* RetroactiveRecognition: Many years later, Hiroki Suzuki (Kazuma Kendate) would go on to voice Hyakkimaru in Anime/Dororo2019 .

** [[EvilTwin Otoya Kurenai]]/[[EvilOverlord Kamen Rider Dark Kiva]] is [[Series/KamenRiderKiva King]]'s substitute in the World of Negatives, possessing not only all of his FantasticRacism, but also a charismatic personality to hide the fact that he is a cold-hearted, scheming dictator. Having created a law that qualifies humans as less than Riders, Otoya exterminated more than half of humanity in a genocide, and sends his minions to wipe out survivor camps. He also beats a Pseudo-Rider for defying him, commenting on how he must obey him for being a true Rider. Seeking to make Tsukasa his successor, Otoya tries to [[TheCorrupter corrupt him]] into abandoning his journey and accepting the nature of his hateful world.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: [[AlternateUniverse Yusuke Onodera]], [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Godai's]] counterpart. For his detractors, starting out as a selfish asshole (aka the exact opposite of the original Kuuga) left a sour taste, and he only got worse when he barely did anything over the course of the show, not even transforming all that much. However, some enjoy his amicable personality when he joins the others, being the more down-to-earth character of the group, and bringing some comedy ([[ButtMonkey at his expense]]). They also point out that the entire point of the AR Riders was to be different from their original counterparts, and that the idea of him being a carbon copy of the original Kuuga with a different face would be a little lazy.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: Kivala. She's small, has a cute voice, and has some of the most adorable moments.

* TheScrappy: Even bigger is [[AlternateUniverse Yusuke Onodera]], [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga Godai's]] counterpart. Starting out as a selfish asshole aka THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE ORIGINAL KUUGA, he only got worse when he barely did anything over the course of the show, not even transforming all that much.

* HarsherInHindsight: in ''All Riders'', Decade's Final Kamen Attack Ride has the All Riders turn into giant [=FFR=] cards. [[spoiler: In ''Final Chapter,'' this is what remains of the Riders when Decade ''kills them''. Subverted when it turns out that [[{{Reincarnation}} this is a good thing]].]]

* TheScrappy:
** Tsukasa Kadoya, for being a jerk who seems to solve everything and having his MagnificentBastard tendencies repeated over and over again in movies or taking the spotlight away from other Riders, gets this treatment. That being said, most fans sees him unfit for a typical Rider protagonist due to his overall attitude. Though [[RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap he smartened up later]] during the events of ''[[Series/KamenRiderZiO Zi-O]]''.

** More than likely, Faiz's plot wasn't expanded because it was very similar to Kiva's, so rather than focusing on the FantasticRacism, they just used the arc to introduce Kaitou.

* WhatAnIdiot: [[spoiler:No, Fourteen, forcing your most loyal servant watch his brother get brainwashed while telling him you've been lying to him the entire time about his education program WILL HAVE NO CONSEQUENCES WHATSOEVER.]]

* TearJerker: The deaths of [[spoiler:Kuuga!Yashiro and AU!Hibiki]]. Some could probably counted as well.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The whole "Orphenochs can't go to school" aspect was just mentioned by one or two lines and that is it. Even after [[spoiler: Faiz is revealed to be one]], it doesn't get mentioned again.

** [[spoiler: Tsukasa being this universe's incarnation of The Great Leader of Dai-Shocker who lost his memories while traveling the worlds.]] This idea could have easily been the center plot of the series itself and could have been explored how even such an iconic villain in the franchise is capable of redemption, change and goodness, especially since he's the anniversary Rider of Kamen Rider itself. [[spoiler: Tsukasa's past and how he even lost his memories are barely even touched upon in the movie.]]

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: [[Series/KamenRiderDouble Double's]] appearance in ''All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker''; [[spoiler:he simply rides in, hands Shadow Moon his ass on a platter (after SM beat Decade AND Rising Ultimate Kuuga at the same time), sends him flying into the Dai-Shocker HQ, then rides off]]. However, the aftermath of the BLAM gives all Riders an extremely wide opening to perform the All Rider Kick.

