Other variations of this meme involve photoshopping E.G.O Philip and hide him away in random images. [[/labelnote]]

** In Star of the City, the player is given four paths to take in any order they want. Most of them will have some nasty battles in store, and three of them end in fairly tough boss fights.[[labelnote:Spoilers for layout]]The leftmost one is two fights with the Thumb and one with the Index followed by Distorted Yan, the middle-left one is a BossBonanza consisting of the Church of Gears/Blue Reverberation, the Red Mist, and the Purple Tear, and the middle-right one is three fights with the Liu Association followed by the ClimaxBoss of E.G.O. Xiao.[[/labelnote]] The last one, the far-right path, is generally easier by comparison, consisting of a single-wave fight with Nemo and the Cane Office (which consists of just three enemies) followed by two consecutive receptions of [[spoiler:R Corp,]] the latter of which fight almost identically between their two fights and aren't too hard to take down, with the only caveat being [[MarathonLevel how long the second fight is]]. To make matters better, clearing out the whole branch nets you [[spoiler:Nikolai's page]], one of the strongest pages one can get in Star of the City. Almost fittingly, this path is less narratively heavy than the others, and is at times even somewhat lighthearted.