** The Kabuto World story ends with Kivaara facing off with a Worm mimicking Kivaara, for no reason other than to have a Worm mimicking Kivaara. It gets weirder if you're familiar with the concept from [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto the original series]]. [[note]]Typically, ShapeshifterBaggage is only loosely employed so that Worms, being human-sized, can only impersonate other humans - but Kivaara is ''the size of a baseball.''[[/note]]

* MemeticMutation: ''[[Series/KamenRiderKuuga "Mo' fear! Mo' pain! No henshin, Kamen Rider Kuuga!"]]''[[note]] A parody of the original Kuuga's catchy opening. Lots of people absolutely hate Yusuke Onodera for being a selfish {{Jerkass}} who only ever fought as Kuuga for his own sake or his sisters and for [[ReplacementScrappy not only not being Yusuke Godai but also being his exact opposite.]] Coupled with his transformations into Kuuga being far and few between and some fans wonder just ''what the hell he's doing in the cast.''[[/note]]

** The RX[=/=]Black arc has a BGM of Awesome which plays several times throughout (most notably in the double henshin and Double Kick), which is actually a piece of production library music called "Millions of Me" from [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoHelper VideoHelper]] and has been played on the gameshow ''Series/MinuteToWinIt''.

* MemeticMutation: ''[[Series/KamenRiderKuuga "Mo' fear! Mo' pain! No henshin, Kamen Rider Kuuga!"]]''[[note]] A parody of the original Kuuga's EarWorm opening. Lots of people absolutely hate Yusuke Onodera for being a selfish {{Jerkass}} who only ever fought as Kuuga for his own sake or his sisters and for [[ReplacementScrappy not only not being Yusuke Godai but also being his exact opposite.]] Coupled with his transformations into Kuuga being far and few between and some fans wonder just ''what the hell he's doing in the cast.''[[/note]]

Who expected him to become Another Agito after becoming Exceed Gills before becoming regular Agito?

* GameBreaker: Decade and Diend's Complete Forms.

* CharacterShilling: The novelization outright calls the original Kabuto (Souji Tendou) the strongest Kamen Rider ever, and he effortlessly beats down Decade and Diend at the same time. Also, Tsukasa doesn't earn Kabuto's power -- Tendou ''chooses'' to give it.

* OutOfCharacterMoment: In the novel, Kuuga is the original (Yusuke Godai), but he acts like a more airheaded version of Yusuke Onodera who can't even remember Decade's name (at one point he thinks it's [[Creator/CharlesDickens Dickens]]). In the Den-O world, Momotaros is polite and refers to the other Taros by their actual names rather than [[TheNicknamer his usual nicknames]]; Urataros is described as "the blue Ryutaros".

* SpecialEffectFailure[=/=]OffTheShelfFX: Kivaara initially made her first appearances as a CGI model. A few episodes later and she became a toy on a string.

* MemeticTroll: Daiki Kaito/Kamen Rider Diend, he will give out vague information about Tsukasa to him, will switch sides midway because he’s bored, will steal something important and sometimes give it back at the last second, and can turn invisible and create duplicate illusions of himself. It helps that unlike Tsukasa and Yusuke, he was meant to be seen as annoying, making his ability to mess with them look even better.

* SeinfeldIsUnfunny: ''Decade'' is well-seated with the fans initially but after subsequent crossover movies keep portraying the [[SuperDickery titular rider leading the villainous army to kill all Riders and/or destroying the world]] and yet he is always right anyway [[AssPull for the sake of plot twist]], the series plummeted to slightly above ''[[Series/KamenRiderWizard Wizard]]'' in terms of popularity. [[TheScrappy And considering fans' reception about the latter show...]]

* MemeticMutation: ''[[Series/KamenRiderKuuga "Mo' fear! Mo' pain! No henshin, Kamen Rider Kuuga!"]]''[[note]] A parody of the original Kuuga's EarWorm opening. Lots of people absolutely hate Yusuke Onodera for being selfish jerk who didn't fight for anyone else but himself and his nee-san aka THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE ORIGINAL KUUGA. Add the fact that he barely transforms, or really, does ANYTHING during the course of the story, and people wonder why he even exists.[[/note]]
